Only if diplomatic relations with the machine sentience go south.
If we can manage to keep the two sides from killing each other, I'd be all for living in a post-Technological Singularity society.
EDIT:
Quote:Immanuel Kant was a real pissantG'day, Bruce!
(wonders who will be the first to make the connection)
P.S. Hooooot Pockets!
who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out consume
Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel,
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
who was just as sloshed as Schlegel.
There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'bout the raisin' of the wrist.
Socrates himself was permanently pissed.
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
after half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away,
'alf a crate of whiskey every day!
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle,
and Hobbes was fond of his Dram.
And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart:
"I drink, therefore I am."
Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed;
A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed. -

Quote:So... happy...I made the Vanguard Katana available to Broadsword and Dual blades, the Broadsword available for Dual Blades, and the Blades available for Broadsword.
Now that I think about it, that would only work in the MA.... I forgot about there being powerset restrictions on players being able to unlock those custom weapons with Vanguard merits.
Look for that to be working with player characters Soon(tm). -
Quote:In fairness, they didn't actually screw up walking. An unrelated bug managed to make it's way to the live servers, and they can't undo only half a patch (trust me).'Sfunny, Walk was working but now its not. The Walk icon is grayed out on the characters that already had used Walk, and doesn't exist for characters that had not used it before.
Didn't take 'em long to screw THAT one up....
Also, "didn't take long"? As I said in another thread, I could count on one hand the number of times patches have been pulled from the live servers. For a 5 year old game, that's pretty impressive.
Why yes, I am a fanboy. Thank you for noticing. -

Quote:That wooshing noise is the sound of the joke going straight over your head. Are you guys crazy? If anything they should merge some of the servers so that it's easier to get people involved in things like Rikti Mothership and Hami raids. I'd rather apply the wait and see option until after Rogue comes out though. Maybe it will draw enough people back to the game.

Also, it makes the retcon seem less of, well, a retcon.
-
There are reasons, but I have a sneaking suspicions that the devs didn't come up with any of them. Definitely sounds like a business move, not design end.

bleaaaahhhh.... I knew I shouldn't have clicked on links to spider pictures.

I believe he was thinking of the villain contact Psymon Omega, which has you kill a warshade named Romulus.

Quote:I forgot you need a comment, though they may have just thrown some spaces in there. Good point. If there is no comment, they were giving +rep. -rep requires some comment (some people just put a period).
If the dot is grey, it means their 'rating' (not the same as their rep) is too low to affect yours. The rep you award is based on a combination of your rep, how long you have been registered on the boards and how many posts you have. If you've been around a bit, but have negative rep, you might award zero, for example.
Hah! -
... I just got Grey Rep, with no comment attached to it, for my previous post in this thread. So confused...

Also, there's a spot on the Grandville beaches that allows you to swim in it. Random little pool with a Coralax using a clipboard in it.

Quote:I was going to post some suggestions for what you could possibly do but - OH DEAR GAWD, that.... giant travesty, piece of **** thing masquerading as the anthromorpification of ugly in all its resplendent terror, has convinced me that I don't want to think about it. Ever.
In fact, why don't you PM me your response to this thread, so I don't have to see those damn pictures again. Please?
-
Probably to not confuse new players in the tutorial with too many powers. That's my guess, anyways.

You obviously have no idea how super hard the devs have it. They need 70 humurous lolcats every day, just to deal with all the hardships.
You are obviously a terrible person for complaining, and I shall hate you forever! -
Really? Different from the standard back-peddle? News to me... neat, I guess.
-
Ehh... I guess you could shoe-horn it in that way. What about when Pretoria hits, though?
Anyways, that's not the main reason I wouldn't want American-only holidays in, I just thought I'd make you aware of an incorrect statement you were making. -
Quote:Probably because there's currently no sideways/backwards walking currently in the animations library, and time would have to be spent making them.Soem feedback - not sure if it's intended or not, but when you try and go backwards, it flips you to face that way, so you don't actually walk backwards while still facing the direction you're walking away from.
On that note, I wonder when can we expect the crouch-walk toggle? -
Dude, implementing walking is most likely much easier/faster than fixing the TF bug.

Only part of it is. The entire Rogue Isles are not in America, and neither is the Shadow Shard.
