Dangit Local, finally got an Ill/Rad build read to go and play and now I stumbled onto your Earth/Rad Guide. Feeling like I want one of those now heh though I would try an Earth/Storm since I have a Rad/Rad/ Def and that Ill/Rad Controller. Anyway bumping this guide because anyone who wants to write one should look at this as a perfect example.

Went ahead and put the extra slot in for 5 piece Kismet. Also I definitely am Hoping to get the confuse purple eventually, just wanted to build w/o purples first. Thanks a ton for the help!

Quote:Will be sure to check that one out as well. This is what I got, trying to lighten the cost of the OP's build. Now that I'm home I can post it up. I have 196% recharge with AM/Hasten going. If you look in my Ill/Rad guide, near the bottom of the thread, you'll see my Perma-PA Ill/Rad build. I have 206.25% Recharge, and I'm easily perma. However, you'll notice that the only purples I have in the build are cheap.

Regarding skippable powers the OP asked.... Real SR's don't use travel powers.
Fitness/Medicine/Fighting/Hasten.... (Yep just hasten, no need for speed here
) Nothing is more fun than being super au naturel.
-
Oooooh day 2 guesses? hmmmm....
996 Million. -
-
Aye ok, I'm not so worried about IW specifically then but I did throw it in my post. was trying to get some idea of numbers and Local gave me a good answer. Thank you very much both for the answers though, now I have info for the future as well as right now. ^_^

-
Aw hell. I should have known better than to try and guess the amount using my own experience. Even putting tips from Fury and Nethergoat into play I can't ever seem to make as much as others.
-
There is a big intimidating mace available from the get go. Think Large Warhammer. Also the Rularoo mace looks pretty nice looking imo.
-
Always want to see more weapons in the game! Matching them to the Organic Armor would be a huge plus!
-
Quote:People have been saying that all over the forums in just about every thread on the subject though...I don't think anyone here is saying that ALL mutants have animal parts. So please stop with the "mutant != animal!"
Telling the devs the pack isn't mutant (or what they see mutants as) then posting pictures of animal mutants and telling us that is what a mutant looks like. -
What is the lowest amount of recharge you could have to still have a perma PA/Hasten/AM/GI/IW? Trying to cheapen this build some for my own budget but keep it effective.
-
Since this is a thread about it, I thought I might ask this question. Do people want proliferation over entirely (or even mostly) new sets? I'm of the thought that I would rather see new powers showing up more often than the same ones just being tweaked for a different AT. When ever I may take a break from the game or read about a new Issue and in it they announce that AT "A" will get existing set "B" I go "Meh" but even something mostly new gets my interest peaked (Like MM for blasters, not entirely new but some new things were slipped in there.)
-
Quote:I heard Techbot is shooting a puppy for every day he can't play with the Mutant booster on EU test server. Poor puppiesBecause your line of reasoning goes thusly:
Techbot, I heard you like to shoot puppies. I've never heard you deny this rumor (whether or not you'd ever heard it before is irrelevant), and you certainly haven't been as stridently anti-shooting-puppies as you COULD be... so I'm just going to have to conclude that it's reasonable to assume that you shoot puppies.
Or, you're looking for persecution where there isn't any, and lack of evidence is actually being presented AS evidence.
Good lord. -
We got animal parts in this set... 2 new tails!

If you are using the nrg secondary, definitely take Power Boost. Increasing your own stuns is damn useful, but with Ice/ it should increase your holds as well as slows (I believe.) Too good to pass up.
I also agree with Postagulous about searching the forums. If you cant find the set combo you want, you will still probably be able to find 2 different builds using each set you desire. That gives you an idea on slotting and you can put them together on your own in mids with minimal tweaking. I have to do it with scrappers all the time >. -
Force Mastery also has an ok AOE if you want a third one. The nice thing about it is that it won't scatter the group too much since it does knock down rather than knockback.
-
I just recently asked the forum about nrg/nrg as well to help respec my main. Got two very promising looking builds. First one (and the one I am currently slotting out and going to use) is a more blappery build that fit my play style. It had alot more melee/smashing&lethal def to compliment the resistances from Temp invul.

As far as your own build goes, the most I could say is that it looks expensive and that it is very much the ultimate glass cannon. You have no defense or resistances anywhere to give some more survivability ontop of nrg's mitigation knock downs. Might want to think about that before doing this. *shrug* -
I love /nrg but went ahead and did /mm. Wanting to move away from blappering but I still like to move in and out of range so the close AOE of MM sounds rediculously fun. Threw together a build in Mids with about 22 ranged def. Just had one question though, would the +stealth IO in SS be enough to sneak into the center of mobs for the RoA + PS combo?
Also here is the build just incase I made some huge glaring mistake I overlooked. Teachers always said to have others check your work.

Wanting to make a new Archery blaster but can't decide on a secondary. I had heard good things about Archery with Boost range and I seemingly don't stop hearing good things about MM all around. I would prefer to go the MM route only because I have a 50 nrg/nrg and have used /nrg for 5+ years now. So basically I am trying to find out if boost range with archery is over the top good and worth more alone than what MM can offer me.
-
Ah ok! So just a slightly more organized version of the old Arena matches when they first came out. (Or so it sounds) Thanks for the answer! That was much easier than I thought.

...I think. I'm going to just bite the bullet and ask this question since I haven't found out the answer by now. What is a kickball game
I usually lurk til I find something out that everyone seems to know but not seen anyone else ask or read an explanation elsewhere. /noob
