And.. I mean average in CoH. Apparently being just over six feet makes you a little person in this game.
...why did I never think to ask for help on this...

Why would we want fingers if there are no nipples.

I wonder what game was stocked two slots to the left of GRCC that earned itself an easter egg reference in CoH?
My CC DVD box does say 8 75646 00083 3

Funny enough I can't find this chest emblem in game...

Never mind you have to buy it with merits...you have to ascend to be just a number.

Multiplayer means more then one person is playing. It does not mean playing together though.

    "TOO FEW PLAYERS TO CONTINUE!"

Trial instantly failed. 30 minutes down the drain. What the hell, devs? Just WHAT THE HELL?

WHAT THA **** DEVELOPER TYPE PEOPLE?

Getting that out of my system...I wonder if the pop up was added to identify why trials previously were being auto failed. The minimum players thing may be a bug that they identified so the pop up just makes testing easier (figure out auto conditions and label them so they can be addressed individuality without making matters worse). Since no minimum fail was previously mentioned this seems logical to me.

    Hrmm

This game is going to fail unless the developers give us a server that is open world PvP that we can start a level 50 incarnate on with purple and PvP IOs.

I wouldn't WANT to be in a SG that only invited me because they liked the way I played on a PUG. I join SGs who I get along with the people and they enjoy my company. I do try and cut up a bit in League while we are forming because staring at the screen waiting to be asked if I'm ready is the dullest damn thing in the game, but most of the time I'm talking to myself there.

Also where are you getting all this "The devs intend for us to do X" from? Did they say that somewhere or are you just letting your flatulence speak for you?
  14. Double posting here.

I was wondering if any of the forumites who support casual progression would be opposed if Mender Ramiel's arc (including the Trapdoor fight) was used as reference for the bare minimum difficulty for casual incarnate progress.

I have to say that at this time I give that idea like.... zero creditability.

I have no problem with females receiving access to the Baron coat, but we're less likely to get that since the Magic stuff was a thing we paid for. However the Ascension stuff does not cost us a thing in real-world money, so they're not losing any of that by giving men access to the Ascension Armor boot. I have to say that this disparity in the boot genuinely puzzles me. What would the motivation possibly be for female-only access?! Makes no sense....
My brief attempt to find some sort of source found nothing.

Prohibitively longer. The current options work less as solo or casual path and more as a supplement to continue progression when you aren't doing trials. The solo/casual path should take longer then devoting yourself to trials, but not as long as it takes now. Also I say solo/casual as because I don't think a purely solo path should be the main focus, but rather team progression that has a solo option. The current drop system doesn't seem to reward team play as well as the experience system, but if a system similar to the experience system could be put in place that would work well. The way I see that working (and it's probably been put forth before) is the larger the team the better the chance of a drop still randomly divided among the team. You would still be at the mercy of the RNG but you should see more rewards teamed then solo. For all I know the game might already do this, and if not the system would have to be worked so current trial rewards don't sky rocket. Kinda rambling so I'll stop now.

Well he's not completely wrong, however current game development (the new grindy raids) kinda point out that just because the Devs haven't worked on a system yet doesn't mean they won't do it later. If they can see a place for it in a game and a way flesh it out to their liking it will one day find a place.

    --edit--

Also developing a balanced faction system would take more time then the current story options. Something they may not have been able to invest in with previous systems, since it would most likely go all the way from 1-50 and require faction missions to be created for every faction, as well as custom art for any rewards (such as costume parts for faction's you've built a standing with). This would be close to how much work was invested into the content of CoV (stories and the missions they take place in not all the powers made for CoV).

  20. I'm sure people have talked about it before.

Why don't you think on what you would want out of the system try to flesh out a proposal and toss it up of on the Suggestion Forum to bounce it off the critics?

They don't talk there often but the Devs read up and if you can really put something together maybe it'll make it in one day.
