Not to mention it took only one arrow to the gut to kill one of the world's most prominent heroes!

Depending on difficulty, she's a AV or a EB. It takes a lot more than one arrow.

That is a really good idea, it would encourage both taking the forums and switching between them often.

    Those poor, poor enemies.

They wouldn't stack in the sense that it has a 40% chance to activate. It would have a 20% chance to activate, and then another 20% chance after that.
  7. Hmm, if this IS doppleganger tech plus increase in size, what will it be like for Masterminds if they actually start using their powers?

HEADLINES: 50 foot ninjas attacking paragon city!
  8. The crafters are just that good.
  9. I'm going with Paragon City finally respecting us enough/Rogue Isles fearing us enough to build us statues out of respect/fear.
  10. Oh so now you can get statues of yourself!

    Awesome.

Can we make them not in color?
  11. Yea, Wind sets are what I want most, tied with Pirates.
  12. Oh you're certainly allowed to play however you want, but if you want to blast, be a blaster. If you want to be a tank with no armor, be a scrapper with no armor instead. If you want to be a blaster with no blasts, then play melee.

    I'm just saying its silly.
  13. Well if you're just smashing buttons in those forms quite frankly you're doing it wrong. Warshades are fluid and active, you switch forms constantly to take advantage of all they have to offer. A combo system in one of the forms would be teaching them the exact opposite of what they should be learning, making them stay inside the forms longer than they should.
  14. I don't think the 'angels' are Battalion, I just thought it'd be cool. And no, not like actual angels or anything silly like that, but just a group using angelic imagery.
  15. Nalrok, Demons are one of the best and least idiotic sets. They do absurd damage in melee, much more than their ranged attacks, so having them run in is a good thing.

Beasts are incredibly tough and do amazing ST damage when yo let pack mentality build up. Yes, the run speed can get annoying, but I mainly play Ninjas so I'm used to it. And at least Beasts can survive aggroing half the map, unlike ninjas, who without a good secondary can't survive aggroing the air.

The only two that need help for sure are Mercenaries and Ninjas, and I've already posted what I thought should happen to fix them. Necro and Beasts are still just below Bots, Demons, and Thugs, so they could also use some help, but it isn't as needed.
  16. Just gotta say, a combo system is the last thing in the world I want on my Warshade. Its already in all the new sets, don't let it take over the old ones too.
  17. Staff Melee is great with Dark Armor, due to Staff's end reduction mode. Staff also has Guarded Spin, which increases lethal and melee defense. Very useful when stacked with Weave and DA's baked in defense. Sky Splitter even has some bonus resistance, which I believe is unique among melee sets. Staff is great defensively and is very sustainable, and is one of my favorite melee sets.
  18. I bet they tried to remove Wade too, but he plays a part in two of the main 20 arcs.

States and Psyche should not have been removed, or if they had to be removed for whatever reason they should have made it to where this didn't cause half a dozen temporal paradoxes.

Anyway, you are wrong. The attacks are part of the MM primary, giving them exactly the same status as pet powers. Who are you to dictate that three primary powers are the "right" way to play, and three others are the "wrong" way to play?
Because Masterminds are advertised as a pet class, not a blasting class.

A petless MM is the same as an armorless Tank or a blastless Blaster. You can do it, go ahead. But its silly.
  20. I suspect it'd do the same thing as slotting them in Caltrops.

I'd hold off on it though, with the new PPM thing in i24. Toggles and patches won't be able to proc more than once every ten seconds.

That is because Masterminds have the damage modifiers of a gnat, and 20% more damage than a gnat is still a gnat, just a particularly buff one.

I was actually under the impression that Masterminds had Pain, and everything else had Empathy. Never bothered to check on Corruptors because I never considered either for them.
  22. Warshades aren't Nictus anymore, they're reformed Nictus that have allowed their host some control, and is much like Peacebringers in that their personalities merge.
  23. I'd be against an AI fix if it scaled back the DPS. Quality of life and balance should not interfere with each other. And the AI is a bug, make no mistake, and bugs should be fixed.
  24. See, what has happened here is he has said something stupid, and rather admit his mistake or just leave, he is trying to defend the stupidity despite knowing it was stupid.

    In short, its stupid.
  25. Clearly this means they are alive to this day.
