DemoEdit Out Blue Zone Barriers?
You can sometimes get away with replacing one map with another, but only if that place exists outside of the mission. For example, if you do the Atlas Park Mayhem you could simply put the actual Atlas Park map in there and call it good. This doesn't always work, however, since not all maps have a counterpart and the coordinates don't always match up.
Apart from that, I don't know of another way.
Hmmm... you could replace the actual texture for the walls with your own transparent texture. I need to find the texture name and location for it, but it should work.

Thanks to @EnsonsDeath for the GVE code that made me VIP again!
@ Relentless: Thank you. I'll fiddle around with it. I'm not sure it's gonna have the desired effect.
@ Leandro: Lemme know what you come u with. That sounds like the solution.
Wouldn't that also make those blue force fields invisible when playing the game? That'd drive me nuts right there.
Wait for a zone invasion and demorecord as the rikti "turn them off". Im sure there is a demofile command that turns them off.

There is a demorecord code for having the war walls down, but I don't remember offhand if that's also directly tied to having the sky turn green.
My preferred cheat (when I can get away with it and I'm too lazy to bluescreen) is to film in certain zones that are large enough to not HAVE visible war walls (aka Talos, Bloody Bay, Peregrine Island, most of the Rogue Isles, etc).

i don't think he means the war walls i think he means the glowing blue walls that you see in like the rouge isles and bank mishes
They are the same thing actually. The war-walls just go "on top" of the zone boundry/war-wall. If i could catch that command, it would probably work for any map.

The War Walls up/down effect is controlled by the DYNARRAY command (see here for more info).
However, I don't think that the controls are the same for CoV zones. I hadn't investigated it too thoroughly, but I did some captures in the CoV zones, and they didn't appear to include the DYNARRAY command for War Wall effects (just for Recluse's Victory control boards), so they may be persistent effects on the CoV side.
I could be wrong and it could be the demo doesn't record the DYNARRAY status for the zone if you are simply out of visual range of the zone boundary, but I don't think they're controlled by the same code. Try it and see.
EDIT: I suppose the command might still work, and just doesn't appear in CoV zones because it isn't normally applied. Don't know if I've ever caught one "live" during an invasion red-side.

wow. that was easy. thank you thank you, Scuzz!
For anyone still interested, the "neighborhood pulse wall" (that's what the blue forcefield is called) is stored in this path:
city of heroes\data\texture_library\WORLD\walls\nbrhood_pu lse_wall.texture
I'll include that in the next Splasher build so you can replace it with a transparent texture. I can email anyone who wants it a transparent texture to put there, just PM me.

Hey Folks,
Besides lowering the "World Detail" is there a way to DemoEdit out the Blue Zone Barriers -- sorry if that's not what you all call them.
