    Great googly moogly.

What the ***** did they do to the Titans?

Who's the spiderchick/bot? What's up with this 'thief' angle on Wonder Girl? What the **** is Superboy wearing; tatoos? Taped-on paper 'S' (Young Justice animated shows did 'justice' to Superboy, not this...this...what IS this?)?!? and the dark energy gal - Marvel's 'Sunspot' get a sex change with a serving of a DC toss-over?

    and....ARGH! No! LIEFELD!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  4. As far as a military pack for multi-national uniform selections, backpacks, hats, helmets, guns, etc, MOST DEFINATELY /SIGNED!

As far as temp powers, auras etc, I'm sure there are a slew of ideas the art and power teams can come up with; nonetheless, make it so!
  5. I cannot begin to state my level of dissatisfaction that this copyright/profanity filter issue is still not resolved.

I spent over 4 hours trying to fix the enormous amount of damage this filter caused to my AE Arcs. I finally gave up on one of the AE Arc fixes because I couldn't find an alternative name for a 'filtered' word/name.

I don't know what the timetable is on getting this fixed, but we're starting to loose people, and once again, there is a stigma now locked onto doing AE missions as a result of this problem.

I asked one of my dedicated AE SG mates if he'd done any AE mishes lately (since he usuallly did 4-5 other folk's AE arcs a week) and said he will NO LONGER do AE missions; he's sick and tired of all the issues and problems that keep cropping up with the 'quality' (i.e., not farms) ones he wants to do. I couldn't help but become irritated that AE once again looses another interested body, this one in particular, an AE fan, all from the cause of lack of attention and fixes/updates REQUIRED to keep this feaure working right.

I mean really, when was the last Dev's choice issued to any AE Arc? Ya, not lately, that's for sure.

SUGGESTION: With AE on a severe wane of updates and with Incarnate sucking up a slew of players, devs need to, once and for all, KEEP the AE system manned with at least one dedicated dev (preferably two) to keep AE rolling with all the issue updates, new AE features, character changes, faults, customization map adds, NPCs, unique feature abilities (Anti-Matter's orbital ray of death feature for AE mishes, for example) etc. In other words, LET'S GET BACK ON THE AE HORSE, DEVS!

I'm seriously disappointed that once again a key feature in this game is left withering on the vine, dying.

AE, Welcome to the dev's blind eye club: fellow compatriots-Bases, PvP, zone updates, EAT customization. Expect more club members soon (tm).
  6. Bought x 3. Got this morning.

Can't wait to get home from work and get Steampunk'd!
  7. I'm glad that low level zones/content are going to get some attention. If this is done, Atlas Park and Galaxy City should get the Ultra Mode upgrade for buildings, roads, parks, etc; make it appealing to go there.

Not keen on the Atlas Park/Galaxy City merge. I like them seperated, so long as both Atlas and Galaxy City gets some serious attention to more NPC contacts, repeatable mishes and maybe even zone events added.

Personally, I'd like to see Perez Park, Boomtown and Dark Astoria get the primary focus. They need help, period.
  8. I'll be there! Glad to see this happening!

  10. My VGs, Knights of Arachnos, Champions of Arachnos and Legion of Arachnos, as well as fellow coalition VG mates are forming a coalition league and are brazenly jumping right into the Praetorian Surge, lag or no lag!

We will not shirk from our opportunity to not only participate in the lag, but to aid in its creation!

Our goal: the crashing of the Freedom Server!

    Long live Arachnos!

    Invasion

    Logged in with a hero.
Tackled Steel Canyon invasion for 1/2 hour of lagged combat.
    Game crashes.
    Pulled up one villain.
Tackled Cap Au Diable invasion for 1/2 hour of lagged combat.
    Game crashes.
    Pulled up another hero.
    Shuttled him to Atlas.
While zoning into Atlas, computer hard crashes.

    Good times.

My hat is off to the Community Relations Team and the event coordiantors for doing all they could to conduct the event as best they can.

to the technical capabilities of the server to handle said invasion, lag, and volume.

    Sidenote:

If the devs/'powers-that-be' intend to continue this path of Praetorian Invasions, as a suggestion to them, I'd hope they'd reconfigure the Praetorian Invasions to be JUST like a zone-based Rikti attack/Zombie Apocalypse. Just set it up so that whenever 'x' SF/TF is completed in-game (i.e., such as completion of Tin Mage II TF or the such), it triggers a Praetorian Invasion that lasts relatively same length as Ritki/Zombie zone invasions. Toss in some 'defeat x amount' badges for Olympian Guards, IDFs, War Walkers, and maybe an equivocal "I survived the Praetorian Invasion" badge, etc. Throw in a random Praetorian Guard Praetor-type AV/GM to pop up after 5 minutes after the zone invasion starts. when the AV is taken down/out, the event ends. This sure as hellz won't make zone lagfest any better during said invasion, but at least it'll make it more in sync with how the rest of zone invasions are done, and will add a different zone-invasion aspect/option to have fun with. This is, after all, just a suggestion, though. I'm sure some players have had enough of zone invasions. This may be one too many as well. I'd still like to see it changed to this though.
  13. Nice fixes...with the exception of the Incarnate Interface nerf.

How do I join?: One of a few ways -
      • Contact @Major Deej online/offline via tell
      • Go to our "Contact Us" website page
      • If on Justice Server, send a tell to the SG Leader, Captain Starfighter
      • Leave a forum post found under the 'Superhero SG' Section, "Justice: Terracers"
      • Leave a message on the "Message Boards" on the Terracers website Homepage.
The Terracers are an exceptional group that allows for Primal Earth heroes/vigilantes or redeeming villains/rogues, or even characters that come from the parallel dimension of the extremely damaged star cruiser (currently in orbit around Primal Earth), Terracer 1. We even have characters in Praetoria (difficult to explain here, but more than happy to discuss in tells/Ventrilo!). All ATs are welcome. To understand a bit more of what the history of the Terracers is and what they are about at this time, check out our "History" webpage for a good rundown of what this SG is about.

We are also looking to coalition with other 'space' themed SGs on Justice!

To get more information, check out our website for the Terracers!

    Soviet Proletarian

    Black Boris

    Soviet Cold Warrior
  18. Can't use the word 'Avengers'.

Now, I know that the Marvel team is called this, but in context to supergroup names we use in THIS game (i.e, Paragon Avengers, Rhode Island Avengers, etc.), we can't use that name in context in AE, or use the term in a sentence like, "...that team acted like civic avengers against those street-spawned Hellions" (ok, it sounds corny,...give me a break; I'm still on first cup of coffee...), but you get the hint.

The word/term 'Avengers'/avenger has context and use beyond the Marvel single-word copyright, ergo, this really shoudn't be blocked.

But from what I hear, most stayed away and the few that went didn't stay long when they realized the extreme disadvantages they were laboring under. Diminishing returns versus Elite NPC mobs that aren't suffering under those restrictions? Yeahright, that was a good idea! (NOT!)

That's the reason I didn't go to those PvP zones; I wasn't sure if the Paraetorians/War Walkers were going to be as DR'd as us, and from a few tells I was getting during the fight in Cap, it seemed that the players in the PvP zones were getting nowhere fast. Figured it was a lose-lose situation, thus I didn't even attempt to go there.

I think the OCR team was just trying to diversify the surge locations, maybe not realizing the PvP zone impacts on the players, nontheless the level restrictions. Regardless, bad idea.

If I'm right, I think we teamed with you that night (Major-American, American Interity, Candaian Tourist to name a few). Was a great team, and had a great time starting my time with Union. In that same night, got asked to a new SG, that has since tripled in size, and am enjoying teaming the last couple of nights, making several new Global Friends in the process.

    Very positive experience thusfar!

    Thor

Looking forward to seeing it this weekend!
  25. I was lucky to be home to log into the Praetorian Surge on Union....and unlucky to try the same thing on Virtue.

The Union run was excellent! Great team/league, slight lag, but overall was a great experience. When the War Walkers were inside the City Hall building WITH all of the Praetorian AVs, it was a deathfest once you came in through the doors to City Hall (got some great screenshots though!). Once Avatea helped 'thin' the Praetorian ranks a bit, it was more manageable and fun.

    Then there was Virtue...

The lagfest there was unbearable. I shifted toons from a hero in Talos, to a Villain in Cap; all the same. After about an hour, I couldn't take it anymore and had to log off. I could've gone to the ski chalet with some of my newer characters than hadn't picked up Winter Event badges etc, but the lagfest really fried me for the night.

I'm sorry to say that the hard work the OCR team tried to manage just wasn't the 'epic' or 'excitement' I was hoping for...for Virtue, that is; Union was a much more fun experience.

I truly hope whatever 'tech' is being/going to be used on Freedom on the 27th, actually works to diminish/alleviate the lagfests, but after seeing what happened on Virtue, I'm a bit sceptical.

I may show up for the other surges, but if the lag gets too much, I'm not going to kill my hours watching a power shoot off after 2-4 minutes of waiting per shot; not fun, nor is it desireable.

Kudos to the OCR team for trying; wish the tech was there to decimiate the lagfest though.

Additional note: also, if you are a league leader for said event (as this was while I was on Virtue), as a courtesy (aid to the team?), please try to refrain from jostling around your MMs from their teams (or new team leaders not the same level as the previous team leader) so much; each time I was 'moved' from my team (more than likely to get the teams reloaded to 8), all my pets died. I'd bring em back up and 3 seconds later, the leader(s) jostled my MM to another team (or give us a lower level team leader), thus killing my pets again. This happened 7 times in just one battle in the span of 10 minutes. I finally gave up trying to bring up my pets, which made my experience in the 'surge' all that more painful. Just a friendly piece of info to think of before League leaders/team leaders do mutiple jostlings of the team leaders, MMs, or other ATs with pets from team to team during the firefight. Set up the leagues as best possible early in, but try to keep the team leader levels the same (50s) and not toss the MMs from team to team during the firefight. Just an FYI to aid in a better experience for all. Thanks.
