OP, don't listen to the haters. A lot of the people on this board are your typical fanbois who cannot hear ANYTHING that changes THEIR idea of this game. I think it's a great idea. I especially like the idea of a badge for solo'ing EB's and so forth. Certainly one for those brave folks who solo AV's/GM's. That is truly worthy of a badge.

Just so you know, no, you were not the only person. I sent a PM to TheOcho (who responded VERY fast, I was impressed) who said that he would forward my name on to be sure I make it to the other Vet Beta's. My guess is if I had not sent that I might not have made it into GR or whatever else gets beta'd for GR. So, like Carl says, I got that going for me.

And really, lets face facts here people, the BIGGEST add to I17 (or GR) is the "Find the Last Few Bad guys/glowies on the map" feature!! If you have played this game longer that a few months, you know THAT is by far one of the best things we are getting. Heck, they coulda released I17 named "Finders Keepers" and only had that in it and I would have said it was a great ish.!

Nope. It will never get old. Mine has been 50 for a while and she is still my favorite charater I have ever played. No other Blaster has ever come close to the love I have for my Arch/NRG. It's why I am hoping Dual Pistols is pretty close in ST damage like Arch.

I'll join the Arch/NRG fan club. By far my favorite Blaster. I came to them (Blasters) after playing only Scrappers. I solo a lot. And for a long time I could not understand why all these Blasters had all the debt/death badges sooooo early. I solo'd her almost exclusively to 50. Too much fun. I do like devices on my AR, but she plays very different. Right off the bat I would say slower. My Arch/NRG does so much damage so fast I whiped through mish's fast. She is a long range destroyer. And thats what I wanted. Something more akin to the Thief games. If thats the playstyle you are looking for, go NRG. But if you like ambushes, setting up attacks, go with Devices. Both are fun, but for very different reasons.

And I will go to my grave saying this, the people who think one shotting bad guys is silly or a waste, can't one shot bad guys. When your slotted well and are one shotting Lt's, dang that makes ya feel waaaaay heroic! Well, in a Rambo-gonna-kill-ya-but-don't-care sort of way.

Well, that and I have been chomping at the bit for GR and Dual Pistols. Not so much the Demon MM, but for sure the DP. It is no violation of NDA if you are NOT in the Beta and say that. Danke. I guess misery just loves company.

Well, probably not exactly, but I keep checking my mail for my Dual Pistols Beta invite like a jillion times a day!!! It's like crack I GOTTA HAVE IT!!! It's like when I go to the BBQ places in KC Mo. MAN! Gimme Dual Pistols or a plate of Ribs! SOMETHING!!

I was checking it out on the Wiki and it said the vines spawn according to the size of the team. If I am in there all by myself (with of course at least 1 person logged off but still in the trial) then how many will spawn. In the picture on the Wiki it says there are 72!! But if that scales down low enough, then maybe. Are the vines EB's?

Can my 41 Thugs/Traps MM solo the Respec trials? He's not terribly IO'd out. I know I'll auto exemp for each, but is it doable?

soooooo I'm guessing that "end of January" beta bit is gonna come and go. Unless of course they ARE in friends and family right now and not being a Dev friend or family most of us just don't know about it. Hmmmmm. Any Dev's need a new friend? I'm in Cali and everything! I guess I just gotta wait for the 60 month Beta then. (insert sigh here)

The one I get from Mako. Can I solo it on my MM? I tried to take out one of those "font of power" things (there are 4 of them apparantly) and I got wiped! All my thugs plus all my Posse guys got b---h slapped! Then I still gotta beat Calystix AND Mako??? I'm guessing this is a team thing huh? I tried to drop the mish, but it won't let me which I think kinda bites! I'm doing it on a 40 MM Thugs/Traps. Any suggestions on how to solo it? Thanks.
