The given attitude the devs have towards pvp and pvpers in general you would probably see changes made somewhere in between base updates and never.

What might be more satisfying, however, Is just to give a typical pvp response to the situation at every given turn.

That will happen regardless.

At every costume contest, grandiose public display of back patting, Cross media "advertisement" campaign, Gaming site, Etc... you and the collective of your alt accounts could just as easily flame the hell out of them with that ever so sharp pvp tongue and keen wit.

You could say something elegant like, "Go foul up a pvp mechanic you base neglecting hybrid destroying over fed backwards walking donut eating hack" <--- I'm happy now?

That would be more satisfying than spending months if not years of beating your head against a "brick wall" <also see: unified front> and just about as effective as asking nicely.

You forfeit all rights to complain because you didn't take part in beta, you didn't take fire for posting feedback and you didn't step up when it was important.

Our numbers probably would have gotten something decent in place but only if you guys and gals would have shown the hell up and taken the fire for voicing your concerns.

There was only a handful of us expressing our disdain on beta and we knew it would get sour on live but there just wasn't enough to outweigh the trolling parroting cheerleaders.

This is what we have now.

I don't think DC is going to be able to pull it off.

Honestly I think it was a race to see who could produce a good superteam movie first.

Marvel came out swinging in the mix of making moves, taking chances, and most importantly, learning from their mistakes, which should never be taken lightly.

DC on the other hand just kinda sat there at the starting line waiting for Marvel to flop.

Which didn't happen.

Marvel's efforts were risky but in the end they paid off big time. They won the race.

DC could come in second with "something" but knowing their track record... "DC" will happen to it and it will be a watered down obvious echo of what Marvel already did. It will be the "By the way, here's DC's version yay?"

Honestly, I thought they'd have more than enough money by now to better support the development of things base related no matter how "fragile a beast" it is.

I remember at one point and time I think it was Positron that was asked "why did you design the game this way?" or something to that effect, and I think his response was "because I wanted a game that didn't do all the annoying things WOW did"

I remember my first TPN. I had no idea what I was doing but I was sure that attacking certain things was a no-no because of badge reasons. When one of the citizens threw a Molotov cocktail at me, leaving the ground on fire.

I never fought back, but I was instantly accused of using "burn" to attack the civilians.

Why that person felt it necessary to call me a "****" over this I'll never understand.

At the end of the trial I quickly left kinda laughing because I knew my friends were waiting to "dogpile" on that person.
