  1. Count me in the 'would love instructions' crowd if you're sending out PMs.
  2. Hmm, Assassin's Focus stacks seem to work well on Stalkers with short animation times, but on my Spines stalker I find it kind of frustrating to see my stacks often expire while I'm stuck in the 3 second plus animation times trying to queue up an Assassin's Strike.

I understand the wanting to make them be short duration use this battle only criticals, but as mentioned in beta, the duration seems a little short for practical use in some sets.

  4. They are a lot better, most definetly. They are still perhaps the most selfish AT (which they should be) and don't multiple team performance like buff/debuff ATs (which again, they shouldn't), but they fill their self-sufficient single target DPS role a lot better now without being out classed by everything else anymore.

  7. Yeah, I thought I remembered seeing a patch note stating it was again available for Beam Rifle users a couple of months after Beam was live. I remember testing that on beta.
  8. They can work fine. You just need to slot attacks with Two Acc SOs and Two End Reduce SOs before anything else, as most of your damage and damage bonus is going to come from fury and keeping things rolling without stopping (since Brutes have a very low damage modifier).

I usually slot all of my armors with end reduce too up until when I can start IOing. /Dark isn't that bad with that approach. Just avoid using the self heal at all until you can slot it with 2 x Acc and 3x End Reduce.

With available inf/merits, two slot health and buy a Miracle: +Recovery and Numina: +Recovery, and four slot Stamina and slot 3x EndMod and one Performance Shifter: Chance for +Recovery Proc ASAP.

The ride up to 50 can be plenty smooth with those tactics with /Dark.

This is why I've never had any problem with their cost. I bought 5 extra slots six-ish months ago and have gotten many, many hours of fun from them. To me they were well worth the price. *shrugs*
I can empathize with that price. I'm just saying, for me and at least one other person I know, that cost is too expensive to warrant purchase. It is a global costume slot, but a costume slot nonetheless.

Yes please. As is, the new items tab is useless. I click it to expect to be able to find what was recently added to the market and instead am greeted with tabs and tabs full of months old items, and cannot find the featured items of the week.

An absolute, absolute, absolute must. I will never, ever just 'browse the store' when it cannot tell me what I already own. As it stands, the only reason I would use the store is to get 'exactly what I came there to buy' and then leave, because it is frustrating to navigate, use, and purchase from.
  11. Yay, Dynasty Pieces!

Hmm, discounted costume slot is still very, very expensive. *shrug*
  12. Well, that is why I don't even bother to /petition and I just fix issues that crop up myself (restart arcs, drop the mission, or move on and do sometime else). Unfortunetly, support's hands are usually so tied they can't do anything.

Last time this happened to me, I just spent some astrals from an alt and mailed myself an incarnate unlock token.

'Anything' other than the Free Server Transfer Token would be welcome.

It 'adds' nothing to the value of my subscription, as I suspect many others.

Right, I was sort of looking at that pricing from a VIP standpoint as a convenience purchase to avoid the two days of tips bottleneck to side swap. Priced at 800 it doesn't hold 'much' appeal for those customers.

Priced at 800 I can see it holding appeal to non-VIP subscribers who cannot side swap. As such, it appears priced fairly well (although perhaps 400 would be a better price point).

On the 'should they sell this' issue, I have nothing wrong with convenience options being available from the market that can be earned in-game. It's a great option, for those who prefer to pay over grind.

    I need an Archer

Arch/Kin Corr can be truely epic. Especially when they have a Brute/Tank to follow behind to absorb the aggro while they quickly fulcrum and then back up to cast Rain of Arrows.

Outside that, just convert all insps to [luck]s and pop a couple to make sure you're soft capped (45% defense to all), and then Fulcrum + Back up for Rain of Arrows as if 'you're' the Brute/Tank. Convert more insps, rinse and repeat.

It's a great combo, I must say. Love mine myself.
  16. Granite armor really needs some customization or a non-completely replaces costume version of it.

A minimal FX option for Granite would be awesome.

    Premium IO's?

If you want the 'exact same game' you used to pay a subscription for, you still have to pay a subscription.

But if you want to play the mostly everything free version of it, that is 'now' an option.
  18. Tiny chance for a few more random rewards for real cash.

I'll just stick with the standard random for free.

If it was cheap, I'm sure you'd see people buying and using them all of the time. That goes for a lot of consumables on the market. Waaaay overpriced for the majority of customers.

If it was like 100 points, you would probably see players buying 10-20 of these over a six month period, but at 800 points a piece, most of those players will likely not buy any. Even at half price, it's an 'expensive' option.

But nothing new here. Price it extremely high to start, discount it once, discount it deeper, and then sit around befuddled at lackluster sales and how to boost revenues.

Rage? As far as I see it, it's a quality of life feature. Can either trade in-game time or real money to swap sides. I'll most likely never spend real money to swap sides, but it doesn't offend me that it's there or that others might spend money to do so.

Seems a little pricey though, but then again, that seems like much of the Paragon Market items intangibles/consumables, so nothing new there.
  21. As much as I don't like 'exclusives' being gated behind the random purchase mechanic, I do admit that the Super Packs are a pretty good value if you want all the rewards they offer.

That, and I prefer to 'earn' reward merits, not just spend some real cash and have it all.
  22. I opened over 400 packs on beta and still didn't unlock the Black Wolf pet.

    It's 'really' rare.

It seems to happen when the attack is in momentum mode. The sound effect seems to come based upon the standard mode animation time, a second or two later.
  24. Ugh, One Good Spider.

    Otherwise, sure, let's go! :P
  25. Scrapper is the best AT for KM, because the +Dmg from KM affects them more due to having a large damage modifier to their attacks.

EA shines in being able to softcap easily with IOs, and although it has less Defense Debuff Resistance than SR (you'll occasionally be debuffed below the defense softcap, although a luck with often remedy that), EA has a nice bag of ultility powers SR does not. Namely, it will add a nice amount of +Recharge, some S/L/E resistance, a self-heal (long recharge), and an Endurance recovery tool. A nice trade-off.

EA can run with the best of them, and although it will suffer the fate of defense based sets in that two big hits getting through your softcap defense at the same time versus +level mobs can floor you, it won't happen very often. Versus Cimerorans, for example, I usually have to watch my Defense numbers in combat numbers to make sure I'm not debuffed below 45% S/L Defense, and on rare occasions, a few boss hits will get through at the same time and faceplant me. But on the plus side, it is much easier to retain 45% defense with EA than a resistance set built for softcap defense with IOs because it does boast a 'decent', but not great, 51.9% Defense Debuff Resistance (DDR). Definetly a fun set.
