    I don't think it's possible, but it would defenitely be interesting.

    The PD's should be able to field 1 team, maybe 2. We might even level some villains up for this, but that will take a while
  2. Both your characters have their uses against this MM I think. You claws/regen has the benefit of range, although i'm not sure how long the range actually is. Force Bubble has a 50 yard radius, so you'll have to use attacks that are longer range than that, if claws has those.

    Your invul Brute has repel resistance, so you're easily able to run right through the force bubble and hit him.

    Which brings us to PFF. I suggest, lots of acc insps, build up and hit him.

    One thing to watch out for. Detention field. It's an unresistable semi-hold. You won't be able to attack at all, but can't be attacked either. That's a Bubblers survival tool/second panic button.

    Why? Blasters hit friggin' hard and don't need hide to do it. If a stalker doesn't have the benefit of hide, there isn't really much he can do against a skilled blaster. I'm surprised you haven't seen this happen before. Stalkers get destroyed by Blasters all the time.

    I saw the first 2 fights in this tourney which both featured villains/hero fights. To me it seems that right now Heroes are lightyears ahead of Villains in regards to PVP experience, Powerset Knowledge and Teamwork. Let's hope the Villains will catch up to them or else PVP will get really boring real quick.

    ps. to all Bubble MM's... know your limits. Force Bubble is handy, but an Invul Tank will run right through and one shot you. Don't just stand there and take it. Move around.... and drop Detention Field on him. I understand they hate that.

    ok, you might want to look into getting that as well. Aim is a very handy tool for blasters. Not only will it greatly boost your accuracy, it will also give you 2 SO's worth of extra damage. If you combine it with build up, you will hit extremely hard.

  7. Ice Tanks seem pretty damn cool to me. Sure, they seem a bit more squishy with them being defense based and not resistance base, but they make up for that with having 2 self heals in Hoarfrost and Hibernate. That should make them like the regen scrappers of Tanks really. Also, when defense scaling comes into play, this should add more to their survivability.

    I think the problem most Tanks have nowadays is keeping Aggro in PVE, it seems like it's pretty much impossible for them. I'd go as far as to say that players have adjusted to this and don't really rely on tanks for aggro management anymore(controllers mostly now). Good old Statesman doesn't want you tanking anything bigger than 3 mobs I guess.

    That said though, Chilling Embrace just rocks. Slot it with Taunt for PVE and Slows for PVP and you should be better off than most tanks trying to control aggro.

    Even though this guide is for PVP based tanks, it should give you some info about the set in general as well. Apparantly in the US, Ice Tanks are the number 1 Stalker Nemesis. Take that AR/Devices Blasters

    If you can play as a Tank in PVP, than PVE should be no problem. I don't see why a PVP build wouldn't work in PVE for Tanks. I don't even think a Tank should need a different build for PVP than for PVE.

    as a bubbler, we're pretty damn vulnerable to ranged attacks. But I do agree with the amount of buffs we had on our team that it was pretty much impossible to kill us. I think we only had 2 blaster for damage, backed up by 6 support characters. That's pretty damn hard to hit through.

    ps, my bubbler is built for maximum annoyance. I'd say it works quite well.
  10. The PA dropping team is very critical. One of the reasons we did so well last time is because we had lots of PA to take away aggro from the rest of the guys. So any of you guys that was on the PA team, we really need you there.

    Movement is tactics. Just standing there and taking hits is bad tactics, especially if you're a squishy. The best way to avoid hits is to move around, or as you call it "running away" and attack when ít's best suited to you.

    If we didn't move around we would be as dumb as the NPC's in this game.

    Why accuracy? Don't you use aim+build up before dropping your nuke?

    Anyways, I've slotted my Inferno 3 dam, 1 recharge. With hasten it's up most of the times, when i need it.

    Thunderous Blast is a bit different though as it's ranged. I'd probably slot it 3 dam, 2 recharge and 1 range for PVP fights. Might be good in PVE as well.

    I think we also need to focus more on team PVP as solo PVP clearly is not suited for everyone. The most fun I've had in PVP has always been in a team. Same as in PVE really.

    Yeah they do. I've seen them standing around in teams doing nothing. Sometimes it looks like they might be dropping a buff, but nothing ever appears. Also, they refuse to heal me, those bastards!!!

  19. aim + build up + fireball + nuke + 2/3 CABs.... next mob.. Fireball + Firebreath... finish up with some melee attacks. Everything Dead. The end.

    Just Hurricane should be sufficient for that, although going against purples, it's not recommended. Those guys hit pretty damn hard

    I'd never run whirlwind and hurricane simultaneously apart for the looks, whirlwind drains endurance much faster than a stormie can afford and provides nothing that hurricane doesn't.

    Yeah, I don't know what they did to prevent perma holding to be honest. I'm not really sure it's working though . Besides, you don't really need to perma hold, just long enough to get a kill.

    Also, Max is right(don't you dare put this in your sig), Hurricane + Whirlwind = no endurance. Also the effects don't stack as they really don't do the same thing.

    No idea what this means either to be honest. I am not aware of any 1337 Bloody Bay Fight Club happening where you can be black listed from. But then again... Those that are in Fight Club are not allowed to talk about Fight Club i guess

    Seriously though, I wouldn't worry about it. Just enjoy yourself. People that try to inflict a set of rules on a rules free zone, usually do it to increase their own fun and not necessarily anybody elses.
