When there was talk of a community kind of S4 I got afew people from my sg interested and we were gonna form a villain pentad team.
Im also sure that if it came to a big battle heros would win. But hey thats just my opinion from my observations (cant be bothered to explain why). I be up for some more pentad fun. Depending at what type of lvs you would be looking for I have a choice of 3 - Dom, Stalker, Corruptor.

im not convinced at all max. I reckon villains stand an excellent chance.
i'd be up for this although think my mm wud get owned in pentad but wud be interesting to see how it works out

maybe ill have a stalker or corruptor at 50 later on but dunno about that

Same, they have a few problems with doms and brutes cause of their bad inheirents, well not bad they just dont work in PvP.

Villains will be foiled in pentads, because of a couple of key points... Dominators will never have Domination ready to fire off plus Masterminds need 45 seconds or so pre-L32 (3x Summons, 6x L1 Upgrade) or 3mins or so post-L32 to be up to full power (3x Summons, 6x L1 Upgrade, 6x L2 Upgrade). Brutes, Corruptors and Stalkers are good form the get-go though.
To even the score, I'd say that in arena matches, Masterminds should start out fully buffed on summoning (perhaps limited to a time period post-respawn so they can't pull out full hences mid-battle) and Dominators start with half their Domination bar full.
That'll bring things on par with heroes. Wouldn't advocate these changes in PvP Zones though - you have safe zones there to do your pre-battle prep (well, maybe give a half bar of Domination to Dominators).
Dark Mastermind with Shadow Fall would have an advantage then as the heroes wouldn't necessarily be able to see them while they summon and buff.
Must time myself setting up my pets soon, can normally get them all summoned with the 1st buff on all of them and the second on my assault bot and one protector before I get bored and can buff the others as and when it recharges.
Not sure about the other MM's but the buffs/debuffs in dark can really cripple heroes. In fact I know an elec blaster who was not expecting the level of defense shadow fall granted me and after two missed attacks suffered for his reluctance to flee.

I don't think this is a real solution to the problem for Dominators, to be honest. If the match goes on for longer than 5 minutes, then the Dom still suffers the same problem without the token gesture. I do have a few thoughts about the issue, I'll post them on the Dom board when I'm satisfied I've covered as many angles as I can.

I'm up for it with my Mind/Energy Dom. I realise Doms are a bit underwhelming in PvP, but at least he's got TK and a few toggle droppers. Maybe I7 will bring some much needed Dominator loving. Phwoar!

mine is mercs/dark, as my mercs are all ranged im hoping to get group fly after respec so i can just bomb and debuff ppl from range, not sure how it'll work tho, will test it out on test after respec

Gutts is a level 40 Spines/SR. In terms of build he is pratically there. Just needs abit of fine tuning (i dont want to waste my 2nd respec) to make him a pure killing machine.

well loads turned up for the first large scale event. It was a damn shame that there no way to get the arena to accept it!
With i7 approaching, with it comes villains reaching 50. Im yet to try any villains pentad, and i think before any future tourneys are held, it would be nice to get some numbers, to see the interest in villains teams.
So first off who would be interested?
We would be playing on test to maximise potential battles.
Once the potential numbers are in, I will arrange some matches.
C'mon villains, it's time to show the heroes who runs this planet!
