just come back a few days ago after about a 2 year leave, thought id test CoH again because of this freedom thing.

i cant access most my characters (untill i paid) and when i did log on em, i dident know wot to do. all this new stuff is confusing.

my acc is upgraded to the most u can get (i think) and ive got vip and all tier 6 and some tier 7 stuff on my little paragon rewards page thing.

for last 3 days ive been playing some of my characters and i just feel "lost" on here now.

could someone give me like a little heads up on where i can find out all whats been happenin lately, or u think its just best to start from level 1 again and spend abit learning like a newbie again?

Ive just returned to CoH and kinda stuck on what hero to make next. if any of you could gimme a little push in the right direction, ive got a few ideas, but when it comes to actully creating them i think about the other sets and end up starting back reading the forums.

Ive been at this for like 2 days now so i need to hurry up and create one. First thing is the requirements for my playstyle.

I like being in the thick of it when it kicks off so i wanna be able to take/avoid/resist/over heal anything that comes my way in groups. so the ones i kinda like the idea of are /SR, /WP

I like the comcept of dual weapons and fast attacks so maybe DB/? or Claws/?
now i like to pve and pvp, so when i think to make a /SR i think "yeah bit if im pvping, defence aint to clever" so it rules out /SR.

but when i think to make the /WP in the same thought of pvp i think i loose alot of speed, so it stops me from making the /WP.

now given i like fast attacks, dual weapons, abit of pvp and pve, i wanna be able to solo AV's/pylons, do these challanges that i keep hearing about.

so all i can really think at the mo is what to make between
Claws/?
Dual blades/?
?/Super reflexes
?/Willpower

Any ideas what you people think or can input to me id be greatfull, and hopefully i can get out of this groundhod day of level 1~4 and atlas park lol.

Has anyone made a high spec claws/elec scrappers before?

Hello peeps, Just wondering if anyone could give me a few tips on a Claws/Elec Scrapper.

Ive always choosen Super Reflex as my Scrapper secondary powerset and ive always wanted to play a claws scrapper, now i was thinking about making a claws/sr speedie but im kinda bored with SR now.

What would you expect out of a claws/elec scrapper if propperly specced for pve or pvp?

do you think it would make a good pve character or pvp, or abit of both?

any views and opinions would be great, also if u got a good build please share with me

money aint really an issue, been saving up for a long time

ok so i downloaded and reinstalled CoX

But my mouse arrows/cursors are currupt, and sometimes dont show up at all

ive got the latest drivers for my GFX card

its a 4870x2 Graphics card from ATI


Anyone know how i can fix my problem

*tried*
reinstalling city of xx
reinstalling drivers/reverting back to older drivers
adding: -compatiblecursors 1

but nothing works

its a nice build u got there, but kinda dont help me with my end problem when conserve power is not up

ive got the HD 4870x2 which is the Dual core graphics card with 2gb memory. and coh is poor performance, i can cap the fps at 70 on the highest possible settings, but AA dont work, and when i fraps it hits 1 fps for some reason if u resolv this plz let me kno.

but even tho i absolute murder gorups and groups of mobs in short time, i still got an end problem when conserve power is not up.... Can anyone help me?

update: yeah, i just changed zone and now they are gone again, wot do i do to get it back?

Hi guys, Im posting this here aswell in the bugs section as i think everyone should be aware.

Today, i got my Kat/SR to level 50.

and over the past months ive saved up just over 1 billion inf.

Now today, ive respeced my Character and went to Wentworths to buy all the enhancements i need.

I baught 5/6 set of Hecatomb lvl 50
I baught 5/6 set of Armageddon level 50

and i complely kitting out the rest of my skills and powers.

Anyways, i lost connection to the map server and the game closed, so after verifying image and logging back ingame, i found to my supprise, my 2 main most expencive sets on my character were gone.

i sent a petition explaining my problem.

While waiting for the petition to happen, i went and baught the 2 sets again.

anyways as i was running along atlas park the red "Enhancement Full" message came up, and i did not have any enhancements. so i looked in the main enhancement window and my enhancments i lost were coming back 1 at a time.

now ive got 2 sets of the enhancements,

10 armageddon, and 10 hecatomb.

so im trying to sell the 2nd set of enhancements i dont need because ive got the ones i lost back.

anyways, went to steel canyon and all of a sudden, ALL of them are gone AGAIN. they are not in my enhancments tray, or in my skills which i put them in.

So ive sent ANOTHER petition.

Really? So now, with a decent character from IO sets, Elude would not be needed?

why did u get rid of elude? i thought tht was the main SR power?

ive got my kat/SR to 40 so far and ive had elude for 2 levels, i love, im abit upset that you would even hint to get rid of elude, please tell u got rid of it and now know it was a mistake and u want it back

Today i got my first ever tank to level 50 *Go me*

And now im level 50 and now that we can use 2 builds, i would like to request 2 builds, from professionals

Build 1: PVE Build.
Build 2: PVP Build.
Ive got around 400 million Inf to spend on these.

now i dont know how long builds take to make and get all the right IO's and what not, but if its any trouble, ill pay INF ingame.

im alost interested in a WP/EM, or something/EM for PVP, ive never pvped before, and would love some tips

I had the 8800GTX from BGF, this was a slighly overclocked card which cost me around £300 if i recall:

8800GTX SPEC:
Price: Around £350 when i baught it
GPU: nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX
Core Clock: 1 Core running at 600 MHz (575 Standard)
Video Memory: 768MB
RAMDACs: Dual 400MHz

This was a bloody good card. it ran games like: Gears of War, Crysis and Call of Duty 4 at the Capped FPS rate which would be Vsynced at my refresh rate (60 FPS). But due to some reason i dont know, it broke down and was full of artifacts and just would not work, this was after 8 months.

im currently in the stages of getting it replaced by BGF it has a 10 year warranty.

Meanwhile i baught the ATI HD 4870x2 Now is this is 1 Craphics card with 2 cores, 2 clocks, 2gb DDR5 Video memory!! Everything is double, Like 2 cars in 1. I would never normally go for an ATI card, i was thinking about the 280 Card from nVidia, but this ATI card just Topped the charts, its 3dmark06 score is out of this world.

Core Clock: 2 Cores running at 790 MHz

Im telling you, for ATI, this outshines ANY graphics card out on the market to date, its simply an overkill for ANY game out today.

unless u really want to stick to nVidia, i suggest trying out the ATI HD4870x2, its like having 2 graphics card.

and for City of Heroes, Well, at the mo i got 75 FPS on FULL settings ive got VSync turned on which capps the FPS to my refresh rate which is 75 ALL the time, does not drop below that. unless i put it to 60 FPS.

its not in my powers anywere o.0

Just baught the 30 day jetpack, and the cyborg packs for my account.

now ive got the cyborg pack, but does anyone know how to claim the 30 day jetpack?

is it level restricted or something? i cant find it on any of my toons &gt;&lt;
