  1. Just looked up the history of the meme...

Another 4chan created phenomenon. Makes sense now.

    Who Will Die?

My solo battle with Blitz was truly Epic! More of that please!!

I mean, the missions are pretty cool with a team and all, but that doesn't deliver the same rush as handling him solo.

Man, this story gets better and better with each arc. I can't wait to see how it all turns out. For my money, I still think the true mastermind hasn't been revealed. Wade is just a misdirection for a few arcs. What a magnificent end for Malaise as well. Perhaps now the players can finally get his pants. ;p
  3. I'll be so glad when this bronies nonsense goes the way of the rickroll...

  4. That's where I left my ship!! Thanks guys, been searching all over for that thing.

    The Walking Dead

I really hate the mid-season break nonsense that's taken off in the last few years.
First show I recall doing this was Heroes, now it seems every single show I want to watch... only shows 5 episodes a year...

    Psych
    Eureka
    Walking Dead

All take months off in the middle of a season. So lame.

I've all but given up on TV for this reason, and a myriad of others. In fact, last night I went ahead and deleted Psych and Eureka from my season pass just because it's to frustrating having an entire season dumped onto my Tivo everytime they come back, since they have to remind us whats been going on...

Looks like, from here on out, I'll be enjoying my shows 1 full season at a time.
    On DvD.
  6. Meh.

Not sure why, I just have no interest in Titan Weapons.

Bring on Staff Fighting I say!

    Til then, have fun everyone.

I vote for this, since I still haven't seen one ingame...

    The Walking Dead

    New question;

Your're done for. End of the line. Zombie came outta the blue and took a chunk outta you while you slayed it.
Your 2nd in command raises his gun to finish you off.

    What do you say?
  9. *Walks into thread excited about a new Spidey movie... clicks link*

    *Views 2 minute preview*

*Runs screaming from the emo angst fest coming to screens.*

I got the feeling, in less than 2 minutes, that the majority of this movie will be whining and moping over the big bad terrible secret his parents had, oh with a little web-slinging interspersed with the numerous 'looking sad holding my mask' pans...

    I'll pass.

    Comic Relief

    Skeletal body!

    Wind up key backpiece

Spring shoes (I picture Toyman bouncing around)

    Musical notes aura (ala Runes)

I survived Hami(or insert group) and all I got was this T-shirt chest emblem

Come at me bro chest emblem

    Suspenders

Video camera hovering over head or attached to a rig coming from the back.

    Roller Skates

    Cape that retracts like blinds
  11. I've enjoyed;

    Earth/Storm - Very potent
    Illusion/Time
    Plant/Poison

    The Dev Digest

I'd prefer if they just reverted back to the way the Digest used to be set up.

Indeed. Right before they stop at the jam, lori and Rick are waxing nostalgic about a failed trip to the Grand Canyon. Carl is in the back with Carol and Sophia and remarks that he doesn't remember going. Lori tells him he was to little and he got sick so they turned around but that it was still a good trip.

Then Carl says he'd like to go, which prompts a 'how the hell' look from the parents, followed shortly by Sophia asking, "Can we come too?" With obvious excitement in her voice.

I saw Sophia as starting to break out of the shellshock this season. Last season she was living thru hell with the ZA and most likely being molested by her father in tents before his demise. With the ZA starting to be the normal day to day, and her father being long gone, I saw her starting to smile and be more interactive with the group. That is until...

Personally, I was hoping they'd actually off both the kids right off the bat this season. Watching Carl try to get the tools from the corpse, I was just shaking my head wondering how long it'd take before one of the kids gets the group slaughtered.

Still... By the mid-season finale, due to the glacial ppacing of the show, I'd all but forgotten about her. I was right there with Darryl thinking we'd find her. That or we'd have to abandon the search to leave, a fate much worse than knowing what happened to her.

The moment with Shane demonstrating how 'dead' the walkers are by unloading 3 center mass into Hershels neighbor, while he was walking her to the barn no less, Hershel falling to his knees. That was poignant. The look on his face, as the denial he's built up gets blasted away.
It's relentless at that point for the poor old fool.
He then has to watch as the barn is opened and his lifetime of family and friends (small towns like this are tight nit) pour out into the firing squad.

I caught the grimace from him when the woman's cheek was blasted off. I assumed it was his wife. The man is being killed watching this.
Then it ends. The music, the mood. All of it was just so perfect.

The small shoe appears and I think, Oh great! Poor guy has to go through all this and just when he thinks it's over... now he has to watch his young step son get mowed....

    OH...

I think if it hadn't been for the drawn out search, if I hadn't been expecting them to find her. Her being found like that wouldn't have had as much impact on me.
As it stands, it was the perfect finale in my opinion. Leaving us hanging before the smoke clears, I can only imagine the ramifications shortly after!
    Can't wait til Feb now.

    You want the truth, right?

Sadly not a bug. This is the result of having a set made so dependant on the other pieces involved in said set that they aren't all that useful with the other 99.9% of the previous 7 years effort. See also: Pre-Tinting.

Results in a really nifty looking outfit, when everything is worn together...

Hopefully the recent hoopla will translate in to more interchangability for future sets.
  15. Yep, just take a left at the floating truck and look for the pizza sign. :P
  16. I would've been thrilled to bump into an opponent in Warburg on one of my nuke runs... I'd either win or get a shortcut back to the exit
  17. Hehe...

I love how, in a few short months, we've gone from having very heated debates over the fact that, from here on out, all new costume pieces would be paid for to this.
    >_>

My main gripe with this 'issue' was the emotion I sensed on the Dev's part. Like a parent that was never able to please a spoiled child, getting annoyed and fed up. Offering us reverse psychology tricks and threatening to take away our toys.

The either or mentality doesn't have to exist, even more so if the Dev's have more resources in this department than before. We've been given gender equal pieces, and male/female only options for years, the creator is chock full of them. The only thing driving the perception of having to divide the sets with maths is a monetary one. Now that you can charge for things, the desire to hold them back isn't as present.

It could be some mandate being dictated, I don't know. All I know is this whole thing, to me, sounds like creating a problem out of nothing.

If the new time table for releases means you can't deliver the same level of equality then the timetable needs to be adjusted, not the amount of pieces...

    Sadly, this.

This 'problem' didn't exist before the market began demanding new goods weekly. I'm starting to get a bit miffed at the lip-service and hand waving being done by the Dev's lately as well.

I still think Freedom is the best thing to happen to our game ever, with great potential for the future. That excitement has been tempered somewhat lately though, with the lackluster quality and commitment being delivered.

Pumping something new into the store's inventory weekly amounts to a lot of wasted time and money if everyone stops buying them. Burn us once, we'll trust you again... Burn us repeatedly and we'll stop shopping.

I implore you to be careful, we are still in the 'newlywed' phase. Once that wears off though, the reality of having a store full of poorly thought out packs and unpolished clunky looking pieces will sink in. Please don't doom us to that fate by some suits requirment to have weekly releases.

Above all else though.... Stop blaming us.
Acting like this is some brand-new vitriol from the playerbase isn't wise. It's one thing to make changes based on feedback and ask for clarification. It's a whole other beast to allude to the new restrictions being 'our fault' for complaining in the 1st place.

I wouldn't even bother posting this sort of thing, if I didn't have faith that our Dev/OCR team is still the best in the industry. I just don't want the new business model to change that opinion.
  19. My Ferret had an obssesion with remote controls. He was always dragging them under the bed or hiding them in the closet.
  20. I don't play 50's so this is viewed from a levelling perspective, not kited out.

I rolled a Claws/Regen Scrapper few years back but quickly grew tired of him. The damage just seemed pathetic compared to my DM scrapper. Yeah, I had insane recharge but I had to as I was needing to spam multiple chains to put anything down. To me, it just felt like I was slashing at air. I shelved him after rolling a War Mace and just being wowed by the damage.

    I recently rolled a Claws/Electric Brute though...

Much better experience levelling! Fury makes all the difference for me I feel. Giving Claws the damage it deserves right out of the gate.
  21. Swat busting down your door, MP5's at the ready, because the address on the search warrant was incorrect...
  22. Kinda shocked this hasn't been mentioned before now. I had this issue come up right after the last patch and have heard that it's this way for everyone now.

    Really annoying.
