  1. Having a bit of a problem with GENERIC/BAGOFMONEY/BAGOFMONEY.FX -- The money from the bag is falling *up* instead of down:

    I *think* this is caused because the actor is about Z location -600, and the money is trying to fall "down" to Z location 0, without realizing "0" is now "up".

    Anyone knows of a way to correct this, or will I be better off just disabling physics for this?

    That whole chunk of "Increase whatever" in the middle is, at least to me, not in any logical order at all. If I want Run Speed, I'm inclined to scroll to the R's, not the I's. And really, would it be anything OTHER than an Increase? Write it as Run Speed Increase, or Run Speed Buff.

    What do you mean by this? I've teamed with people on trial accounts recently, and after they hit 13, they can still play normally -- they just don't gain any more XP.

    Maybe you should include the Midnighter Club arc for heroes, that opens at level 10 -- mainly because it gives the player a look at two tilesets they won't see otherwise, the Rikti base and the Cimeroran caves.
  4. Hmmm... you could replace the actual texture for the walls with your own transparent texture. I need to find the texture name and location for it, but it should work.

  9. This was the best edition of the Scoop in a long time, for me. The "history of PVP" and the "finding the equilibrium price in the market" articles were very interesting and useful. Nice job, guys.

    The bit about how some costume patterns are broke is kind of weird to have in the Scoop, that felt more like a bug report.

  13. On the topic of ill/emp and endurance: sets help a lot here. I have both +recovery procs and a bunch of recovery set bonuses, plus perma hasten and Recovery Aura with 40 seconds of downtime. With all that, my endurance only goes under 50% when I'm exemplared below both Health and Stamina. I'm considering dropping Stamina in order to fit Deceive (the only Illusion power that I skipped), but as much as I like the power, I hate the long animation. If Deceive's cast time was shorter (one second like Spec Wounds) I would take it.

    Resurrect is not necessary at all; I don't have it on my 50. People rarely die on my teams, and if they do, someone always has a wakie (I carry some out of habit, but i12 means you can make a wakie out of any three equal inspirations, making Resurecct pretty much worthless).

    Clear Mind, however, I'd take if you can squeeze it in your build somehow. Try to rationalize it into your concept. When you are fighting enemies with mez effects and squishies are getting held, stunned or feared, not having Clear Mind can lead to immense amounts of frustration.

    Most likely because when you think of a corporation, you think of the faceless board of directors who don't give a <bleep!> about anything but making money. Here, even when we complain, the complaint has a face:

    "I wish Positron would have put badges in the Ouroboros TFs!"
    "I wish Sexy Jay would fix the ugly bare hands model!"
    "I wish BAB could find a magic voodoo doll to make Power Customization happen!"
    "I wish War Witch could revamp Boomtown next issue!"

    And so on. We have names and faces to attach to our issues, so we can sympathize with those dealing with the problems. You can't do that with corporations where all the contact with the consumer is done by phone drones.

    Even the new forum Moderators (a position that tends to be hated everywhere) have a name and can poke fun with us! Hard to hate the guy who locks your thread when he says, "it was the history eraser button, I couldn't resist".

    Or you could defet enemies in Atlas Park, then swap the map for Recluse's Victory. Same coordinates for both.
