  4. Haha! I remember mob stacking with no taunt limit. Jab, punch, haymaker, KOB hitting the 300 or so mobs in the stack. That was awesome. I miss those days.

    Going Rogue has totaly revived not only the game but PVP. We have nothing to fear! PVP is well on the rebound and the ladder is going to be a smashing success.

    Not to mention, now that GR is out, the fine developers of this exemplary game will (I am sure) commit their entire resources to fine tuning PVP to make it even better than it has ever been. A true marriage of i12 and i13 PVP is on the way.

    All we have to do is sit back and enjoy the inevitable and current "awesome" that is known as COX PVP.

  8. If they were able to get PPP powers then the devs would most likely keep it to human form otherwise it'd be a nightmare coming up with new animations for squid and dwarf. Still gloom would be sweet.

Determining whether a player is fleeing from a fair fight would be tricky: a lone corruptor running away from six blasters is not cowardice. Similarly, six blasters ganking a lone corruptor should reduce the rep of all the blasters involved because it's not a fair fight. If you lose rep in a fight, you have no chance for a PvP recipe drop.

    In short, PvP should be made more like a boxing match rather than an assassination. By providing in-game motivations to abide by a certain code of conduct, PvP could be a lot more fair, fun and engaging, at the same time being much more like the rollicking fights you see in the comics and movies.

    Oh mai gad! Do you even PVP in this game? Seriously. Not only are these completely horrible ideas but the amount of work spent implementing such nonsense would be much better suited to addressing the ACTUAL issues with PVP.

    I like fightclub as much as the next person but leave that in the cage with the melee types. I don't understand this "I couldn't defeat you so change the game to make it easier for me" mentality.

    Try PVPing and learning the ins and outs before posting this kind of stuff. Yikes!

    His first sentence is kinda true when it comes to arena PVP. You'll see alot more blasters and emps than enything else.

    The rest of it makes me think he has a best friend and it's a small, burnt, glass pipe.

    It's easy to ignore people's chat in this game. If you let them get to you that's your fault.

    The only thing that matters is the match. Win it if you can and if you can't, figure out what you need to improve on and win next time.

    If you have to PVP with a HEAT go with a PB. They have alot of survivability and versatility. WS are plain horrible in PVP.
  18. I'll keep this going on Freedom and give that 500 million influence to any brute, tank or scrapper who wins against my scrapper in a 10 minute duel (highest kill count wins, not counting sudden death.)

    Inspirations and accolades allowed, no travel suppresion, no heal decay, on cage map.

    Shoot me a tell or email in game. I'll put the cash up for grabs this weekend. If no one wins then I'll keep it for myself.
