    Had seen the game in the shops and was tempted but mate got it and I used his buddy code. He didn't last long but I somehow bumped into a great lot of players/friends and the rest they say is history.

    I like to know roughly how much accuracy you would need to overcome certain percentages e.g. if someone had 30% defence what kind of accuracy would you be needing to hit regularly. I know increasing to hit is the way to go but fairly limited in that department.

    Been flying through various TF's of late with a mixture of luck on random TF rolls. Last one worth around 55 mil so can't complain too much.

    We also been implementing a voluntary forfeit scheme/system so if you see anyone in EVIL with some bright colours such as pink and yellow its because they died first on one of our forfeit SF/TF's

    If anyone else can think of a good forfeit for first death let me know. We have already come up with some good ones and I suppose the postive effect is it takes atleast the 2nd mission of a SF for someone to die lol.

    Its been nice seeing some old players returning as well as some new blood .

    This Saturday 21/02/09 at around 16:00 we will be doing the Virgil Tarikoss Strike Force. The level requirement for this SF is 15-20 and gives the badge "binder of the beasts". I imagine it shouldn't take long, maybe around an hour and a half.

    If you interested just sign up to it on our forum (click me). Its better than letting me know in game as I will probably forget .

    Yeah you are right. I haven't done a base raid with diminishing returns but if base raids have the same rules (its possible that it might not as they are looking into everything) then after 4 insights it's not really worth it. I'm not sure how much it would improve your chance to hit (prob 1 in 4) but I imagine can still take someone down if everyone trying to gank them.

    True but in a base raid you cant buy new insp all the time.
    What bothers me is that you can just ingnore all defenses of a base and run into the rooms with the objectives, and those rooms normally cant hold much defense items.
    Well all phase powers can do that tbh.

    It takes less than 30 seconds to top up with inspirations again. The defenders also have access to unlimited amount of inspirations and can just pop 20 insights to rip apart that PFF .

    Pop PFF, scout the whole base and just run to the objectives without anyone able to stop you.

  9. First question is easy enough and I can answer that. Yes your proc will scale to your level so will do lower damage at lv 20 than at lv 50.
  10. Easy win for the thermal, it wouldn't even have to be elec.

    Not much will beat a decent thermal especially as you don't have to worry about being mez'd .

    I know it was late last night the pvp fight we were having but I was holding them longbow mobs with no issues unlike in the past (admittedly most of the time I had domination up but was still the case when I didn't) ...
  12. Unless I imagined it I thought they had been nerfed back to what they should be e.g. only takes one hold application to mez a Minion/Lieutenant.

    I did have a look for some patch notes but can't find any but I am sure that I am right.

    Re-read what you have just said because I think you have just answered it for yourself.

    So you can't attack, be attacked or buff/heal without movement suppression coming into affect.

    What most of the old pvp'ers (well whats left of them), I believe they miss is the fluidity and fast paced nature/action of the old pvp. This is what makes the movement suppression frustrating. Any attempt to do anything results in you moving like a snail. Something is/was needed to enable melee classes to be more effective but the changes made have made pvp less fun. Its not people throwing there dummies out of the pram that they characters have been nerfed (well maybe a few). Its the pvp is no longer fun for the vast majority in its current inclination.

    A lot being said but surely this is the biggest give-away and most incorrect statement. I must be on the wrong server as no way is there more pvp than before.

    Oh and my two pence worth, NW/Forts were over powered preI13 and not much has really changed. They still pwn but have less things to worry about .
  16. Not noticed any difference with my 2 x Nvidea 7900's in SLI although looking to perhaps get a nVidia GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB PCI-E. That would be better right?

    I just logged onto one of my hero's (rare for me to do these days) and noticed Gribster had logged on just over a month ago. I assumed they popped on due to the free activation weekend.

    There is only a bit of inactivity in Guardians of Paragon with Finster leading the way at 1280 days inactive .

  24. I see a familiar pattern here of names. I guess that is slightly explained by the villain community being quite tight with everyone knowing each other.

    I guess take for granted that I have got to team and chat with the majority of people mentioned here. All I know is it has been a pleasure teaming/knowing such great people and its villain side where its at .
