Wow. It's been a while for you, hasn't it. Well, welcome back!

Something else to think about, was that if the face still had the make up it would be the first face in the game where a female character could wear lipstick AND a comic book styled face mask. And as a bonus, they could actually be different colors from each other (as long as the mask wasn't bright red.
Granted, you can still do something with the Jester mask, but from what I've heard, that seems to be an acquired taste. -
I was a fan of the original face, because having the makeup made specifically for the face meant that the makeup actually fit the face. I haven't made that many female characters, but the first thing I did notice when I was making them was that the makeup options really didn't work for the majority of the faces, if it worked for any at all. Thus, neither of my female characters even bothered with it.

Might not be a bad idea for the devs to put a key explaining the colors actually ON the server select screen. Heck, might not be a bad idea for it to pulse a couple times like a glowy, so the average newbie can easily see "HEY! THIS IS IMPORTANT!" And not just that "red is high load" but actually explain that it means possible wait times, and lower performance and all that.

Not going to swap any existing characters, but I *am* going to make new ones with the set.

Yes, the UStream from yesterday was affected by a Steelclaw list made today. I'm not being snarky, his humor is powerful enough that it has a ripple effect on time itself.

Quote:That's actually one way to look at it, but Mental_Giant was closer to my thinking.Probably, and of all the hero-side ATs, Controllers are the most like a Mastermind.
Also, Dominators have pets, but not buffs; buffs also add to the server burden. Controllers and Masterminds have both pets and buffs, making them a double burden.
Can't restrict any of the power three, so Tanks and Defenders and DPS. Of course, since DPS hero side has been the claim of both Scrappers and Blasters...hey, there's Controllers which don't really fit in to any of those three. Let's lock that one. -

It wouldn't surprise me if the two dimensional aspect of the Vanguard claws isn't intentional. After all, aren't the weapons supposed to be something like a single molecule wide?

Quote:Don't forget that the costumes are not the only things offered at the new stores. They also sell IO recipes, and I'd be willing to bet that it's one of those that costs 20 Empyrean Merits more than any costume piece.I am trying to imagine a costume piece that I would pay 20 e-merits for.

Quote:Ah. took me a second, I think you have your terms mixed up. Yes, we can convert Shards to Threads, but not backwards. On the other hand, all Alpha slot enhancements have a version that can be made with Thread salvage as well. It kinda helps, in that you don't need to make Favors of the Well, but you will still need Rare and Very Rare Salvage for the appropriate level Alphas, so I'm not sure if that helps all that much.I have a related question: I have been told by many people that one can convert salvage you get from Incarnate trials to Shards. Now I see where one can convert Threads to Shards, but not the other way around?
Am I just not seeing something, or are these people mistaken?
I know Shards are a bit out of fashion, but I have several people with Incarnate unlocked who have almost no shards, and cant slot their Alpha even at tier 1. -
The one thing I want to know, above all others, is how much damage are we talking about with this Pulse thing. I've often wondered if the folks who complain that there's nothing in the game that's not trivial would enjoy a map with a kill switch that wipes the team. With this trial, at least from the sound of it, they could get a TPK every thirty seconds.

That's a slightly different cap. This is more for defense and accuracy buffs, both self applied and given by a teammate. There may be other stats with a soft cap, but those are the two biggies.
-
It's basically a point in which further increases are possible, but largely pointless.
For example, a player can have around 200% buff to their defense. However, past 45% it is essentially useless because the game will round down to a max of 95% defense (your base 50% + the 45% buff). The only time a higher buff is really appreciated is when facing enemies with a higher to hit, or defense debuffs. -

Well, unfortunately Charlie's appointment was postponed one week. Doubly disappointing the office decided not to tell them about it until they showed up in person, because a 45 minute drive (one way) is considered "local".

Actually, I'm curious to see what the pieces will look like once they're in the hands of folks who aren't that big into steampunk. It'll be interesting to see what these pieces look like once folks give them some colors other than 'brown(ish)'.

Quote:Don't forget any group associated with the Red Coral of Sharkhead:Magic enemy groups in Primal Earth...
Warriors
Outcasts
Mu Sorcerers
Tsoo
Circle of Thorns
Banished Pantheon
Carnival of Shadows
Midnighters Club
Legacy Chain
Wailers
Halloween Event Enemies (Zombies, Witches, Vampires, etc.)
The Cabal
Redcaps
Tuatha De Danaan
Fir Bolg
Croatoa Ghosts
Rularuu
Coralax
Slag Heaps
Scrapyarders
Yes, the last is suspicion on my part, but given that they're supposed to be mining the stuff with little to no safety equipment or protocols, my thoughts tent to go to miner's black lung of the coal days. If this stuff can bring the Slags to life, you have to believe that having your lungs coated with the dust does *something*.
EDIT: Not to mention, anything with ghosts in this game has at least some ties to mystic power, and who's the Spiritual Leader of the Scrapyarders? -
