Ah well, poor memory then, just didn't recall seeing them before.
-
I was playing around with the character creator this morning and noticed a couple of costume sets I don't recall seeing before. While it may be my poor memory, I suspect we do have these as new sets.
The first I noticed was Lowlander.
The second I noticed was Mobster. -
A semi-related question about the healing badges.
You only get credit for points healed, correct?
So if no one needs healing and you hit the heal, it doesn't increase your healing badge, correct? -
Since I don't go to work until after noon, I sleep in, when I wake up, I watch a DVD and if I still have time, check on game then go to work.

I was able to form a quick 3 man team on Triumph yesterday in Outbreak to do the Isolator Badge. Easy to do and faster to get the badge.

Quote:Only open to levels 1-4?OMG That is going to be my player event in celebration of I16!!! You have to go from Atlas to Galaxy using Perez Park and you have to go through the park, not around it. Whoever gets there first wins lol.
hehehe, that is gonna be so epic! -
Quote:When I16 goes live, Ima gonna pop some popcorn, put my level 50 on hover and watch the Aggro Dodge of Death as level 1's try to navigate Perez Park. The funny thing is that by this time next week, Issue 16 will probably hit Live and the level restriction for Perez Park will be gone. This means the OP would have been able to get in and try to use a +2 to +12 hazard zone as a 'short cut', inevitably leading to multiple deaths.
"If you can dodge a mob, you can dodge a ball."

To the OP.
ROFL!
I did the exact same thing first time I played!
I couldn't get into Perez Park because I was only level 4 at the time. I checked the maps and saw the the other zones around Perez Park were way higher level than I was. Saw the icon on the map for Yellow Line and saw the yellow line leading to the different zones and reaching Galaxy City and determined that must be how I get there.
So I get to the train station and see the scrolling marquee and it said Next Stop: Skyway City and so on. So I sit there waiting for Galaxy City to scroll across and when it did, there was no train in the doorway. So I sit there. Meanwhile, I see other players run up to the doorway and disappear inside. I kept thinking to myself they are very lucky to catch the train they needed right away.
After about 3-5 players doing this, I decide to experiment, approach the door and when the mouse cursor goes over it, it changes to a hand. The train destination menu pops up and one of them was Galaxy City.
Boy, did I feel stupid.
What's worse, it took me until my first level 15+ character to figure out the actual mechanics of how to buy and sell at Wentworth's. I couldn't figure out how to actually place a bid. I understood I had to do so, but I couldn't figure out "how" to enter the amount I wanted to bid. -
Welcome back!
Well, if you had an account that is currently inactive, it should still be there. If you want to get back into the full game instead of just doing a trial, I would suggest contacting customer service. They can help you reactivate your old account and all your characters should still be there. -
In regards to tracking Day Job needed on a toon, I just follow the in game sequential list at ParagonWiki.
That way, I just go down the list for the toon and when I see one that needs to be done, I just move the toon to that location. If I can't get to a location (ex: level 9 toon can't get to Cimerora), I move to the next one on the list. -
My apologies to Alt, but I have been playing a few of the AE missions that I have been pulling up in my search.
My current search parameters are 'not completed, not voted, my level' then I sort by date. I am still on 04/08/2009 and I have found quite a few gems in these stories. I have actually, very rarely, come across a story arc that I have not enjoyed playing.
Since I, myself, have a lot of alts to play with, unless I get a mood to play a specific alt, I just alternate between them. How I do that is I will play one contact full of missions and one AE story arc and then move on to another alt. If a toon is level 25+, I add one Ouroboros mission to the mix as well, since all of my level 25+ alts outleveled their contacts before the Earn XP/No XP option was added. -
Both Fury Flechette and Tealeaf have valid points, so let me bring up my own recent experience with a level 9 toon.
I played a regular non-farm story arc in AE. There are some gems in there by the way, just hard to get anyone interested in them.
So I played through a 3-mission arc if I recall correctly. Got some 500 tickets all totaled. May seem like small change compared to the number of tickets dropped by a Boss Farm.
You can get a Bronze Recipe Random Roll for 60 tickets at the level 10-14 range. I received a Steadfast Protection (forget which one) and sold it at Wentworth's for 6,000,000+ INF. A few of the other recipes weren't as popular and haven't sold yet or went for low prices.
I can see where the OP is stating the AE Tickets are too good. I don't recall what the recipe drop rate was like for missions of this level, but for the most part, I don't recall being able to get 8 uncommon recipes from 3 missions in a row either. -
I agree about Stheno. They should have made her a Giant Monster for Mercy Island. Or even just a Monster so lowbies have a challenging chance.

Stuck at work, got an hour to go, then back home to game time!
-
I get to work on Labor Day. Double time FTW!
-
Rather than start a new topic for a related subject, I will ask here.
Is it possible for an entire team to select the same flashback arc, or is that restricted to mission holder? -
Granted, for the people below your level, but I thought all players, your level and above, are exemplared to the level of the flashback arc.

They are aware of issue and are working to correct it. -
Ok, submitted ingame bug report. Logged onto Liberty with no issues.

I believe this will help you.
Now, any non-story arc missions by the contact will not be accessible. -
If there is a story arc as part of the contact's mission, you can do the story arc through Ouroboros. You gain access to that zone when you are level 25 and are exposed to time travel.
If there is a contact whose missions you want to do and don't want to outlevel the contact, you always have to option to turn off your XP so you don't earn any until you decide to turn it back on. -
Although you do come across some outstanding custom villain groups, like Sister Blaze's story arc that has the Disco Trolls. Those guys are a hoot to fight!
