    Always 'invalid targets' or just invalid until the guard mobs are aggro'd/attacked?

    I know on my missions it's always given the 'invalid target' message until the guards were attacked.

    Ah, that's a good question. I'll have to look into that. I've never noticed having to attack guards before, it's certainly not necessary if you only have a single object though. I always go for the object first hoping to one shot it and damage the guards with the resulting blast

    Ok tested this, seems that regardless of the number of destructible objects in the mission, the first one can be targetted at any time, the rest cannot be targeted until the guards have been alerted to the players presence or the first object has been destroyed - since there's to way to determine which the 'first' object is in the mission this is going to be a pain in the neck.

    Also, the comment that is supposed to be displayed when all objects have been destroyed is actually displayed for each and every object. Think there is some debugging still to be done in the MA!
  2. Would be handy if the inspirations simply didn't vanish after being used in test mode. Since there's no reward in test mode why should there be a penalty?

    As I mentioned just five posts above yours...I bought mine this morning (a couple of hours ago) and had no problems at all. It is slightly laggy so make sure you only click once on things.

  9. That's a lot of inf to trust to someone you don't know.

    The ability to transfer inf between toons is something that we've asked for many times but the devs, unlike Del Monte, say no.

    My theory is that it's probably some sort of half hearted attempt at forcing people to get together, make them less likely to solo. Same reason being behind the daft idea of forcing us to have toons online before they can be invited to a sg or promoted within a sg...the devs probably don't want to see a sg made up entirely of one accounts toons

    At the end of the day, it's their game and we have to follow their rules, however incomprehensible and outlandish they seem.

    As far as the mission architect goes, I'll have visitors later today and they're staying for the weekend so I won't be on at all till next week. I'll take a look at some arcs that people have created and take a look at the MA itself next week before I decide whether it's worth trying to do one myself. Have no idea what it's capable of, didn't look at it on test...

    Not sure about thre barring of trial accounts, they seem to be doing their best to encourage people to try out the game then blocking off as much of the content as they possibly can. I'm sure they have their reasons but it seems counter productive to me.

    Well, I've had no problem as such but it doesn't actually achieve anything worthwhile. NVidia don't provide a profile for the game so you have to set up your own and all that works turns out to be for very little.

    I'm sure there's some reason for keeping it all secret till the last minute but I can't imagine what it might be - unless maybe it's not been finalised yet.

    If I'd come up with something and needed to sell it I'd be shouting about it from the rooftops not trying to keep a lid on it.

    Was on an arc, this happened in a couple of consecutive missions where cysts had to be destroyed. I hadn't done this arc before so I didn't know if they were objects, I guess they were since they spawned nothing.
  17. Personally I think NC have someone watching me. They *always* conspire to start things like double exp weekends and major updates when I'm going to be away or will have visitors for an extended period. It's uncanny...

    I'll pop on occasionally to read the forum and see what delights have popped up out of the woodwork...

    I'm not saying you are wrong about the release date, but I'd be very surprised as that is easter weekend and there are no devs working from friday to monday. Releasing an issue the day before good friday is unlikely in the extreme and releasing an issue on a thursday is just slightly unlikely.

    If it is that close to release I'd say the following tuesday at the earliest myself.

    1 to remember the command to close aforementioned dialog, thus enabling the others to assist in removal of the light bulb.
  21. I've noticed that with my PB, any cysts she has attacked in the last couple of weeks have just sat there like lemons. Problem is it's only in the last couple of weeks I've tried soloing the damn things anyway so I didn't know if that was normal for a single Kheldian attacking a cyst or if they were broken. Their presence certainly wasn't accidental though, the missions were specifically to destroy the cysts.

    Chimera is Calamity's nemesis - he prefers ranged attacks and has a pretty good range, he also does a hell of a lot of damage with his magic arrows (they must be magic because they never miss and zip through her already meagre defences like they don't exist) and each hit from his silly arrows applies a hold. I think you'd need a tray of purples or a zillion break frees to defeat this thing at range.

    Whan I started playing you couldn't move for empaths, now you hardly see any. To be honest I'm thinking of deleting mine again, not because I think there's anything wrong with the power set - I simply don't enjoy playing defenders these days.

    Would be nice if empaths could heal through walls and around corners and at enormous distances though - that's what most teams seem to expect
