More to the point, the likelihood of confusion is what creates an infringement. Since it's explicitly stated in the bio that it's not the character but someone dressing up like them (insert comment about parody and/or nominative use here), and I'm not using it to make money for myself or cause liability for the owner of the intellectual property, it's only actionable if you're really frivolous and don't mind wasting a lot of money on lawyer fees over a case you'd also have to very heavily bribe the judge to win. The likelihood of confusion only exists if you're illiterate. -

Hm... this thread has me wanting to make Trademark Violation again - a villain whose bio reads that she knows that the costumes are blatant copies of "famous heroes", but does it anyway to try to get them in trouble. Then see how many petitions I get from people who are too stupid to read the bio. I still haven't done it, but the idea has been percolating for a while.

If an account gets perma banned as a spammer sure. Non-spam bans are still handed out and some people might want those old emails.

I don't really see how baby new year size could be an issue. He's very easy to click and see like those pet whisps and fairies. If a player's size makes him too hard to buff then how would this be an issue for anyone but the player?

Why not just include merits during 2x weekends. In fact buff all rewards for 2x weekends double XP, drop chances, double tickets, merits, and vangaurd.

I wish Oro could be expanded to allow travel to zones that we no longer use and TFs no longer in the game as the story line progresses.

Thanks to the rest who offered the suggestion area. I surfed the forums before I posted and I looked for what I thought was a good spot to post this. General discussion seemed a good spot because I could find nothing else that seemed specific to my topic. -

I just logged off of my lvl 51 Bear Shaman. I have a full book of 32 quests and zillions of quests to go grab when these are done. Some are Epic foes in little dungeons spread across Field of the Dead... and others are quests spread across maybe 10 lavish zones. I haven't even gotten to some of the zones I have quests waiting for me in yet.
They still have the 24 hours of ingame Double Exp Potions available by pressing /claim
When people talk about AoC being an unfinished mess, I might suggest they play the game instead of powergrinding through the whole thing... People who say there is nothing to do... are the same people who say Champions Online is the end all be all of MMOing in the New Millenium.
