Costume change emote suggestion

Would love the ability to use costume change emotes via slash command like /cc 1 2 for costume 1 and emote 2.

Just would be neater than using the costume change interface.

That was fast

I'm a costume ninja! rawr.

The emotes are pure awesome tho and worth the pack alone imo. Slash commands would just be gravy.

Totally agree by the way (stupid window made me miss my first attempt).

Once you've selected a change emote, it should apply to the cc command automatically

Well there seem to be a /cc_emote command
but i cannot figure out how to use it.

Giving no input to it gives some error message:
"Incorrect Format: try /local (Command Synonyms: /say, /local, /s, /l)"

giving one argument gives the same error message.

However offering it two arguments makes nothing at all happen.

and three arguments gives the error message.

So i tried various arguments like

/cce 1 1
/cce 1 spin
/cce 1 Spin
/cce spin 1
/cce Spin 1
and etc
but nothing seems to work.

Same for me, and I already use binds to change costume, so: /signed

Excellent. Here's hoping there's a random option (however unlikely that is)!

Hope you guys are enjoying the costume change emotes that are part of the Magic booster pack. There have been questions here on the forums about using these outside of the costume selection screen, and the answer is "Yes. There is a console command for activating these."

The command is /cc_e or /cc_emote ('costume change emote')

The full syntax is:
/cc_e [costumeSlotSlot#] [emoteName]

There are a couple of important notes. One, the costume slot numbers start with 0. So your first costume slot is 0, your 2nd is 1, 3rd is 2, etc. Two, you need to use the actual emote name, not the display name that you see in the costume select screen's rollout. For the magic pack, these are:

CCPrestoChango - “Presto Chango”

CCLightning - “Lightning”

CCSpin - “Spin”

CCCast - “Cast”

Example:
/cc_e 1 cclightning
Will switch you to your 2nd costume slot, using the "Lightning" costume change emote.

As part of a macro or bind:
/local ABRACADABRA!$$cc_e 1 ccPrestoChango

Other than that, the normal rules for costume changes apply. You can only switch costumes once every 30 seconds. If you try to use a costume change emote sooner or try to switch to the costume slot you're already in, it won't work. You'll look foolish, and everyone will laugh at you.

Cheers!

Did anybody notice that it's 15 seconds now, and not 30?

Or is this just me?

I haven't been able to make this bind or macro work beyond 1st cossie change; how it should be written in order to switch between any of your cossie slots (like the flypose one)?

flypose?

you type it out like babs detailed.

/cce 1 cccast

to change into your second costume using the cast emote.
or

/cce 3 ccspin

will change into your 4th costume using the spin emote.

Probably worth issuing a reminder that costume slots start at 0...

Also acording to posters US side the emotes dont seem to work while flying so BAB is looking into that as well.

/bind <key> "cce 1 ccPrestoChango"

Where <key> is the key you want to bind it too.

[/ QUOTE ]

Fixed it for you.
