  2. In Mid's I have been messing around with high DPS scrappers and I noticed a few powers that seemed OP once I clicked the pvp option. According to Mid's, Air Superiority with 3 lvl 50 dmg IOs plus Build Up does over 800 damage. This is a typo right?

    Also, Flurry with the same enhancements does over 1000 damage in pvp with Build Up. These numbers aren't correct are they?
  3. I highly recommend /SR if you got the money for it. Softcapped Def. is nice, but a incredibly high +recharge build results in "perma-elude". Before I get flamed, I know elude cannot actually be perma but with Geas your down time can be like around 20-30 seconds or less for the first crash and then somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 seconds after the next crash; with the two repeating back and forth. I also had phase, aid self, a few blues, and archmage for crashes (stamina is not needed).

    I was able to achieve these results with a spines/sr/dark with about 210-213% recharge and Geas.

    I used to be able to do just about anything with mine: solo AVs, tank GMs, i12 arena, duels, & zone pvp, etc.
  4. It could just be me, but since the last patch, it seems like pvp rep is slightly different. Beforehand, I thought I earned 0.1 rep for every recent kill but now it only seems to give rep once the 5 minute timer has completed started over.

    Has anyone else noticed this or any other changes to rep?

    I never said I took the PP stealth over Mask Presence. I've forged a PVP build with phase and I'm trying to see if I can bypass having to have two stealth powers on the same build so I can free some other useful powers.
  6. If one uses PP stealth, will powers like Slash still critical from "hide"?
  7. So if you're running a NW or Fort and you choose PP Stealth over Mask Presence, does it still give you the "hidden" icon under your HP bar?

    Is the only difference between the two powers the slight -speed and a little more end. cost?
  8. I get ridiculous lag now also. It is not quite as long as the original poster's but it is still incredibly annoying.

    I have played the game for years and literally never had lag issues outside of an ITF...there is something wrong with i17's graphics. And yes, I have updated my drivers and no I'm not running Ultimate mode. Graphics still lag even when they're at absolute minimum.

    I have a quad core processor, 4 gb of ram, new asus mb, and a 500mb nvidia GPU.

  10. Does anyone know if the Devs have said if we will be able to move widows to heroside in i18 (I mean full hero, not vigilante or rogue)?

    If so, will they be able to use the blueside WW and influence?

    Any idea if they will be able to keep patron pools?

    I'm looking for actual comments by the Devs, not speculation.

    Really?

    Did they factor in the ability to do a double controlled critical with BU+Slash from Masked Presence and then Placate, Slash again? Was BU + Shatter Armor in this equation?

    FYI:

    I have a lvl 50 Fury of the Glad. -20% res. crafted proc up for sell on the WW for 900 mil (last 3 sold for 1 bill).

    I also have a lvl 50 Panacea Heal recipe for sell at 800 mil on the ww (last few went for about a billion).

    Just wanted to let you all know in case you needed these IOs at a little below market value.
  13. 1) With NWs, do they only critical from hide? Do the other widows get criticals also, and if so, with which powers?

    2) Can NW and Forts take powers from the widow pool after they respec into NW or Fort build?

    3) Is it possible to dual build with one being a NW and the other being a Fort?

    4) Is it possible to take Follow-up with Build Up or Aim?

    PVP SGs/VGs

    I recently transferred from Infinity since PvP is completely dead there now and I'm just wondering, who are the top PvP SGs/VGs here on Freedom?

    Also, which ones are the loser groups with nothing but trash talking 12 year olds playing on mommy's dime?

    Interesting. Mid's is only listing Lift with 3 dmg IOs at around 200 smashing dmg--which isn't very impressive. Perhaps their numbers are off again.
  19. Why lift? Isn't that just a moderate smashing damage and a -fly power?

    Also, what about the immob. powers? It seems whenever my blaster gets killed in RV, a Grav/ domi holds me and stacks the -run & -jump effects so that I cannot escape after the hold wears off.
  20. Which powers should I take from my primary? Do the 2 immob. powers stack in pvp? Also, does cage still work as good as it did in i12 or have the Devs nerfed that too?

  21. Thanks for the advice Computer.

    I've started a Grav/Fire domi that I plan to use for zone pvp. The pools I want are SS,SJ, Fitness and Aid Self, coupled with Mace mastery for the added damage, shield and PFF (I figure for zone, pff + aid self should do rather well in survivability).
  22. I know Mind/Fire is rather sick in pvp, but which other domi combos are good for pvp? Which patron pools are best?
  23. So back in the day (i12), Forts were all the rage. Couldn't enter a zone without getting spammed with dominate from every direction. But now it seems that hardly anyone rolls a Fort now, so I gotta ask, what part of DR made them so lol?

    Btw, Castle said in a post a within the last month that pvp changes had not been slated for anytime within the new two issues. Which I am taking to mean maybe a year from now at the earliest before base raids return.

    I too recommend going staminaless and selecting the following power pools: SJ, SS, Phase, Leadership, and Weaps for your epic (web nade with hold proc is nasty--especially with impale).
