This seems like a good place to petition for a defeat badge for those Northern Lights.

I'll be quick as I can here and feel free to add to this in case I missed something because I normally type in haste.

The 2009 has a new badge introduced called Lord of Winter. It appears using multiple teams is the way to go to get this badge.

1) Get on or form a 8 man team and start opening presents.( at least this is how a normal winter lord spawned for us in years past)

2) Beat the Winter Lord and he will leave a huge gift in his wake ( that has a timer on it before you can click it)

3) When you click on the gift ( which is 8 feet tall and clearly unlike other winter gifts lying about) you will get zoned into the Lord of Winter Realm map

4) The Lord of Winter isnt hard to find but I suggest pulling him than dealing with the winter baddies around him. I should mention he has 226175 hit points and thats why I suggest multiple teams.

5) When fighting LoW you'll find that he does go "Intangible" at every 25% health increment and that means you'll have to beat a Winter Guardian to attack him again . So if you cant hit and he goes intangible scan around for another GM.

I did this on the quick so if I missed something gimme a break and I'll check back to see what other players have picked up. Also I know coh Titan had a page on this but I couldn't find it so if someone does see it please post a link, take care all and happy badging

Lythinian, you could also join some of the public channels. They can be found by using the TAB button next to your in game email ( then drop down to channel search ). Many people use channels to announce or join Task Forces or pickup teams.

I got my Immortal badge the old fashioned way. I used the Elite boss version of Tyrant years ago and went into REST in front of him and went to sleep. You kids and you modern work ethic.....

After you get to the moutaintop you just grab a drink and enjoy the view.

Sunday Sept 27th just look me up for tanking or buff-debuffs for MoITF. I'll be on a better part of the day and a Citadel on a lowbie is all I have planned so far. As far as exploits go, I prefer to call them "Player Made Features".

I'm tired of having my favorite creation sit on the sidelines waiting for day job badges. I'll bring my stone tank MISHMASTER and toss me on whatever team you like.

Radiation blasters ...sign me up.

You gotta give it more time, many people are still working and your posts were spaced less then 2 hours apart. If your new to this server I'd suggest joining some of the public channels.

Normally, I don't rant much. On the internet , your best hits never really land the way you expect them too. That thing you saw on Saturday was long in the coming. It had the desired effect and getting it deleted was no surprise.

If you're a night owl or work late like I do you are more than welcome to join my nightly ( if I can get the teams going) Imperious Task Force runs. These usually start after I spam badge channels and get 7 victi...i mean players to join and that's about 11:30 central. If its too late I understand and welcome back.

How can I compete with that? Some of us don't have art departments.

This is why we need a vote tab for guides. I have a 50 fire fire blaster and cant believe this. I took another look to see if this was really a fire blast guide and it was. The only part I could agree with is the great damage output but not with these suggestions.
