Thanks for the input, I decided to take it in the teaming build after much thought. I figured even with the patch being so small I could get some use out of it, as there is usually a controller or 5 around. I skipped beanbag instead as I find I dont use it much on big teams.

I took the Frostie epic I figured I could stack the meagre defence I have with the armour. Plus with Hoardfrost and Hibernate I can put brawl on auto and run into melee pretending to be a Ice Tank.

I need some opinions on ignite, Im respeccing an old character and I can't decide whether to keep it or not. Its for a teaming build so its likely there will be some sort of aoe control power other than my crappy caltrops.

It takes so long to recharge these days I thought it might be more productive to skip it and take an epic power for the first time in 3 years instead.

I made a FF/Rad, currently at the dizzy heights of level 4. So far I've Self Destructed twice, joined an SG from a blind invite and humped Miss Liberty.

How bad is it? Am I likely to die of boredom by level 5?

The reason Im asking is I want to play as the Starship Uber Biscuit and do the whole shields up, pew pew pew thing.

I was thinking of Sonic/ too but then I wouldn't have access to PFF

Yes it can and I find it works very nicely. I solo mostly with my AR/DEV doing those Firebase missions and I find its an excellent way of taking out Bosses after a healthy application of Taser + Beanbag.

If you are on a large team I tend to find that while you have taken your time to immob and stun someone, a team mate has already made him eat dirt. Its still useful for taking on AV's though except infernal, as most of them don't seem that difficult to immobilise.

I cant one shot them with a fully Defianced Blazing Blot anymore that WTH??? reaction was always funny . Ah well back to the old Tp on to mines tactic, though that isnt half as much fun.
