I've just got myself one of these M17x's - it's expensive, but it's the finest gaming machine I've ever had.

It's my way of being able to play the next gen of MMOs - I've specifically got Star Trek Online and TOR in mind for it. And since I can run Champions without a single problem (engine-wise anyway ) then it's proving its worth.

I'd love to be able to return to Victory, where I started playing.

There may be a server list merge at some point in the future, even if they're not planning for it yet.

But right now, I'm still adding characters to our other EU server. If you offered me another 11 servers, I'd probably explode and that's too messy to think about.

I've got several character concepts that I want to create (finally play that MA scrapper I keep rolling and deleting, not to mention the small thing about the Archery/TA Corruptor!)

But I'm playing my VEATS for now and I'm quite happy to level them for the moment.

Was there a post about how those who gave legitimate feedback that was then not acted upon in any way, shape or form and then grumbled about it a bit, would be forever banished from Closed Beta?

I never used Twitter until the forums went down. Now I enjoy them. I can read news or interesting tidbits about the game during the day and I've got a few friends that I can keep track of who do use it.

Not as bad as I once thought.

I'm still not going anywhere near Bebo, Myspace or Facebook though.

Okay, that seems like a good idea.

Sure, I can see a few complaints with it, but it'll suit me since I never farm or powerlevel and regularly team with two other people, usually at different level ranges.

Can I just welcome those N.A posters to the newly merged boards with the EU?

I don't know why it's not obvious that happened to many of you, but it's clear for us EU posters that you lot got lumped in with us, not the other way around.

Why else would we get our own special section?

When I started the game, I rolled an Inv/SS Tanker (yeah, brimming over with originality I was back then).

Looking at the power descriptions, I didn't want to take Unyielding, because it meant I'd be hit more.

Took my very patient SG on Victory (are the Poisonous Pansies long since gone, or do any of you still play this game?) dragging me round the Terra Volta reactor after explaining in very polite terms how dumb I was to rectify that mistake.

Perhaps a better reason for lack of Kheldian shading is simply that they don't have enough time before I16 and it'll come along at the same time as all the power pools are done.

I had to suppress a shudder this morning when I went into work and there was a sign in the Subway saying "Football is being played at Ibrox tonight...."

Is that the summer break over already? I mean, seriously, it feels like it's just stopped. Why the hell does football get to only have a couple of weeks off per year and I have to wait 26 weeks to find out what the hell happened to Adama or find out if Eliza Dushku has had any acting lessons during the 39 week break? (I like Dollhouse, but the show would work just as well if she was replaced with a lump of wood, or if really desperate, Michael Caine)
