So, loving my Arch/TA Corr, i was thinking about trying Traps out. But this time, as a defender since i dont have one at 50 yet. I thought of /rad for my secondary, since it has nice debuffs, and AOEs, a awesome snipe, and the boom, i love the boom.. :P
One thing i worry is about is, redraw? how bad would that be going from traps, to rad, then back to traps?
Since /rad isnt very damage heavy, i wont be able to solo, well atleast not very good. I find teams hard to find sometimes. So you think a better damaged class will be better? but at 50, ill be TF/Trial all the time, so i try look towards what i can do at 50, and be like, i can pwn that..
Then slotting will be an issue for me for Traps considering it will be my first Traps CHaracter ever. Defender at that. I know how to slot /rad, common sense i think. Perhaps if anyone has a Trap/Rad, or even just a Trap Def, posting a build would help out so much.
ATM, im looking to get out of tanks/brutes/scraps, since i have atleast 2-3 50s of each AT. Time for a change, like the Corrupter, which was my first after 3 years + of this game. So i figure, lets try a defender. -
Hiyas, im currently leveling a Arch/TA Corrupter, hes at level 37 atm. Speeding to 50 pretty quick, i am loving him, which is a huge surprise since i am more of a tank/brute/scrap kinda of player. Anyways, im looking for a decent build for him, and i do have a price range on this character. Im trying to stick with 1bil or below. Im looking at more of a team-based corrupter, since at 50, TFs/Trials is all i do. Iv been playing with Mids but seems like i make epic builds, then i look at the bonuses, and its like.. hmm not what i expected.. IMO what my corrupter needs is little more damage, i find that Arch is a little light on the damage. So i think more of a damage, and maybe recharge, or up his defense a little bit, not sure.. Cant fix all the problems.. Any help would be great if someone could even give me some idea of a build which i could even go by off of.

Sorry i was in a rush, wasnt using prper english i guess. plus new keyboard doesnt help. What i want is a soft-capped tank, or close enuff to be solved by a purple or two. Mainly for kickin butt in the trials, tfs, etc. i have never played ele tank, so i have no idea what resist sets or any sets to use at all. For attacks is kinda easy, but i have no clue for my shields and what not. All im asking is just help with a build. Influ isnt a issue, i just want to be able to stay alive, i know everything dies, but something which will hold up. Iv read other Ele posts, and i c they can soft-cap in almost everything.

Hey all, just gunna start off by how I have never seen a Ele/Stone Tank yet. Til now. I made one yesterday, and i actually liking it alot. Hes currently lvl 30. Approaching lvl 50 quick, im gunna do a end-game build. I would like to try and cap everything, or as much as possible. I dont mind poppin couple purples or oranges, i have few other tanks which i have to do it with. Im mainly going for something which can tank the trials, and TFs in general. Since we have 3 builds we can do, i may set out all 3, 1 for solo, 1 for the trials, and maybe another one for lower TFs due to the examplar. Anyways. I am very experienced with Tankers, there my favourite class, and ill remake powersets if i have to. Im actually trying for all tankers sets to 50. i have 2 Fire Shield tanks at 50, and a Ice Shield. Which i love. Going off track again, haha, so, i just need some opinions on this build which i made up. I am sitting at 1bil atm, but i farm on my other tanks, influence isnt a issue for me. So im willing to spend all the influence i need on a build. For the PvP DEF, i know its very very expensive, so im gunna save up my hero merits for that one, no way spending 1bil + for it.

Im sure if u have Rage, when it drops, your even more squishy.. thats why on my fire/ss tank, i have rage, but i dont use it, its there for set bonuses more then anything. If im fighting fire dmg baddies, then ill use it, but besides that, things hurt for those few seconds it debuffs u

So i just made one, and im a noob when it comes to controllers especialy mind/sonic. I understand that mind can be a difficult class to play, so i was hoping to get pointers and suggestions on builds and what not, and rotations, what powers to pick and not to pick. I will be using this controller as a team player. Straight out of the box. End-game plans are just pure TFs. I figured a mind/sonic would do best, considering that i have Firekin, EleRad, Earth/Cold at lvl 50, mind u i havent played them in a while, or barely at all. Im not a big fan of controllers, but i loook at this as a challange for me, and i would love to see a group of baddies beating the crap out of each other. Then there is sonic to help my teamates.

There amazing. For Teams, and for solo. Mines Ice/Ele/Pyre Tanker. He is soft-cap, and more due to EA. I have enough recharge time for my Hoarfrost is perma, so thats the health cap right there, cuz i can run 2 at all times. Damage is wonderful for a tank, Lightning Rod is one of the best AoE attacks, Iv spent alot of money on this guy but totaly worth it. And no Purples involve, if interested, i may have my build kickin around somewhere.

So i now have 2 Fire tanks at 50. and one Ice/Ele at 50. I need a armor to play around with. I have tried Shield, its awesome, i have a 50 fire/shield brute. But i cant play a powerset twice normaly, but Fire and Ice tanks are expections. Iv tried Invul, and really didnt get into it. So i was thinking of Willpower. Stone tanks arent my thing, iv tried several stone/* tanks, got them to 30-40s, and deleted em. Iv heard WP is good for most things. So what goes nice with WP for a secondary? I have a /ss, /ss, /ele, /dm at 50, so i would like to try something else besides those. So that pretty much leaves the axe/mace, stone melee and ice. Oh and Energy, which i have never tried on a tank. I wont mind trying a wp/ele tho, just thought that would be a good combo. Any thoughts or opinons? I love to team, smash big grps, takedown huge amount of baddies, ur typical tank. I am one of those tanks will try and bite off more i can chew, not scared of jumping in mobs few levels higher then me either. any help be nice, even suggestions, opinions or anything..

Hey all, so i just dinged my firedm tank lvl 50 2 nights ago, havent really played much since then. but now, i have no clue what to do with him. To start off, i want to go for a team base build, more surviviblity of anything else. The way i look at it is that Fire/DM has 2 Healing, and 2 End Powers. Healing Flames and Siphon Life, with Consume and Dark Consumption.
Currently with the 50 SOs i have on him, im pretty weak and i use end pretty quick. I went with the Spiritual Alpha. The Recharge be nice, and plus adds healing by 20% so that would help me get my heals back quicker and make them better. So i was leaning towards Def and Recharge for my build. Any other suggestions would be nice. I know its hard to soft-cap fire, but im hoping i can get close as possible. Im willing to spend any amount of money for a epic build. I have experience with Fire Tanks, its the Dark Melee part. I have a DM/DA Scrapper, but havent played him in years, just doesnt amaze me like he use to. I have a fire/ss tank also, and currently leveling a fire/fire.
My rotation im using is rush in, Fiery Embrace + Soul Drain + Fireball + Burn, then by then i need to use one of my end powers cuz just my end goes to xerro after that. -
So my buddie was leveling a Fire/Kin Troller, he never has played a troller, and he always plays with another friend of ours, and wanted to try it, so far, hes loving it. So, i thought i would make a toon and catch up to him. So i made a Fire/DM Tank. So far, loving it, 2 heals, 2 end powers, pretty much 2 build ups.. cant wait til 50. Think he will be built for survivablity if thats possible with a fire tank.. lol
What u guys/girls think of this duo?
With the Firekin, iv got SB/ID/FS all the time wit me, plus another heal and power to help, so i dont plan on dying anytime soon. We also both have the magic pack so atleast iv got 1 buff to give him atleast, and he can give to me. So i think its pretty sick. -
I have deleted several chars. Level 1-10 or not. I have deleted 4 chars in the 30s. and 2 at lvl 41. And iv had thoughts of deleteing 1-2 my 50s cuz i never play them. I play enough where i can get a 50 in no time, even without farming, i can get to 50 pretty quick these days. I have no limit on delelting. Heck, ill delete a 50 just to use its name if i think it would fit better with my new char.

Thank you all for your help, and positively, All my 50s i have i know how to play, iv played this game long enuff i dont need to look at the descriptions, i know what they do. Just because i powerleveled them doesnt mean i dont know how to play them at all. The only thing i dont know what to do is enhancing them with IOs and such. I know how to play them, just not slot them lol. Dom's sounds like the way to go for something different. thanks again guys. tc.

Hey all, i have been playing heroes for the last 5 years or so. I have pretty much 8 50s. And now im stumped on what to make for my new project to keep in the game. To start off, ill list my chars i have at 50 already. Im a Brute/Tank/Scrap kinda of player. I love tearing stuff up. I have been trying trollers, and no luck on which fit my playstyle, so was trying a Dom, havent played one yet, and maybe it would fit my playstyle more then a controller. Anyways, here they are :
Tankers : Ice/Ele/Pyre and Fire/SS/Pyre
Scrappers : DM/DA/Pyre and Kat/SR/Pyre
Controllers : Fire/Kin, Earth/Cold, and a Ele/Rad at 48. ( Note that these were powerlevel for end-game purposes and i dislike them.)
Brutes - Fire Melee / Shield/Energy Mastery.
-- OTHERS -, 41 DP/Mental Blaster(Dislike to squishyness)
I love to farm, do end-game TFs, and just tear stuff up whatever im doing. Im open to all opinions, and suggestions. All i do is PvE, no PvP whats so ever.
I had idea of maybe trying SoA's, or a Brute of some kind.
