I'm just reminding people how much we lost when they changed the amounts on the bins. It's easy for vets to forget and newer people don't realize what we used to have.
vault is 50, i think the vault mirrors the standard amounts that you have as storage

Either way, I tested it again this morning to verify before I made my post. It's most certainly fixed at this point as far as I can tell.
thx for confirming this, i honestly didnt know it was fixed, and i do read the patch notes when they are up, i sometimes dont even get on the game till i read the patch notes so i know what changed lol
  3. no its not that definitly not that, ive had full mobs of baddies run off at 3/4 hp or even full hp

i would estimate that less than half the mob was under 50% hp

Also note that a lot of your badges have their name/despcrition changed when you switch sides. So in a sense, "Positron's betrayer" is a "villain only" badge because you have to be a villain to have that badge title. However, you would have had to have earned "Positron's ally" on blue-side first. It's a bit wierd, but if basically if you're gonna be switching sides a lot, don't get too attatched to your abdge titles =)
ouroboros initiation, 2nd mish is the jailbreak and you should be able to get jail bird from that (thats how i got isolator on my mm by flashbacking the ouroboros initiation as a full hero)

the arc should be listed in the 46-50 section i believe
  5. open up the combat attributes window and right click on whatever you want to display

to get the combat attributes window just type /toggle combatnumbers
or go the powers tab and click combat attributes

yeah i know, but i think the root of the problem is that there is something in the AI or a fear component still left in burn as to why things scatter

as mentioned burn was not supposed to have a fear component anymore, but signs still point to a fear component or an AI thing
  7. on my /fire scrapper, even with using blazing aura i still get the mob scatter you are talking about

i dont know if the issue is with the AI or if there is still a fear component left somewhere in burn

unless it has been fixed there is a way to possibly get some or all of the other sides respec badges

if you get all 3 respecs for say redside and do not actually use the respec yuo earned from the trial, and go to blueside (full bluside not just a rogue), then you do a respec it should grant you the corresponding respec badges for all respec badges in which it still says to talk to someone to claim the respec

if the badge says "you have used the respec granted" then your SOL on that badge unless it is changed in the future

(example of the above is my mm has 5 of the 6 respec badges, he is missing the first hero respec badge because he used the respec that he got from the first vill respec but he did not use respecs from the 2nd or 3rd villain trials so he went full hero and used those respecs to get the badges for 2nd and 3rd hero respec trials)

edit: i know someone who petitioned about these badges and the response they got said that the devs did intend for us to get all 6 respec badges, but it is not WAI right now

when i ran through the old maria arc seige wasnt any different than he used to be (like no heal ect)

the new seige only appears in an extra mish after you complete "heroes epic" story arc as far as im aware of
  10. welcome to the game!

first of all this game doesnt really have a pure healing class, as defenders, corrs, trollers, and masterminds can all get a heal set

defenders and trollers can get empathy which has the powers you mentioned, and stuff like fortitude is usually used on the lead tank or brute, or on avg teams anyone really. as for the RAs (regen and recov auras), its usually best to use them before a fight or during a fight as they arent much help when not fighting

the alternate to empathy is used by corruptors and masterminds which is called pain domination which is very similar to empathy but meant more for villains, it has similar stuff to empathy in terms of heals, but its buff powers are world of pain and has a debuff, anguishing cry, and a toggle for +regen (or on a corr it does ticks of heal instead of +regen which is the mastermind version)

empathy and pain dom cant do everything though, and there are many many other team buffing sets that are just as helpful

this is the point i was trying to bring up, its actually easier to hoard stuff outside of an sg, but an sg IMO should be a collective pool of resources for the sg, and its very limiting for a collective sg to pool any salvage if the limit in an sg is max of 540

while as forbin mentions that using only toons, you can store like 30000 salvage, which kind of defeats the purpose of even bothering with sg storage outside of inspirations/enhances (since the most enhances one can hold is only 10 per toon and max inspirations is only 20, and no way to change that outside of using email)

    New Seige Mish

first of all, the siege in that mish does NOT count towards dimensional warder

i think the knowledge of his heal being completely overpowered has been out there since GR launch, and most poeple just avoid it since it doesnt give badge credit anyway

this is a new model of seige too if you run the old arc then he will still be his old wimpy self
  13. Necrotech_Master

    Auto demotions.

the auto demotions are for leader ranks only, and it can be set between 15 and 45 days for auto demotions
  14. most of the threads i seen about this usually end up in the hoarding topic, but i agree that at least the storage size of the salvage containers need to be increased

each bin holding only like 30 salvage is just worthless, my lvl 30 toons can hold that much and once you get to 50 and get the increases to storage amount a lvl 50 can hold up to 80 salvage

i think the salvage base bins should be the same storage size as the other storage options (ie, hold 100 pieces)

it must have been a really really recent patch cause i tried it on one of my alt toons which still needed healing badge like within the last 2-4 weeks and was still getting credit (i think there have only been maybe 2 or so patches since i last tried it and it was still working)

  17. the one combo i never really like was axe/fire

it was decent dmg but terrible surviveability and the constant redraw of the axe made it suck bad

this is my biggest beef with that mish

although from looking at the states of the weakened destroyers they had much much less hp and than normal and as states only have brawl as an attack, but some xp would be better than no xp

the temp they give you i actually found quite useful if you buffed up with a few red insp beforehand, 1 toss could usually kill a whole gathering of them and then the DoT would kill another mob worth
  19. from what i experienced EBs are quite easy for the most part and the few that are annoying/tougher are usually downgraded AVs

i havent personally solo'd any AVs, but i have duo'd AVs of many types and lvls (me and my friend have duo'd LRSF a few times and ITF) but thats about the extent

as for incarnate stuff changing things, i dont know yet, it depends on how much more powerful it does make it, if its just minor enhances then it wont be that exciting other than being stronger than the average joe
  20. yes but only if you get the tips in paragon

and reaffirming vigilante alignment gives 60 merits instead of an A-merit
  21. another alternate method to getting the heal badges is to use aid other on a vet buff pet, since healing powers seem amplified to about 4x normal and healing them at "full" still counts for credit (the reason credit is given at "full" is because they are like normal pets and have about 1070 hp at lvl 50 but a self applied power in their resistance does -maxhp which the game considers as dmg)

while it would be tedious to constantly be clicking aid self, you can get a little over 1000 heal pts credit per heal if you heal for more than 1100, so if you have high rech, low interrupt time and moderate heal enhance you could get it relatively fast
  22. i dont mind resist sets on stalkers too much, however a few things that ive felt stalkers really suck at which makes me less likely to play them

since ive never really had issues with the hp cap and whatnot the biggest reason why i dont like stalkers is the extreme lack of AoE except in the case of elec melee and few other select sets

i just absolutely cannot play a MA stalker because there is not even a single AoE attack, i used to have an MA/ninjitsu stalker and i had problems running with teams higher than size of 3 due to the lack of AoE and the squishiness

things that would make me like playing a stalker a bit more:
    • add more debuff component to AS (or change AS in some way as right now most of my stalkers hardly use it much or at all on teams cause its not useful)
    • i do also agree with hide as an inherent power to give stalkers a little more secondary to pick from, the +def it adds is minimal but it helps on the resist based sets
    • make sure ALL stalker offensive sets have at least 1 multi target attack (can be AoE, TAoE, cone, chain, whatever i dont care just 1 power that can hit more than 1 target)
honestly i did not even know the stalkers got bonus chance to crit with teammates near them because it is pretty much not noticeable at all, and i think its a good idea for teaming, but it would have to be of larger radius and give like 5-10% bonus crit instead of 3% (3%x7 team mates is only 21% bonus to crit, which is really rare to get in the first place) and as others have mentioned its still random chance and barely if at all noticeable

Like while Invul's first passive; Resist Physical Damage, might be a resist power, but it also grants defense debuff resistance.

Shields has defense debuff resistance as well, but not in deflection because it's pretty strong on its own since it grants positional defense, and common resistance. But Battle Agility, Active Defense, and Grant Cover all give defense debuff resistance.

This actually isn't a problem with the set, but DE emanators are far too powerful for the levels you encounter them. The Quartz grant +100% tohit buff that doesn 't care hoe much defense or defense debuff you may have, Cairns seem to grant +75% resistance to all DE, putting them at the resist cap for most critters, fungi grant 10 poitns of mez protection to all DE, and the tree of life is probably the only balanced once, giving about Fast Healing levels of regeneration bonus.
actually the cairns are only +50% res, but it adds up quick if more than 1
  24. each toon already can unlock 4 additional costume slots having a total of 5

3 of them you can get through doing a very short mish arc for either facemakers or icon

the 4th slot is unlocked by simply turning in halloween costume salvage to the related NPC

im sure more costume slots would not hurt, but i doubt poeple would want to actually buy them, but if there was some arc to do to unlock them then it would be fine

They took all my cool toys away: the character-eating Herc, the untargetable blades, Hamidon. I never got the chance to make my Hamidon guarded by unrooted mitos surrounded by EB-class untargetable flying blades and triple damage fire ninjas. Man that would have been awesome.
i remember not too long ago (within the last 6 months) messing around in AE and noticed that the arbiter drones were listed in the arachnos section ( the guard ones which are untouchable and insta kill everything)

i was messing around and apparently the only thing that can kill an arbiter drone is another arbiter drone lol
