the only downside to judgement would be that the dmg is not buffable outside of the alpha boost
other than that i agree with everything (judgement does not crash but only takes about 20 end points to activate) -
there is currently a bug with ion judgement, the initial hit is not affected by dmg buffs, but when it does a jump, the jumps are buffable by dmg buffs atm

about the xp requirement on slots, if you look into the badge tab, the progress bar for the unlock badges shows exactly how much xp is needed for them, "lore unlocked" badge requires 2,250,000 xp (as thats also when you unlock the lore slot too)
i think judgement and interface are 1,500,000 xp and lore and destiny are 2,250,000 xp (the badge progress bar also shows a more accurate % of the unlock too since it goes into 2 decimal places) -
Quote:well they have said they do plan to add more trees to stuff like the lore slot, which makes it likely they will add more trees to all of the slotsNo, but it does lead to a dull game. It is not a situation where you seek certain power set combos, but the pendulum is starting to swing the other way to quickly.
it might only seem too similar now, but thats because were limited to 4 trees only for each slot -
this was my experience, the tier 1 and tier 2s were very very easy to get, i could get as tier 1 boost of almost anything within 2 successful trial runs because the uncommon component reward table was popping up quite frequently so when i didnt need something i just broke it down to 8-10 threads
and you got same idea as me for astral merits too, i have literally broken down every astral merit i get into threads, almost as soon as i get them too, BAF i usually average 4-5 astral merits, lambda sector i can average 2-4 astral merits
breaking down empyrean merits is also something i did a few times because those are worth 20 threads which helped get my common boosts filled faster -
while these buffs are nice and such, you have to remember that they can only apply while your toon is lvl 45+, as soon as you dip under 45 you lose all incarnate powers or if you are running with a toon that doesnt have the powers yet, or on a team that doesnt have the powers yet
the incarnate powers are very nice, but thats because the trials are very tough for teams who dont have a ton of experience with them and these help out a lot
yes any AT can get a destiny aura, but i would get something that benefitted my toon the most, the fact its an aoe its purely coincidental, most of my toons specifically are going with the ageless tree because of the +debuff resistance, which is something that almost no other power in the game gives (except to specific things like slow resist in the cold dom set and end drain resist in FF), the ageless tier 3 is giving us AV debuff resists (85% to all for about 45 sec), which i find much more useful than straight resist/defense since we have inspirations for those
tl/dr i do not see what the issue is here because there are 4 trees in each incarnate slot, and each of those trees have 9 possible incarnate powers which do slightly different things, so theres already a huge number of power differences -
that version of seige even as an EB is quite difficult, my ninja/dark mm had him set to -1 so he was 2 lvls lower than him and i still needed (in addtion to my 6 pets and dark servant) a HVAS and arachnos mini blaster and even then i was just barely out damaging his regen/heal before i could kill him
-
i prolly either have too much time on my hands, or i prepare before issues, the several weeks before i20, i got my main toon the 50 weekly tf badge, which i did mostly during ITF week, and thus netted him about 225ish shards, all of which i just directly converted to threads and those threads into xp with the inf i was saving (i also was bored enough to get almost 6 toons with tier 4 alpha boosts before i20 as well lol)
doing the above basically netted my a judgement and lore unlock on day 1 with about 88% of my interface unlocked
breaking down astral merits and empyrean merits into threads also helped speed up the process of getting the tier 1/2 for the slots, i got lucky on 3 occasions where i got the rare component reward table to craft the 3 rares i have now
overall though, i found it not very difficult to get the slots because most of the trials i was on were successful and i was averaging about 15-25 threads per completion depending on how many drops and astral merits we got -

Quote:im pretty sure in beta i read that judgement powers were affected by interface slotAny power that can accept a Damage enhancement is affected by Interface (this includes things like Judgement - it can accept Damage enhancements but it doesn't get slots so you can't put them in there normally).
and i can attest that when i open up a mob with my judgement power, i can see my interface debuff effect go off on majority of the targets
i think the interface procs affect anything that DOES do dmg, if the power does no dmg then it wont apply the proc -
solo or not, the new seige has a huge problem with the heal, ive seen reports of poeple saying they had a full team and still couldnt take him down due to his massive heal
i think the best way to take him down is bring someone with -special or -heal
(gravitic interface, poison, or cold dom could seriously help) -
if someone could answer the question about it being resistable or not, cause if it is resistable, it will be even less than negligible and almost a waste of time to go for
-
i think all of the support type pets buff at least defense, if you want some tohit and dmg buff then go with seers as they get a very weak version of fortitude
i think clockwork give the highest def buff with a base of 7.5% def -
as of today ive gotten both lore and destiny up to tier 3 and its so satisfying to see a lvl 54 boss thats NOT purple lol
im not ashamed either that i blew about 380 mil inf to do shard to thread and thread to xp conversions because it was well worth it that i could slot stuff in there immediately after crafting them
ive not had to spend any other inf aside from that because the rare component reward tables seem to pop up fairly frequently
im not sure entirely how long or how expensive it will be to get tier 4s, but if i can get up to at least the tier 3s for the slots then ill be mostly happy since they dont differ much from the tier 4s -

Quote:lol, i wanted all my slots unlocked nao, so i forked over about 375 mil inf to unlock everything with only about 2 lambda runs totalI got my tier 1 interface using some banked shards, but I think I'll follow the quide the rest of the way.
Until my willpower caves, that is.
as of now i have a tier 3 lore, almost tier 3 destiny, and tier 1 judgement and interface lol -
interface buffs can stack max of 4x from all sources of the debuff (so 8 poeple with reactive interface can only do max of 4x -res between all of them)

Quote:most poeple dont GM hunt anymore because once poeple have the badges they really arent worth that muchThanks for the input (No sarcasm) - but im just so "Sad" to see all the wasted old content....I dont know the last time I've seen people go to Dark Astoria to find Adamastor or Crey's Folley for Jurassik. I dont see anything but "LOWBIE LFF" and "CC STARTING IN AP IN 5 MINUTES! PRIZES ARE STUPID AMOUNTS OF MONEY!" (Which generally, only the Atlas Park "Sitters" win anyway)
the rewards for killing a GM are just awful and thus turn away a large amount of poeple from bothering with them -
it should work with all of those as i know it did during beta, and as far as i know it has not changed

in BAF trial i have annoying powers lag during 3/4 of the trial
in lambda sector i have little powers lag, but a lot of graphical lag, especially in the munitions depot (the training facility is a little less lag) -
its np, honestly i think it would have been better if there were 2 seperate badges for it (more badges always fun, and would be easier to get if you only had to kill one while not in safety)
-
my dark/stone brute went with nerve for the defense and because a few of my attacks had very light acc slotting (some had none)
my rech though was already good, in granite with hasten up i have around 92% global rech and heal in siphon life was my primary heal and earth embrace was my backup heal -

Quote:you can always convert shards to threads for a nominal inf amount (2.5 mil per conversion)Trials and they changed it to for the Apex and Tin Mage TFs there you get awarded 2 threads instead of shards. I believe those are the only way to get the threads.
10 shards to 10 threads once every 20 hours
10 shards to 5 threads no time restriction
honestly thats prolly the best way to do it since shards are literally pointless once you get the alpha you want
