To be fair, it didn't help when half Team Everyone Else kinda quit midway through the match. Still, it was a good show! Can't wait to try it again.
The tournament was also good, shame I drew Freon in the second round, though.
I think by that point Team Everyone Else had decided that we didn't stand a chance....we didn't - as pointed out you need a specific set of powers to counter the bubblers in the PDs which we just plain didn't have.

To be fair, the amount of support we had flying around, even if you could negate Force Bubble you'd have a hard time.
It's amazing to think that there was a team when Empathy and Force Field were considered useless in PvP by the majority of players.

as a bubbler, we're pretty damn vulnerable to ranged attacks. But I do agree with the amount of buffs we had on our team that it was pretty much impossible to kill us. I think we only had 2 blaster for damage, backed up by 6 support characters. That's pretty damn hard to hit through.
ps, my bubbler is built for maximum annoyance. I'd say it works quite well.

Having got back into PvP (with Entrino last night in SC) I'm sorry I missed the chance for a one on one event in the Arena. Shall look forward to the next one (if I can kick my son off Union with his pesky blaster).

Specifically Bubblers are vulnerable to ranged attacks that drop toggles....as a radiation/electric defender I DON'T HAVE ANY! Toggle dropping is something that happens to me rather than something I do to other people.
Or ranged attacks that do damage.
Bubblers are the blappers-bane.

Name some ranged 'attacks' (not holds) that drop toggles.. Afaik only stalkers may have them, but im not sure.

Storm Cloud from the storm set drops toggles, but I'm not sure if that counts as a ranged attack or not. Oh, and most of the KB powers from FF (except force bubble) have a pretty good chance to toggledrop as well.

Hey.. im not a big PvP player at the moment .. and i knew you was gonna kill me.. EVERYONE DOES =P
I was hoping the regens would run... at me... not away from me. =( Had the BS one do the Link 'CYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAARGH' forward leap thing at me, that was mad! Couldn't actually drop anything though.
Time for another one of my fortnightly Arena PvP sessions. Hopefully most people know the drill by now. We meet up at the arena and hold a tournament for the bragging rights of being able to say you won.
The tournament will be held on 22nd April at Galaxy City Arena at 2.30pm
