It's not a bug. I don't see that in game and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else on the forums. It's something wrong on your system, most likely the drivers.
Please run the following programs and post the results here.

FINALLY!
Hated Dale.
Hate people who constantly whine about others behind their back, even when told to shut up. -

Quote:Well, I'm not used to starting these threadsYou forget about Green Lantern and Star Wars. Okay GL wasn't "new" but this is it's regular time slot.
And if you missed GL and YJ, it's on again Sunday from 10a-11a on CN.
B10 was another instance of an old enemy but using new aliens. Come on, bring on Cthulhu already.
YJ was great to see again. Only question, who was the young hero who saved the bus on the bridge, don't recognize her (Raven but a very different look? Don't know).I didn't mention GL because it was a repeat although I'm really looking forward to the new episodes. I don't watch Star Wars either, just can't get into it.
But Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about the mystery girl. I also was thinking possibly Raven because of the dark energy she was using but I don't think they would change her look that much. And since YJ has been following the path of having the cameos be by virtually unknown DC heroes (a policy which I absolutely love) I figure they probably used somebody I just don't recognize. -
New Ben 10 Ultimate Alien
New Young Justice
Haven't seen B10 since I completely forgot about new episodes coming out this weekend. I only caught YJ because it was still on my dvr recording list.
Young Justice was a great episode. A secret was revealed to the team and an obstacle to a new member joining was ummmm... removed?
And having to start this thread myself has made me realize that ShoNuff hasn't been around since November. Anybody have any clue about him? -
Quote:Well, what I was thinking is that there's no explanation for Thor actually being on Earth. So I'm guessing that somehow Thor decides to return to Earth, maybe to deal with Loki, and Iron Man and Captain America are send by Shield to investigate his arrival because Shield doesn't know Thor has returned and assumes the worst (Shield was able to detect something when the Asgardian bridges were in use). Rogers doesn't know anything about Thor and somehow they get into a fight, and then Iron Man jumps in to help Cap. The scene with all three standing around is probably the moment they all realize they are all on the same side, probably because Thor lets slip he's after Loki or something like that.
Gaaaaaaaaaa! Too much speculation. Not enough information.
NEED TO SEE NOW!!!!
Incidentally the new trailer set the record for number of views in 24 hours. A record previously held by Dark Knight Rises. 13.7 million views. I think I was the .7 million. -
The one thing I am really really hoping for in this movie is that Joss does the Captain America fighting better than the CA movie did. In my opinion Cap in action should have looked pretty much exactly like Blonsky did in his first confrontation with the Hulk.

It's entirely possible the so called normals could save the day. JLU used that exact premise in the episode Initiation. Green Arrow's archery skills took down a creature that some of the big hitters couldn't touch.

Staff fighting? Is that the new MM powerset where your pets are a bunch of office workers?

You've stepped into the thread but it's not the simple question you expected it to be. Samuel_Tow is standing on a soapbox and looking at you with an almost fanatical glint in his eye.
Option 1: Listen to him (go to message 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8...536)
Option 2: Back slowly out of the thread (go to COH & COV General Discussions) -
Don't count your weasels before they pop Dink. Oh, and had a great bday too.
-
Oh, and something else. Widow might be getting a Stark or S.H.I.E.L.D. tech boost. In the scene towards the end when she slides a clip into her gun you can see that she is wearing some sort of tech wrist band that briefly flashes blue. At least it would help explain why she was standing in the middle of the street with nothing more than a pistol.

Anybody know something I can take to put me in a coma for a couple months? I need to see this as soon as I wake up tomorrow. I want it to be May NOW!!!

Quote:1.) No, because thanks to videos being released to youtube and the internet TED has become more and more popular over the past few years. Talks that used to have an audience in the double digits now have hundreds of attendees. And this video takes place 11 years from now. Considering how popular TED has become with the general public it would not be at all unreasonable to expect it to become an arena type event open to the general public.Does it bother anyone else that the most unrealistic part of that clip and the speech given was the fact that so many people attended a TED conference and perhaps the name of the guy... Weyland...
2.) Ummmmm... I don't even know what to say to this one. Where in gods name did you think the the name of the Weyland corporation came from? Did you believe that the founders picked a random made up word? Most corporations are named after either what they represent such as GE and IBM or after their founders such as Johnson & Johnson, Abercrombie and Fitch... Weyland. -
I think it's beyond awesome that they made it a TED clip.

My character Escrimadora says "dual blades". And since escrima is designed for blades as well as sticks there is no reason it shouldn't be a choice of weapons.

Kirk held his own while fighting Spock in This Side of Paradise. He was losing but barely. He didn't fare quite so well in Amok Time but that was due to the environment, unfamiliarity with the weapons and the fact that Mccoy had doped him up. So from this I would wager that Kirk isn't quite up to fighting Spock but could hold his own for a while.
In Shore Leave Kirk fought Finnegan. It wasn't really Finnegan just a substitute but it was a long drawn out fight that Kirk finally won. Actually it was pretty much two fights because first Kirk got knocked out by Finnegan. Once he woke up he went back for seconds and managed to win.
The important part of this is afterwords when Spock asks Kirk if he enjoyed the fight Kirk says he did. That he always wanted to beat the tar out of Finnegan. Now knowing that Kirk pretty much jumps into a fight at every single opportunity this pretty much guarantees that he fought Finnegan multiple times in the past, and always lost.
If Kirk always lost to Finnegan except in a fantasy recreation of one of those fights then it follows that Finnegan is a much better fighter. If Finnegan is a better fighter than Kirk then he could likely hold his own or even beat Spock in a fight.
I really must be bored this morning. -
Quote:Well, I can't really agree with the challenging part. It's unbelievably easy and not at all dangerous. Well, unless you don't pay attention at the hydra heads.Let me start by saying that I haven't had a low-level character in years.
I was interested in running DFB for the badges on my main badger. Wow. It is fun, engaging, challenging, and easy to understand, and allows for multiple strategies as well as different team makeups. In summary: it's everything I wish the UGT was.
I suppose getting the Cadaver Counter badge can be a pain considering 4 out of 5 teams don't pay attention to what is necessary for the badge. -
Depressed I didn't take first second or third. But happy I was a finalist and got to see PDP again.
And the winner of round one deserves to be immortalized with a statue outside every theater. That was amazing. -
Quote:Actually pulling another season out of their butts is exactly what they did. The arc was set for 5 seasons. Then in the fourth season they were told that it was going to be cancelled, that season 4 would be their last. So Straczynski squeezed the plotline for season 5 in with season 4. That's why 4 seemed so much more rushed than the others. The show was actually written to specifically span five seasons (corresponding roughly to the five years prior to shut-down), so it wasn't even like they were even pulling another season out of their butts. I don't understand how B5 went too long.
Then season 4 ended and the studio said. "Guess what guys? We're going to give you another season." so Straczynski had to come up with another plot line that would last one season. -
That still doesn't explain what you mean by huge blocks of text. You ask how people get past these things. But you haven't really elaborated on what these things are.
For me very definitely it's the journey. I don't care about gaining levels. I abandon most of my 50s the moment they hit 50.
I don't care about the juggling of cool downs. In fact I will often make it more of a juggling act by using less of my attacks. Beating an opponent with less tools for me is more fun than having a huge pile of powers to select from.
I love reading the mission texts. They are the journey, they are the story. Not reading them is like getting a book, paging through it and just looking at the few pictures, and then complaining that it's a boring book.
So no, what you seem to see as problems I see as the attraction of the game.
That and the community in general. -
The reason you can only use the 3.25 gigs of your ram is because you have a 32 bit operating system. If you want to use anything more you will have to switch to windows-7 64.

I would certainly go for that. I absolutely hate the concept of American affiliates of UK networks. For some shows like Doctor Who it's fine. But many of the UK shows tend to involve swearing, flipping the bird, brief nudity and other things that the major networks consider evil. As a result all of those things wind up bleeped, blurred or edited out. The practice annoys me to no end. If a show doesn't have anything in it that the censors feel a need to eliminate then I can get into the show and enjoy it. If the show is interrupted every few minutes with a bleep or even a cut scene then I'm pulled out of the experience. It's worse than commercials.

I just hope somebody shoots or bites Dale. I hate whiny passive aggressive people like that. I have to work with one.
And my thought is that the daughter was only scratched, not bitten so with the help of some antibiotics she will fight off the infection. Part of the remaining plot line will revolve around the possibility of being able to synthesize a cure or immunization from her blood. Ok, it might not happen but I know how much television shows tend to fall into cliche patterns once the budget is cut and cheaper writers are hired. -
Agreed that nuke is the best option at this point. However if you are one of those people who stubbornly refuse to do because "I'm sure I can get it working again." then unhackme is a decent rootkit removing program that is free. I've used it before on friends and coworkers systems and even once for myself (that's still embarrassing) and it's never failed to remove the rootkit.
