No, nothing really to tell. Everyone was pretty shy at the table.
[/ QUOTE ]
I had to almost pull teeth to get the names of those at the Liberty Table. They didn't seem like talking so I walked off...
Should have paid Victory or Guardian a visit... but instead I went back and hung with Robo_Bug and Maud_Dib a bit...
Wait. Was there a point to wait I was saying?

Guess I've been lucky then... or unpopular enough. -

. But 9/10ths of the time, the poses they want? Are SO. FREAKING. BORING. And I end up spending the entire piece wishing they'd just told me to have fun with it.
[/ QUOTE ]
So... what do you consider an exciting pose?

just as an fyi (and this is my fault) the irregular pentad on the 30th was canceled, unfortunatly I don't have a way to take something off of the calendar, just add it.

It happens... when I compile the events for the next couple weeks, I usually don't dig through all of the threads to find out the current state of things. Its also why reoccurring events aren't listed, as they may no longer be valid and it can be quite the scramble to PM all the posters and hope they get back to us in time.
I haven't been able to figure out a better way to do it without a lot of events getting lost and/or adding work for event posters and collectors... -

Spork, bug, teddybear, cheeseburger.. it doesn't matter what it is, it just ends up being a line or two before I just can't focus on it anymore and nothing happens.

Ok.. start with triangles then...

Yeah, I'm no help.

Wow! That's awesome! He does great work, though... it shouldn't be a surprise...

My historical exhibit
Note the lack of badges, tabs, globals, additional windows (1, 2, 3, & 4), the old Discipline & Iron Will inspirations, no salvage or recipes, no inherent power... and I can't remember what the "options" button on the top of the chat window did... -

What would he wear if he found himself in a situation where he needed to protect his identity, but for some reason couldn't transform into his sentai version.
[/ QUOTE ]
And that is precisely why we need "Brown Paper Bag" as a helmet option.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah. That's perfect for those of us with no sense of style. -

[ QUOTE ]
Nah, I already did one of those for the first one.
[/ QUOTE ]
well you could make some modifications to the original costume and then change the colors, making a Chisoku Version 2.0 bit. However I don't think you'll ever top the original costume (was the same with me and my Turbo-Ski too).
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, that's how it is with many of my characters. The other outfits are just variations on their first, often something with a "specific" use, such as hazard, space, or tactical versions.
Really, I think I just get it in my mind that the first costume is how the character looks, and its can be hard to visualize them in something drastically different.
Anyhow:
1. The right one
2. Well you have your base suit and a civilian look... how about an "improvised" costume? What would he wear if he found himself in a situation where he needed to protect his identity, but for some reason couldn't transform into his sentai version.
*shrug* -
This any kind of alien, or just space aliens? (As opposed to interdimensional aliens?)
<.<
I'll post both anyhow!
I have quite a few half-aliens, including my Peacebringer, a renegade Warwolf, and a Rikti-Human clone.
My only complete alien is Outlander. -
Oh, I might as well throw in my only flame girl... although over the last two years she's been a fire blaster, controller, dominator, and, lately, a corrupter.
Her origin has always been the same however:
Beset
The woman known as Beset began life as Grusha Plamjazyk. Born with a gifted mind and showing brilliant scientific skills, she was taken from her family by the soviet government and trained as one of their scientists assigned to working on developing biological and chemical weapons. Grusha, however, found per passion in mechanics, particularly in the field of robotics.
With the collapse of the Soviet Russia, Grusha was at last free to pursue her own interests. She moved to the United States and abandoned her history of weapon development, instead focusing her skills on trying to help the world. She began research and development on a new type of solar collector: small nanites capable of storing the heat from the sun and transferring them to a power collector. It was meant to be a clean, renewable energy source that could easily be transported, implemented, and used anywhere the sun shone.
But the project was sabotaged. The nanaties were reprogrammed to return the stored energy to any living host they could find. The research team was killed by the heat injected into them.
The exposure to chemical and biological agents during her time in Russia somehow allowed Grusha to survive the nanites. For months, Grusha was kept alive in a research facility, writhing in pain from the heat coursing through her. When she at least regained her senses, she found the nanites had taken up residence inside her body, still replicating and returning solar heat to her body. In a matter of weeks, she learned how to control the nanites, enabling her to release them from her body to harm, hinder or help those around her. She destroyed the facility that held her and made her escape, finding herself in the Rogue Islands.
(Her wings, btw, were formed from the nanites as she gained more control over them. And sorry about the screenshots... right now isn't the best time for taking them. It isn't Beset's preferred time of day either. >.< -

Just to head this off at the pass, there is no Anniversary badge for CoV 2 years... we want to get to a point where we only celebrate ONE anniversary a year, like normal folks.
[/ QUOTE ]
You know some weird "normal" people.
Personally, most normal people I know celebrate their wedding anniversary, the anniversaries of their births, the anniversary of Independence day, the anniversaries of certain religious events, and several other anniversaries each year.
[/ QUOTE ]
But "normal" people don't call all of those "anniversaries," now do they? I happen to use words like "birthday," "Fourth of July," and "Christmas."
[/ QUOTE ]
Did Positron call it a anniversary or a birthday in the thread title?

I like the costumes, but again the mechanics of getting them are less than fun.
Please consider getting missions involved somehow. This stand click, wait, wait, click gets old fast.
[/ QUOTE ]
I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. Yeah, just getting the costumes themselves is a pain... but the event over all is fun if you are in a large team to minimize waiting between spawns. A little trading in the team doesn't make the costume slot salvage that terribly bad either. -
[ QUOTE ]
The minions that spawn around Eochai, I think, need to be levelless like the Rikti invasion foes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Honestly, I would hope that they make all of the spawns like that next year. Allowing us to Trick or Treat in zones regardless of level would really help lower the congestion in the high level zones and prevent the the occasional problem of some one at the high end of the zones' level running up and clicking a door and running off, leaving the resulting mob to kill the lower level characters by the door. -
Why do you teeeeaaaase us?! Letting us finally wear the costume pieces we've wanted since the game was launched, but only for two weeks?
...
Ok, other then that, its a fun event. -

All I know it that as soon as I switched from time cards to paying for a larger period of time with a credit card, I received a issue beta invite that day, only a couple days before the issue went into open testing.
[/ QUOTE ]
Both me and my son have gotten beta invites since I8, both our accounts are paid by game cards.
I say its just random, like they say
[/ QUOTE ]
Its a pretty damn big coincidence.
Doesn't matter, the whole mystery group of beta testers is a ridiculous and should never have been started.
