I guess it would be my main toon Legislate. He exists on most of the EU and US servers though is not always the same alt. Current incarnation is a BS/Shield scrapper.

A big hello to everyone, been looking forward to the merger for a while... It seems to have killed the 'forum lurking' tendencies in me.

Well I've got both names so hopefully I'll just be able to get rid of the _NA one since it's never used.

I'll probably changed the Pink Pompoms of Doom on my energy blaster to yellow, I might fiddle about with the Invun set on my tank too.

NPC Character: Coyote, not sure why just always has been.

Badge: Knight Errant, fits well with my main toon.

Powerset: Either Broad Sword or Super Strength

CoX Memory: Getting Granite on my first stone tank, it may have been along time ago but it was one of those moments.

Probably Legislate, my lvl 50 Inv/SS tank. Loved the concept for the character so much that I made Decimate, the Praetorian version. Currently I've got a BS/Shield scrapper version of Legislate at lvl 37.

Gratz DSorrow, I remember when I first got the badge on my main toon with the SG... Everyone had multiple heart attacks in the space of 10 seconds when Godmode dropped as we all piled in to finish off Recluse.

Yeah not sure I understand Forsaken_Empire's logic either. I've a couple of toons in the Handprints SG and I can tell you it is basically a community within a community, And to me it's everything that is right about this game. Both their SG's are proof that you don't need to PL or farm to get what you want from the game. And despite in real life being a 7ft tall, bearded Yorkshire man named Steve you'll be hard pressed to find an SG leader who puts in as much effort as Von does

And lets be honest asking someone to fight in SG mode for SG planned events is only common courtesy, especially if you're the person that event has been planned for.

Aye good job to all involved, would've been there last night had my broadband connection not pooped out during the week.

Both my main villain and hero alts are Invulnerability (Brute and Tank). I've had great fun with them both, my Tank especially. Though as mentioned above it's a good idea to focus on both Res and Def to get the best performance, getting Tough and Weave will certainly help though imo you'll need to keep an eye on your endurance but good slotting should eliminate that problem. Reminds me of when Mother's Love and I were in PI fighting GMs, quite a sight watching an invulnerability Tank foot stomping over 8 GMs so there's a lot of potential in the set if slotted right

Not got as many on my main alt as I do on my minor ones for obvious reasons, but that's to be expected. Must admit like a few of the people here I really don't pay much attention to the bonuses that they grant.

The black inks are done by hand using a brush and pen ink. The actual colouring was completed on the computer and anything from Ulead to photoshop can be used depending on what level of detail you want to go into.
The above picture is only simply shaded, light sources are used to darken the colours. If I wanted a more realistic finish ( as opposed to a comic style) then I could have gone into greater detail, though having two light sources is a pain so it's easier to keep it simple

Step by step

Well with Broadband acting up lately I decided to revisit a few things I'd been doing. This artwork is from a much larger (Unfinished) piece of work which involves a character named Decimate the Daemon knight, the praetorian alter ego of Legislate the White Knight. Decimate has been knocking about for awhile and is basically a combination of my main hero (Legislate) and my main villain (Malakai.) He's a bogeyman sort of character who kills alternate versions of himself which is also helped by the fact that he's the strongest version of himself.

The picture was started with a standard pencil sketch and loosely inked before being scanning into the computer. The colours were tidied up and shading added. The effects such as the rain, background and the Pompoms of Doom were added last.

Aye I had a good time despite it taking five minutes to foot stomp a titan Nice seeing so many people turn up and thanks to the Art of War for organising the event, always good to see the Union players out in force.

I'm pretty much a tank player so I've not really branched out to playing other alts, I do love my lvl 50 stalker Cap'n Piranha though. I'd say MM's are the one alt I just can't get the hang of... Pets seem to run all over the place aggroing everything ending with me face down on the ground.

Due to work and the lack of broadband till the end of the week (dial up is painful) I didn't get much done. In saying that I got a few levels on the scrapper version of my main hero alt and a few levels on one or two villains.

I tend not to reply to blind invites for the simple reason that I don't know what this person is doing or what lvl they are at. I like to chat to people especially if I'm on my main character and I'll always help if I'm available, whether it's TF or simple badge hunting. Plus if you speak with people and get to know them a little bit they'll remember you down the line. Instead of the standard 'No blind invites' comment I've a friendly message encouraging people to chat with me and a few times I've had tells from Team Leaders saying how easy it was to approach me asking for help. Even if I'm busy I'll always reply to tells thanking them for the team offer.... Small things like that get you remembered.

Took 9 months to get my first lvl 50 hero which was a stone/stone tank. My second lvl 50 hero only took a couple of months. Vills side I've only one 50 and that's my stalker, didn't take as long as I was playing it pretty much none stop.

For me my favourite Characters are Hero 1 and Mako. With regards to Hero 1 I like the fact that he is so highly regarded in the game, the Rikti then come along and turn him into a monster, the opposite to what he really is. Plus he used Excalibur and I'm a sucker for the whole Arthur Legend thing.

I like Mako for the reasons most others have said, I think it's the 'brutal hero killer' thing that first caught my eye but the fact that he's a savage animalistic killer and still considered an intelligent ‘person’ means he’s not just a one sided character.
