I was just being myself , ya know taking over everything I get ahold of

PVP in which the teams are picked as if we were back in grade school playing kickball. I'll pick team captains (usually based on AT or power sets). Then the captains would take turn picking their teammates.

(which is why i promote ventrilo, because picking teams becomes TONS easier)

Alright Champion, I'll be starting up regular Kickball on Saturday nights following Hamidon raids!! Before I left the game we had fun crackin' skulls, but now we are going to add in a little bonus .

Each Saturday in the month of March I will host 5 matches, at the end of each I will screen-shot the "score board" and award 1 Merit to all participants and 2 Merits to the winning team's members. On the evening after our last Saturday in March I'll be randomly choosing a winner.

NOTE: each Merit adds your name to the lottery once more, thus the more merits you earn, the higher chance you have of winning!!

1st Prize- Gladiators Javelin: Chance for Toxic Damage
2nd Prize- Apocalypse: Chance for Negative Energy Damage
3rd Prize- Miracle: +Recovery & Numina's Convalescence +Regeneration/Recovery

I hope to see you all in Pocket D on Saturday nights!!

PS: if you go to the CAPE Guild portal website and sign up as a member once we get started I'll be posting stats there. (basically the spreadsheet of name & number of merits)

1) Most enjoyed PVP experience... base raids by far....
2) New Arena maps would be epic actually WITH a mini map would be nice :P
3) For the zones at the bare minimum remove Travel Suppression and Heal Decay, because with them the developers have effectively killed zone PVP. Well, on Champion that is...
4) Rewards... I saw a post way back about a PVP Task Force, was intrigued and basically they said it would be...
- 3 or 5 missions long ( needs to be odd # )
-OBJECTIVE::like capture such and such or X number of pill box(s), kill X number of longbow/arachnos, gather all 3 Heavys @ X Pillbox.....so you can get a bonuses (explained below)
-RESTRICTIONS:: Per mission there would be a time limit OR when the first team completes objective, to only allow 1 team to get the buff.
-TEAM BUFFS:: (like the sirens call/warburg buffs) would be awarded for each mission complete.

Side note:: while each team is trying to complete their objective they might have a few teammates trying to kill the other team interfering trying to slow down the other team to prevent them from getting the rewards. The TF would have several missions like this.

-Last mission::::taken into an instance (to avoid grieving) and they have a 15 minute match where the PVP IO drop rate is increased and at the end they can choose to regular TF rewards (merits or incarnate pieces or Hamidon Enhancements)
--the rewards from the previous missions were to buff players in this mission, the odd numbers were to give a certain team an upper hand because they worked hard and got their objectives completed. They even stated the team with the most kills in this 15 minute match got to get Double the Reward Merits (however if you add PVP merits it could work that way)

-At the end it could spawn all the Recluses Victory "Reinforcements are headed to Pillbox (name)" kinda like the Lady Grey spawns a rikti raid...

Overall I thought this would be a cool way to kind of bring some PVE players into PVP because they'd want to try out the new TF and it would be a good way to please PVPrs who want more PVP IOs (like myself) without making it TOO easy.

The original thread went into more detail, but I don't remember it all. They said you would enter the Recluses Victory City Hall and find the contact in there to start it, it had like a minimum of 4 Heroes and 4 Villains and the Max of 8 obviously...

Its late at night and I'm bored out of my mind and so I started looking around the forums for all the previous posts I've made, and I came across this old thread, i know there is a more recent one but this one seemed appropriate because the other one was only like a month ago >.> (http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...40Most_Amazing) and couldn’t help but want to thank you all again for how awesome you are......it was one of those things where I read all the old posts about myself and felt all spechul and I realized you all deserve that same feeling so here goes nothing, no special occasion other than your awesome and you deserve to feel that way...

You know you have good friends when you come back to the game and within 2 months we have managed to rebuild everything that took me 5 years to build originally....

1. 4shes, the man that words do not describe...without fail you’re always there to help and do whatever necessary to help out, all I can hope for is that I could be as good of a friend as you... and your right its totally awesome that we've been granted the MAH&4shes title for this long... even that post from 09' shows that our friendship is inseparable and one doesn't come without the other

2. Brutal, I cannot imagine ventrilo without you. ...I actually think vent with you is the only time I've ever actually cried from laughing...However, you are the most stubborn SOB I've ever met

3. 'Taker, I do not remember how my COH life functioned without you, you manage to make me smile just by logging into vent, or just by saying "sup y'all" or even the random "YEAUHH" by far the coolest guy in all of COH

4. Tabby, you along with Taker, Brutal, and Ka, make a Comedy Central look like a kindergarten class room. You take pride in your characters and the diversity that they have. By constantly rolling out new toons you keep me in check on the objective that we share, and I have a vague memory of a claws/SR mastermind

5. James T, You aren't online all that often anymore and I hope you get to feeling better, but you’re the most pure of heart person in game that I know. You never say anything bad about anybody; you always want to help in any way possible. You are one of the only people that consistently puts others wants/needs before his own. You beat up on yourself too much; cut it out your awesome James.

6. Ka, you’re a somewhat newer addition to our ventrilo crew but you fit in just right. Between your sarcasm, humor, and quick wits I can tell we will get along just fine.

7. Kaszandra, once again a newer addition to the people I love to team with, these past couple weeks that we've teamed together have been EPIC FUN, I see you log into vent and it’s like I'm a little kid again getting excited about going to the amusement park. You’re still a little quiet from time to time but that will change I love when you’re in game and not in vent all I have to do is send a tell saying “<3” and your reply is something along the lines of “yes dear” and you login to vent moments later…

8. Marshman, you’re a tricky one, you’re quiet enough to go unnoticed in ventrilo but your such a great teammate it’s hard to imagine a team without the Cleric. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve logged into vent expecting you to be there and then finding that your just down in the AFK channel :P I love your [silent mode] setting in vent late at night, I’m glad that our paths’ have crossed and I hope they continue side by side

9. Jester, I really am more and more amazed by you every day. You, like me, have ridiculously high expectations; the difference is you actually achieve your goals. Your blaster is a god, and because of this you’re the only person I know that could play a blaster for all this game time and be just as satisfied as everybody else with all these crazy alts…

10. Chop, the chicken man!!, you have to be the most INSANE farm animal I know… It could have something to do with the fact that you have a toon named Chicken Most Amazing… but who knows lol. I’ll get you that Bio eventually

11. GFunny, I don’t hang out with you as often as I’d like to, we have our differences from time to time, but you still are 10 times the person I wish I could be. I have to say you’re a great PVPr and a great consultant, I can’t imagine champion PVP without you.

12. Medic, like G I wish I could hang out with you more often and we don’t always have enough time to team and PVP and everything. I’ve heard some great things about your scrapper, I also haven’t had the chance to fight it after the recent Respec, and I’ll have to get around to that… I’ll never forget that at one point in time you were the Clown that “gave hugs from behind”

13. Enigma, as little as we get to team together I’m always impressed with your characters. I’ve bragged more on you and your characters than anybody else in the entire game keep up the PVP’n and keep the love on champion

14. Sinny, we don’t team together as often since I’ve returned to the game and I wish that were different. You’re the Most Amazing Friend; honestly I remember endless nights where it was just you and I on ventrilo for hours just talking about anything, about life. You’re stronger than you think. I love you and your family; tell lil B I say hi

15. Braije I swear there are many things I could say about you, but you are one thing for sure... And that is sure of yourself. You stand by your beliefs, and don’t let anybody stop that, you’re willing to fight a war for your friends and that is worth more in a friend than the sum of any other qualities, you’ve had more than your share of battles. I’m glad to know that we are on the same team and have been for years.

16. Force, you’ve probably become a lesser role in my game play than I’d like, but I guess that’s what happens when I go mia for a couple months I miss you man I really do, your insane builds, your humor, and your presence are all missed. We’d love to see you more often, but I know the guys in RDLV are a lucky crew to have a guy like you around.

17. Kahlan, by far the nicest guy I know…I have to say, you’ve probably influenced my game play style more than anybody in game to date. I’ve changed many things to try and keep up with you and your teams. There are no words that describe your patience or curiosity, always pushing yourself and the game to the limits. I’m just waiting until you solo a hami raid

18. Amily, we’ve only been around each other a few key times, and I’ve enjoyed each and every moment, I can tell your going to grow to be a very influential piece on this server, and I cannot wait to see what the dynamic duo of Kahmily will come up with next

19. Cherry, all you need is a recipe that requires honey because you are a busy bee always doing something for PVPEC, and now CAPE. I cannot imagine how much time you invest into this game and still always seem to be in a good mood, I hope you know I’m always looking to help out if you need anything let me know. We all appreciate everything you do for champion.

20. Stone, I didn’t really get to know you until lately, but I’ve learned you’re really cool to be around. Your knowledge seems limitless as does your willingness to help out when you can. I hope we are able to keep up the teaming

21. Jonnie, you seem to always have the one character needed to pull the team together, and you always login at the most opportune times I love teaming with you and hanging out in vent together. I love how every 30 minutes you DC from vent, and I can just assume it was you heh

22. Kev, like Kahlan your patience and willingness to go to the extremes have caused you to surpass expectations, you’re always welcome on a team with me you are fun to be around and have experience in PVE and PVP making you a very rare breed on the champion server. I cannot imagine Not Vent without you.

23. Cam, you’re one of the few people in game where at any hour of the day I can just send you a tell and you’ll join me without hesitation. It’s great to have you on a team because I know that even if it’s just you and myself we can make the rest of the TF/Team run smoothly…P.S-- Thanks for inspiring my PVP widow, its slightly different but I only made it PVP because I saw how awesome yours was.

24. Shinobi, we didn’t really start teaming together until lately with our TF runs, I enjoy teaming with you and your presence is always noticed. Hah I’ll never forget we did a really really fast (I want to say close to 14-15ish mins?) ITF and the first thing you said was “it hurt us to not have a cold” you are also of the rare breed that has a good combination of PVE and PVP experience.

25. Angie/Mo, you guys are freakin awesome and I'll never forget all the times we've spent together, Angie your so fun to be around, and I cannot imagine teaming with you, and you NOT going AFK then coming back with an awesome story to tell :P.. Mo, I wish we teamed together more often, I still am surprised by how many weird and unusual combinations that you can come up with for a character and still kick *** and take names

26. DOLLAR, I've known you a lot longer than you've known me, when I first came to champion my main was an Emp, everybody would tell me you want to be like this guy (points to Milliondollar Healer), and that was my goal, however now that I know you and have had a chance to team with you regularly I know I couldn't ever live up to be like you, your fun to be around, your a jokester, and your always caring as can be. You always want to help out and you trust people to do the right thing even though they've proven you they don't deserve that benefit of the doubt. You along with most of the other people on this list are 10 times the person I'd like to be someday

Do they (villain ancillary powers) have a chance to critical?? I'm playing a Martial Arts Scrapper which after Eagles Claw there is an increased chance to critical and I've yet to see my Leviathan attacks critical? am I just that unlucky or is there something more??

I think the first time i met force was on vent w/ Angie over on UHB vent, and I vaguely remember him talking about prestige, but by far my favorite memory of him was any point in time He, 4shes, and I were on vent and teaming together, OTC isnt the same without ya man...

Happy Birthday Angie!!, I'm glad you are good with weird or some of these past posts would've scared you lol

Here are my Top 10 in order
1) Tin Mage - Easier than Apex IMO & the merits/min is great
2) Apex - Great merits/min
3) ITF - No Mez, so i can rock it with my blaster
4) LRSF - Awesome Story, lots of corruptor love hehe
5) LGTF - Good merits/min
6) STF - I actually get to use my emp from time to time here
7) Khan - idk why...
8) Manticore - my blaster destroys the Paragon Protectors here so its win in my book
9) Numina - 4shes favorite TF, therefore a good TF in my book
10) Dr. Q - I've only done it once when i led it we got it done in in 2.5ish hours im interested to see what we could do next time

Day #1 : You would've found me on Pinnacle roaming around on either an Electric/Electric Blaster (character #1) or a Rad/Rad Defender (character #2) neither of them were in a Super Group

Day #2: You would've found me on my (yet to be known) first lv50 Empathy/Psionic Defender "Most Amazing Healer", the very same day I joined my home forever, Order of the Champion. I was invited by Hunter B a Sonic/Devices blaster that I remember so clearly I could make you the exact costume today, OtC was home . I've been here for 51 months (on and off) wouldn't change a thing, back in February of 2006 the leader of OTC left the Super groups to me. A dead group with me as the only member. I've now made it a home for my friends and whoever else we happen to encounter that might be looking for a place to stay, (base rent is only 1 billion influence per item placed so just let me know if your interested, ahah).

Nowadays you'll usually find Myself (@MAH) , @4shes, @Brutal, and @Black Tabby wearing our tags and a few others we picked up along the way. Special thanks to @NATOR/@ROTAN for taking care of the Super groups while I was away at my 1st semester of college, coincidentally, NATOR and I were both members of OTC before he even remembers :P


Here and there I've taken a character out to go help other Super groups with prestige, healing badges, whatever it may be other than that I've stayed true to OTC.


I also agree that the Champion server is a large Super group with a bunch of individual storage bins. In Fact, I'm always finding myself struggling to decide who to coalition with because I'm always finding somebody new I want to add but I can't because I'm full

OK, I'm going to be doing my first bit of whining about PVP so if you don't want to hear it or don't have a way to make me "see it your way", consider yourself warned.

I've noticed several times while 1v1 with my Fortunata that my defense gets hit really hard by DR, which I knew would happen going into the character. So I built up my defenses pretty high in Mids. I've got my defense at 72% to Melee and Ranged and my AOE at 68% (although this hardly matters in PVP)... When I go into an Arena event with DR ON which is the usual setting, as we all know. My defense drops from 72% to 43% a rather noticeable drop... meaning only 60% of my defense is actually available to me with DR on (in other words DR takes away 40% of my Defense....)

This is something I usually would not have a problem with until a couple days ago when I was fighting a good friend on his Dark/Cold Corruptor..... On his dark cold I noticed if i stood in his sleet I was a dead man no matter what... so of course I avoided the sleet for the rest of the match, yes it was a pain... Is it manageable yes... but is it fair to those that are not able to avoid the sleets...

So I continued the evening fight him and winning half of my matches and losing the other half, all matches were determined by how well I was avoiding sleet... This started to get on my nerves so I finally loaded up my other account with my Cold Corruptor on it and slotted it out just like his... and the results were without DR my sleet did a -32.45% def, next match I left DR on and found that it only dropped my sleets numbers to 25.82%, yes a drop.. (honestly I was surprised there was a change at all)

Anyways, what it comes down to is DR takes away 40% of my defense while DR is only taking away 20% of his defense debuff, also consider that my widow has a 29.4% defense debuff resistance... I have yet to find why or how they justify this as fair, I myself PVP with a Rad defender and Thermal controller so I'm not all against the debuffs, just trying to see how this is fair....

--PS: Please correct me if my numbers are off I took them all straight from arena and my Combat Attributes NOT FROM MIDS.

1) Yes, 55 Merits in 30-60 minutes is worth my time and its one of the few challenges in the game.

2) You know I'd help anytime necessary just send me a message @MAH/@MostAmazing, also hoping to make it slightly less challenging :P

Yes I know its unreliable but it doesn't answer my question anyways... how does this proc fire off? Is it every time you spawn the pet? Is it every time the pet attacks? also are the above numbers correct in PVP??

-Any information whatsoever regarding this proc would help appreciated.
