Understandable. Unfortunately, the forum software doesn't allow for very neat pruning of posts. By removing one of the "mean spirited" posts from early on, it took out most of the remaining thread.

I refer to the fact that not everyone is going to want to change the name of their character. What if they just want to play their same character without changing the name but on a different server to maintain continuity but with other people?
They will be out of luck.

Well, if the name is not being used, there's some good news. If it is being used though... Also, isn't there a 'name check' button somewhere too? So you wouldn't be getting into a transfer without checking the name first?

I tried Virtue once. All the names I wanted were taken already.

I think I'll just wait and see what happens after transfer has been live for a while. Who know's, maybe Freedom will melt and Guardian's population will explode. Or there might just be a little shifting here and there but no major redistribution of players, at all.

Should be interesting to see what happens.

Also, if anyone really, really wants an interview, I'll do it. Granted, it might be odd but... yeah, ok. Could be fun, right?

So, what ascendant were you born under and how do you feel it's effects?



Edit to add - I also require the exact lagitude/longitude and time of birth. I mean, how can I know what questions to ask without that vital info? If you want to get really in-depth, I'll require the players' lagitude/longitude of birth and time of birth too.

well to let you know...when companies let in game people do things like this...it gets a little bias. in other words..you'll do what you feel like whether you feel its right or wrong...which i have no doubt that its what your doing. putting my brothers (yes its my real life brother) little picture in the last one does not impress anyone. you seem to do alot of the same servers people every week. while i did not pick the person to do these things such as interviews, maybe its time to get someone else to do them if they cant get the job done. i would just like people to know theres more servers then virtue and freedom.

Also, Ex already mentioned that Trial accounts are a different animal and they can free up those names at will, because they were actually paying accounts.

The Devs did datamining to come up with the lvl cutoff. I bet a bunch of names are freed up the first time around.
