I simply cannot understand why you would delay getting unstoppable to 49. From 38 all the way to 50 I found unstoppable to be an absolutely priceless power. It saved Liberty Lass more times than I could possibly recall while the amount of times the infamous crash got me killed could be counted on the fingers of one... finger.
Moreover, it is an exhilerating, fun-as-could-be power to use. Nothing makes you feel more truly invulnerable than when the team gets in over its head, other heroes flee or fall and you hit unstoppable... only to be the only person still standing when the dust clears and silence reigns.
I would give unstoppable my highest endorsement. -
If you are tri-form stamina is not essential. If you are going to be spending most of your time in human form stamina will be basically essential. That is just my experience from playing my peacebringer to 34, having tried tri-form and a human/dwarf build.
Prior to ED I toyed with a build on the test server with perma-hasten plus conserve energy six-slotted for recharge, with no stamina. It was just about viable but ED put paid to that idea. -
I got into Paragon City just about as soon as I could after the game was released and shipped half way across the world to where I am currently living. I still play basically every day and still enjoy the game greatly.

Not of great importance, but for the sake of accuracy, Liberty Lass (MA/Invuln scrapper) has the body master ancilliary pool. I apologise if you were given incorrect information.
Also, you may like to add long-time level 50 scrapper Kthulu, dark melee/invuln.
Thanks a lot. -
It was a long time coming, my friend, but richly deserved. Congratulations to a fine tank and a fine player.

It has been fantastic fun the last few weeks and considering how often we have been missioning together it seemed predestined that Liberty Lass and Living Legend would hit 50 in the same mission. Strangely enough, Liberty Lass dinged 50 in exactly the same Nemesis portal mission as Moon Angel.

I can attest to Wilf's troubles. In fact, I once put '/i Stronghold' on a bind, he was disappearing from a team so often.

I would recommend giving invuln a try. My MA/Invuln scrapper is now at level 46 and I have had a blast.
My feelings about invuln have fluctuated during those 46 levels. I loved it early, although the end drain was annoying. As I got into the late 20s and the early 30s I began to notice the set's weakness to energy/elemental damage types. During this phase I really struggled with a Circle of Thorns story arc. However, once I got to the late 30s, got unstoppable and filled in a few gaps with the passives, Liberty Lass became extremely strong again. I would go so far as to say that invulnerability's supposed weakness to non-smashing/lethal is a little overstated in the high levels. Most enemies are still dishing out s/l at least in part, the passives do provide some protection and, with three recharge slotted, I have unstoppable available almost every time I might need it.
Liberty Lass never dies solo, except in some exceptional circumstance such as being surprised by a sapper.
I had a lot of slots available in the 30s and have end reducers in all attacks and all toggles and my build is very end-rich indeed. Liberty Lass does not run out of endurance, despite running temp invuln, unyielding and invincibility.
I have been thinking for a while about respeccing in tough to get s/l res up to 65 per cent, but to be honest I just don't feel I need it enough. That is how comfortable I am with the invuln set at high level.
Hope that helps. -
Stamina is always beneficial but for your proposed power combo even more so than normal.
Super reflexes is known for its endurance sapping toggles; indeed I respecced out focused senses on my MA/SR scrapper, Glimmer, because I was so tired of switching it on and off (especially with its irritating rooted animation). I plan to take it again in the mid to late 20s. With Liberty Lass (MA/Invuln) I have one end reducer in all my attacks. I have found dragon's tail particularly bad for draining endurance. -
Threre are three main things I do when I take a break:
I stand around in Atlas Park chatting to friends and performing sg administration.
Occasionally I will make a fun new hero, an AT and power combination I haven't really tried much, and run it up to level four to see how I like it.
Sometimes I fly around the Hollows, healing and buffing heroes struggling in combat against Trolls and Outcasts. -
My martial arts/invulnerability scrapper is at level 40 and at present I am a little dissatisfied with her defensive capabilities. I am pondering respeccing and incorporating Tough into my build.
According to Hero Builder, with three res and three end red SOs, resistance to smashing and lethal would rise from 49.7 per cent to 67.3 per cent, pretty close to the cap for scrappers.
Implications would be having to drop one of the early MA attacks for boxing, pushing a few lower priority powers one slot later... and endurance.
I am particularly concerned about the extra endurance drain, especially as I am already running three toggles.
Any comments? -
I would say air superiority is the better choice for a scrapper. I almost always choose fly for my heroes. I prefer hover for support heroes (defenders, controllers) and air superiority for melee heroes. Hover really has no role for melee heroes while air superiority provides a handy early filler in the attack chain and useful knockdown.

I would say that focus chi is an extremely beneficial power for the martial arts scrapper. It enables the scrapper to get rid of enemies much quicker, improving efficiency and survivability.
In small battles it usually enables the scrapper to quickly eliminate the biggest threat. In larger battles it may be usable two or three times or more with the obvious benefits. I currently have it three-slotted with recharge. -
Agreed. However, if only it were only psi damage...
I am currently playing a MA/Invuln 'supergirl' scrapper and so far it has been a lot of fun. Over the last week or so I have done the Library of Souls arc against the Circle of Thorns, going up against groups of mobs consisting of one or two fire thorn casters, a behometh master and a few spectral demons. With a nasty stream of non-stop fire and energy damage hitting me I do not feel very invulnerable.
Apart from the endurance issues the inability to get much resistance to elements and energy is a serious matter. -
Congratulations from all your allies in the Liberty Legion, Lokanna.
-
Well, I didn't see this thread until today. Best of luck Bugsy. I look forward to seeing you back in Paragon one day soon.

Richly deserved, Blaze. And great work on adding another 50 to the Legion roster!
-
Already said it on the Liberty Legion boards but I am happy to repeat it here. Congratulations mate. You truly are the rock of the Liberty Legion.

Does it get any more epic than Incandescant Strike?
[/ QUOTE ]
I hear you. From the name to animation to the damage level... it truly is epic.
With my peacebringer, Astra Kane, I took nova immediately at six and had great fun with it. I took dwarf immediately at 20 and had great fun with that too. At about 25 I decided the human powers were too much fun to skimp on and respecced to a human/dwarf build. I absolutely love playing my peacebringer. I have no status protection at all and I don't care. Combat is enormous fun. I get smashed around and stunned and I dish it out better than any of my enemies. Combat in CoH has never been as much fun.
I feel pretty epic. -
Further to the gaps in my earlier post:
Hibernia, Illusion/Rad Controller
Pink Bombshell, Katana/Dark Armour Scrapper -
You may add the following members of the Liberty Legion, who hit 50 within the space of two weeks:
Chieftain, Invuln/SS Tank
Moon Angel, Empathy/Dark Blast Defender
Bluethorn, Invuln/SS Tank
Pink Bombshell, Katana Scrapper
Hibernia, Controller
Lil Lee, Martial Arts/Regen Scrapper
Archan, Claws/Regen Scrapper
Dire Avenger, Empathy Defender
Kid Rock, Stone/Stone Tank
Lightbane, Dark Melee/Regen Scrapper
Demonika, Dark Melee/Dark Armour Scrapper
Where a primary or secondary is missing I am not 100 per cent sure on it and will get back with the missing details as soon as possible.
