I dont think you getting many members staying around if they weren't even allowed to go in your base (excluding the base kicking bug which for a time had the same affect ).

I too have my own little base (ok its not quite little) as one of the overlords of E.V.I.L.

Currently about 5/6 have base access (those with high rankings and those I trust) although I have given people temporary access in the past to have a little play around.

Of course the majority don't have base access although funny enough those I have asked don't seem that interested in it. I feel if you are going to run a successful supergroup (that is interested in pvp) then it really has to be this way. One of the reasons is fundamentally design. I know our base is strategically designed and if everyone had access then bits and bobs would be changed and moved. Yes things would look prettier but that wasn't the goal. Everyone has different ideas and styles so if left to there own devices would be a mish mash or start a few arguments. Someone spends a couple hours designing the base only for someone else to change loads of it later that day.

However in our alt supergroup those from E.V.I.L. are given a rank where they can play around with the base. This means it is less costly as in if they accidentally do something wrong say delete a room with personal salvage I wont be crying as it wouldn't be too costly.

I understand where you are coming from in that everyone should get a chance to play with base access and have there own little room but think it be a while until the devs sort something out like that.

Seems I have missed loads of fun. Fortunatly back for double xp weekend but have found my lovely big monitor has died whilst away (brother couldnt help but take advantage) which means I have to play on a tiny 19 inch monitor (alas the dark ages ).

Glad things are covered in my absence. Holiday going well, body is aching though due to unfitness. Only had a couple of major crashes (I class a major crash when my hat and sunglasses come off.

I think leaders vs others might be a good one. Im sure some of the bigger supergroups can form up some sort of team but we dont really want to exclude people. The purpose of this is not for bragging rights but just to have some fun and get more people interested into pvp.

I try and get a team going tonight some time (around 7ish). I have been really busy of late too and will be on a holiday come saturday for 11 nights.

Hopefully you lot wont level up too much in that time as dont want to be left behind. Have to remind people to make sure that the Superteam channel is added to there alts because has been quiet of late and thats probably because some people are missing the superteam chat.

Well off to Canada this Saturday morning so wont be on for just under 2 weeks (scary). Hopefully everything will be fine, Thermatron will be in charge but I prob bump a couple more people up a rank just incase anything happens. Please dont try to overthrow poor thermy, remember its not his fault he's not as great as me .

I know the game as a whole has been quiet and sadly quite afew people have been inactive in EVIL for abit now. Will be having a clear out very shortly and thus will have some spaces for anyone that feels they will be able to contribute. We dont have any real limits on who can join, just ask that you stay active (e.g. just dont leave the character gathering dust) and have a sense of humour then should get on fine.

Its probably not the best time to recruit when I wont be around to answer any questions etc but I dont want EVIL to become a ghost town like so many other supergroups. I am sure the EVIL hierachy will be able to cope fine without me - if anyone does have any questions then point them to this guide we have created - EVIL Bible

Sounds like you guys are gonna have fun. When you are up and running, wouldnt mind giving you afew fights. Your hit squad vs OMGPWNAGE! Our team is in its late teens, early 20s so loads of time for you to catch up.

Crashing still happening, done it to me 3 times last night on union sirens before I called it a night.

Maybe true. I think the problem is people wont stick around. On union there was just one scrapper (late night), so thought before I left I try and kill them. Had a couple good fights and more and more people kept coming in until turned into a full scale war .

I suppose its all luck of the draw and whose about. As soon as afew more heroes came in I called in some villain reinforcements which then resulted in the heroes having to do the same. Maybe its just word of mouth travels faster on union then defiant.

I've never had stamina on my mind/psi and have no end problems unless I run into a player built as a sapper.

TBH both suck I play on Union meself and you can always get a duel any night of the week if thats your thing. As far as team PvP goes the main PvP SGs on each server cant get a match on their own server so have to meet each other on test. You will always get part-time PvP SGs playing arena but this is more a closed shop sort of thing. The zones on Union can be fun but I find it always hero heavy.

Cant comment about defiant but on union I think one of the problems is no one seems to want to organise anything. It has been awhile since there has been any regular arena pvp fighting. Zone wise it can get quite busy in sirens/warburg. I have to say the quality isnt too bad and I dont have any problems getting in teams for fighting. For me seems quite mix, sometimes lots of villains, sometimes lots of heroes - I dont think one over dominates the zone.

There isnt really many pvp sgs that challenge each other. I think if people want more pvp fights then they need to mix the teams up abit and make do with whats around. There used to be quite abit of pvp on union villains but a number of big sgs have fallen or gone in decline (coupled with the various bugs for base raids and arena) have resulted in a lot less.

Villain pvp wise there are a number of groups which dabble in pvp though most of the time it seems to be zone base (due to its simplistic nature of not having to organise much).

As mentioned I play on union. From the various posts I have read in the past such as lack of variety and teaming I would recommend union over defiant. However, I am sure you be fine either way.

Yeah but for me base raids are a much easier way of introducing more people to pvp. It is also nice to see the base doing something other then just looking pretty.

Yeah I really miss them too. Arena PvP on union is pretty much quiet these days too although zone pvp can be pretty good. A lot of the big supergroups (villain side) have gone freefall or died meaning a lot less opportunities for pvp.

However, one of the reasons I would attribute to less arena pvp is its filled with bloody bugs. What is the point of setting up a massive fight when it kicks you out? Base raids are amazingly even worse and pretty much unplayable.

Nice to hear ya still alive. Been having some internet problems so not been on to much. Just bought a new router and things seem to be working (hence the post).

When I did get on noticed how quiet the game was. Hopefully its picked up a bit now. You may notice that the base has changed abit more but its getting there. I apologise for my lazyness on our hospital, had to delete the old one and couldnt be bothered to redesign new one. Just chucked in the auto doc and rez machines etc.

Ive got Disgaea 2 so its great back up if the game decides to crash me and not let me get back on. Awesome game (only one that has made me want to play something else).

I check tomorrow as not looked in my salvage bit but its probably because on ruthless/relentless (also normally 8 man team) so get much more bosses which I would imagine drop salvage more often.

Got my staff xmas pressie so be unable to attend. Im sure some from EVIL will be there though.
