  1. Heh, entirely wrong forum for this one.

    Carry on.
  2. As you can clearly see, Silas, all the cheerleading retardation will never allow Corruptors to eclipse Tankers in popularity...

  4. They threw the switch and, no, there is no pop-up telling you.

Enjoy the "Macy's Day Parade" emotes.
  5. I. Global Defense Changes and Enhancement Diversification
While the PR for these could have been better (thank you, Jack Emmert...), these were a fundamental change that I believe let this game survive as long as it has.

    II. Global Chat System
This sytem is what has made communication in this game the best that I have ever seen in an MMO.

    III. Super Sidekick System
This was, without a doubt, the best upgrade to the game, on a whole. I have enjoyed the game far more with this system than any other single thing ever added.

    IV. Invention System
While I am not a fan of the current method of implementation (it could use an Incarnate-style upgrade), the benefits of the system as a whole cannot be denied. The most useful part has to be the common IO recipes.

    V. Mission Architect System
This idea is great, even if it does get abused by people with the whole "farming" mentality

    VI. Alignment System
Being able to switch sides has made this game orders of magnitude more enjoyable.

    VII. The Development Team
I have tried several MMOs (although this is the first I've ever played) and none of them hold a candle to the development team that this game has had since Issue 7. While I don't agree with everything they do (and will give them hell for things I don't like, I still wouldn't trade them for the MMO world. We should all thank them for working on this game for us and (more importantly) putting up with our insanity.

They're waiting for primetime so that we can have an emergeny maintenance about 20 minutes after the switch is flipped...
  7. Buy as many Glad procs (from players) as I was able, then never earn more than 2 A-Merits at a time again.

    DING! Seven!

Thanks for all of the work that you guys and ladies do and, more importantly, putting up with us all these years.
  9. Whatever you do, don't powerlevel the thing any faster than normal leveling will allow. You are plenty newb enough without adding to it.

I'll be around quite a bit for the next several evenings and we'll find what you're looking for.
  10. It looks like you can keep Marauder from using Nova Fist by just flying above him out of reach and Taunting him. I'll pay closer attention to it the next time I join one, but so far, that's been the result.

I found I had a lev 28 Tank from years ago when I didn't know anything. I say that because, holy crap the slotting, if you can call it that. I'm working on a fire/electric build for her, and have piggybacked a thread in the Tank forum if any of you know how to do that AT for PvE play. When searching, there's a lot of def vs rech controversy. [search "havoc plasma" for those threads]

Dunno how to build this tank. Only tank I've had that worked was ice/dark, which is a totally, totally different animal.

So, I'll check the calendar. Woob woob woob woob.

Which setup do you want to go with, Recharge or Defense?

Though it did make for some kick-*** hammers.

Trying to shape our old metal garbage can lids into an approximation of Cap's shield... well... that's a whole nother story...

Yes, the shield was always more fun to wield than the hammer.

Which one of the rabbits is you, Cher?

    Happy Easter, everyone.

Well, selling 30 A-Merits worth of other IOs can give you plenty of Influence to buy one and still spread things around the server, if you prefer using Wentworth's "grocery shopping" system. Also, you can do this in a couple of days if you like running lots of alts.

I am earning a single Glad Proc the hard way, just to say that I did it (so I can complain about how insane the idea of 30 A-Merits for one recipe is. ). Next time, if I want one, I'll go with the "share the wealth" method (which doesn't take 3 weeks and appears to have a enough people selling enough in here to make worth it).
  17. The Devs have made it a built-in bio break so that no one has health issues while getting their Incarnate powers. How considerate. Genius, really...

    Howdy again

Welcome back, FI. Give a yell if you need re-invites to global channels and such.

Maybe even let us turn them into Alignment Merits?
  20. Just in time to respec into Inherent Fitness, possibly open your Incarnate slot, and get ready for the All Tanker Incarnate trial at Tanker Tuesday.
  21. We should get enough to attempt it, at least before the server crash.
