Ahh dammit, was hoping you would find a space for a toon on union. Im still to scared to venture to the darkside that is deviant, I mean defiant.

I suppose I could always level up S4 Union Champion with you (was a great spy, no one noticed or said anything to him)

Wow - not a single reply! I too would be interested in any help/advise for this build. Ive got a level 17/18 fire/energy blaster that I took out for a spin (created him yonks and yonks ago as part of sg concept that died). However, I am not to sure myself on whats any good and possible slotting. Would be interested to know whether fire breath is worth slotting up or should I save it for maybe more damage potential powers. Hopefully some experienced blasters or those in the know will be kind enough to enlighten us .

Well you eventually have to - only so much you can spend your prestige on( theres not much else you can do with limited plot size). What we did was create our lovely powerful energy supply with the salvage and then it was just the case of saving up for a plot upgrade and room upgrade.

Ahhhhhhhhh I hate early morning badge hunting. Ive got no chance as I tend to enjoy a slight lay in.

You know I would always lend a hand dude. Looks like beaten to the punch though. Guess I save that 100k for a new cossie.

I still think my suggestion of all the pvpers quitting there existing sgs and joining E.V.I.L. was a great idea

Im not aware of any way around it apart from having separate mini teams. Although thinking about it the only other option would be to hold it on the test server and form 2 different sgs.

Would be good to have some sort of bigger mass battle option though.

Dont know majority of answers but I get the ball rolling.

3) Pretty much yes. Most hero teams will spot you without it but it can be good practise. I dont know about defiant but there are stalker hunters on union. They can see me with my stacked stealth (have to be in a close proximity) but can still get them if quick enough.

4) I say its a good set. The entropy shield can be nice and handy (prevents you being teleported). The only one that can heal (afaik) is regeneration.

6) That is correct. By collecting 6k bounty in sirens call you get a single origin of your choice which is +3 to your level. Its how I got most of my enhancements

7) I suppose this really depends on the person and the AT. I myself have it on ruthless. I can solo but much prefer teaming.

8) Well im union based so dont know this answer either. However you really dont need a stalker orientated sg. Im sure anyone would really do with just a couple of stalkers in it (most would have afew in an average size sg) so you can ask afew questions etc.

The only thing about stalkers is I found them quite slow to level early on as seemed abit weak. This is when teaming with your sg (or whoever) will help. Once you have gained afew levels and have afew of the must have powers such as Hide, AS, Placate etc you be a killing machine.

Gutts is a level 40 Spines/SR. In terms of build he is pratically there. Just needs abit of fine tuning (i dont want to waste my 2nd respec) to make him a pure killing machine.

I am also starting to collect magic salvage so I can atleast trade with ppl for there tech salvage.

When there was talk of a community kind of S4 I got afew people from my sg interested and we were gonna form a villain pentad team.

Im also sure that if it came to a big battle heros would win. But hey thats just my opinion from my observations (cant be bothered to explain why). I be up for some more pentad fun. Depending at what type of lvs you would be looking for I have a choice of 3 - Dom, Stalker, Corruptor.

One of the issues I have is that as the supergroup is normally full those that aren't contributing are denying someone who potentially will.

Im not the only one with a prestige addiction. Violaters leader is close to his 4th lv 40 (doesn't switch out of sg mode).

Ive mentioned this before as am in the same boat. My character on test handles alot better and smoothly than the one on live.

I think at some stage they will be implemented onto test (I guess when everyone has got it working etc).

...was duoing with someone last night and they started asking me what the point of being in an SG was (and I noticed they were in E.V.I.L). Replied that a good SG rocks - good teams/chat etc, with bases as a bonus. They were a bit less then happy, because since joining E.V.I.L. they found the only difference it made to their game was that they were constantly sent tells telling them to be in SG mode. Since they were level 31 they were really concerned that this would mean they would not have enough inf to buy enhancements, and this was spoiling their game and they were thinking of quitting.

You may want to explain to new members that if they stay in SG mode you will channel them some Inf from your high levels so they can afford to upgrade when necessary (I hope you do this ). Oh, and maybe invite them to some teams as well

For some reason that person has kept rather quite. I hardly ever see them chatting in sg chat. Ive tried to explain to them on numberous occaisions the deal with sg mode and how it is possible (and not expectant that you stay in it constantly) but up until my request last nite it had been ignored. Buying enhancments is always ongoing (till you reached your max lv) and so if you dont think you can afford to be in prestige mode when you are in your 20's (im saving up for my next batch) then you probably never will.

To me you have to show willing. I think the lack of call up to teams etc was probably because people noticed that they were not doing anything for the sg. Not gaining any prestige, not turning up to any events. So any spaces went to those people who are more involved. Also most of the sg would use sg/coalition chat and ask if anyone has got room or if they need help (not seen the person in question do this).

Anyway, cheers for the heads up. Im guessing they probably leave shortly anyway as get the feeling we perhaps not the right sg for them. As mentioned above they've kept themselves to themselves (probably scared of all the mad people in the sg) so probably dont feel a part of the sg - No Hi's or byes etc when on.

I wouldnt start PvPing until atleast level 22. You will need Single Origins. AS (with dual enhancments) will not kill your target and you've not really got many other attacks to use which would finish them off. All that would happen is they legged it or kill you (depending on the enemy).

I think the problem is the squishyness of them. I have both a corruptor and a dominator and they both get creamed due to being one of the first targets go for (note not all doms/corruptors are that squishy). Because of this it puts alot of people off as its not fun being killed all the time.

Well should perhaps have used coalition chat - atleast that way would notice. Got coalitions with majority of the active sgs.

Well next time should be abit smoother anyway.
