Quote:As it happens the MO (Master of) Lambda badges are designed around precisely the opposite condition - on 3 separate runs, you have to collect all the temps without using any, collect the acids only and not use any, and collect all the grenades, again without using any.2) Even better: The gate is simply shut on its own (this assumes badges aren't designed specifically around the opposite condition, which in itself is unnecessary)
So, having them use themselves would break that mechanic (not that I don't think it's broken anyway *shameless plug for the return of the old 'bugged' MOLambda conditions*), so it's not likely to happen. -
Quote:Congratulations! Now, the real question becomes - What will you do with it? You have essentially 3 choices (naturally you have a nearly infinite number of choices, but I think most players will agree that they will be variations on the following three):This morning I am 600,000,000 richer! Woot! (I know, it ain't much to some of you crazies, but that represents 1/10 of my total wealth across all characters now!)
1. Hoard it! - If you think having large amounts of inf is 'cool', and want to remember this day for ever and ever, then simply do nothing at all, and smile upon seeing all those zeroes each time you log in.
2. Spend it! - this is what the majority of players in your position will do (not saying you should - see choice #3) - find some shiny you want, buy the sucker, and go back to the poorness until your next lucky drop.
3. Invest it! - this is what the 'Ebil Marketeers' before you have done - find something you can buy cheaply and either resell for a profit, or craft and resell for a profit. Do this enough times, and 600 mil will seem like small change for you too!
Good luck! -
Quote:Not entirely accurate - it has been proven that the qualifier for receiving A-merits from the SSA is the presence of either the morality power or countdown to morality power on the character. So, simply running the morality mission to turn Hero/Villain would be sufficient - running again to confirm would not be necessaryNote specifically Rogues and Vigilantes cannot earn them. They would need to run the 10 tips and Morality to become Hero or Villain and then a further 10 and a Morality mission to confirm their new alignment.
Note also if you change alignment any unspent A-Merits will be lost. -
It occurs to me in reading this thread, that one of the major worries we all had in CoX going F2P was all the free players trolling us...while some of that has indeed happened (thank you Help channel!), it's threads like this that give us all a heartwarming reminder that paying customers can be trolls too.
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside -

fair enough...just not used to seeing that form of the link, and very used to seeing folks on that old wikia site

Quote:*this* is actually an old wiki that hasn't been updated in I think a few years now...if your link doesn't say paragonwiki, it's time to delete it
Edit: Please ignore this post - it is utter rubbish...I was wrong...move along -
Quote:Color me impressed - and here I was getting ready to report this thread for RMT tradingYeah I want to do in-game trades though, for items or inf for the codes.
I just might be interested in trading for one of those codes - sent me a PM or ingame tell and let me know what you'd be willing to accept -
I run an up-and-coming Heavy-RP SG Redside...mature themes, demonic overtones...send me a tell, we'll do lunch

I recommend running Trials rather than collecting shards for your Tier 1 and Tier 2 alpha - it's far easier and quicker to collect enough threads and thread-based salvage to make those than shards and shard-based salvage. YMMV
-
5 - one at start, 1 for each tailor mission at lvl 20, 30, and 40, and 1 for Halloween event salvage - basically if it says unlock in game, you can do just that
Yes, they could have up to 5 more if they're willing to buy slots from the market...but then the account wouldn't be Free anymore...it would be Premium -

one thing I've recently noticed intermittently, is that the editor will show a charge for a change in Scales when I load a saved costume, even though I never change the Scales on any of my outfits.
Scales is on the right side of the editor and easy to miss, and may explain some of the discrepancies you've been noticing - clicking the revert button next to Scales removes the extra charge if this is what you're seeing, thankfully -
Quote:In all seriousness, I have to agree with this sentiment. I don't run the insane amount of trials I used to, but when I do, my focus is on stacking large numbers of Astrals in the shortest time possible, and not sweating the small stuff. Yes, it's nice getting extra astrals, which is why I attempt both zero escapes and Strong and Pretty (with little success) on every BAF run - but I never do more then shrug when either is missedI wound up with 4 emps and close to thirty astrals not to mention the threads and comonents.. I dont rercall caring a bit that 1 or 2 prisoners escaped.

Quote:To see/alter the effects of Boosters in Mids, press the + or - key while placing the enhancement...each + adds a booster, each - takes one away.Okay, I'm squeezing my new Brute build for every stinking drop of power I can grab out of it.
Are you saying I could level shift just one or two level 50 LOTG Defense (I have them in CJ and Tough hide for instance, and milk some more defense? (At the expense of throwing the enhancers away for anyone but this character. And is there a way to see in mids what that bonus would be?
Also, if you add it to a Res/End tha I have in reactive's, that boosts both sides of that 2.5%/2.5%?
Hope that helps! -
Quote:Well, I'm sure if you refer to them as Meatbags, I'm quite certain they'll understand it's just ICSo I have character who isn't invulnerable by any stretch of the word. But he thinks he is. He has a god complex. That's just how I intended him to be. He's a machine who looks down on organic life as weak and doomed to extinction. So I acted like how he would act if he was meeting someone for the first time. I wouldn't say he's a jerk. He just speaks with high regard for himself and low regard for those around him, specifically organics.
Well, I was roleplaying with some peeps and I couldn't help but get a hint that they were kind of getting annoyed by the character's attitude. I'm not constantly doing this and this was me just getting to know another player. Is it somehow wrong to do this?
P.S: I wasn't god-moding or anything of that nature. -
Quote:Of course, by having the command execute on both the press and release of the key, you lose the functionality of toggling Sprint on and off, as it will toggle it on when you press, and off when you releaseTo double the efficiency of that bind, add +$$
/bind v "powexec_toggleoff Rocket Board$$powexec_name Sprint$$powexec_toggleon Combat Jumping"
becomes
/bind v "+$$powexec_toggleoff Rocket Board$$powexec_name Sprint$$powexec_toggleon Combat Jumping"
Then you activate a command at the depress of the key and at the release of the key.
I use the old fashioned +down$$-down$$ but I don't think that's necessary any more. I think the +$$ still works -
Quote:Each of the Alpha Slot enhancements actually has 2 recipes now (with the exception of Tier 4, but that's a whole different topic). The first takes shard-based components, but if you scroll down, you'll see the second recipe takes thread-based components. So, for purposes of the Alpha slot, those TF's you are dreading are no longer required. And while the new format and direction for Trials is great, there are still few of them, leaving me dreading the TFs I will need to run to finish out my currently-commonly-slotted-alpha.

My personal method is to send the amount over 2 Bil (Example: 2.25 Bil = 250 Mil) via e-mail first, then trade the 2 Bil in person for the shiny. This way I only get screwed for the small piece of the pie if it goes south, which I can make back in a couple hours of farming after I've finished letting everyone else know not to trade with the person

I've got a relatively new RPVG that's certainly recruiting, called Fantasia Diabolique - look me up or e-mail me ingame @Mistress Rue - you are hereby warned in advance we are somewhat adult-oriented and demonically themed

Quote:Rogues can also obtain a radio from your friendly neighborhood detective, and do radio missions bluesideAs a Rogue you can start most hero task forces (provided you have met their requirements), otherwise teaming and tips are your only options for missions hero-side until you go full hero.
