I'd copy the source avatar and paste it into the middle of a new 80x80 avatar. That way your avatar is 80x80, but your pic is still 45x45 inside it.

Forum forces 80 x 80 regardless of what you try to put in; some people like to put in hi-res, full size pictures at 5+ megs and have it load up in the 80x80 size. Fun stuff!

One of the coolest places in COX is the CoT Stronghold. It's only used in two redside missions, one from Scirocco and one from Mage-Killer Zuhkara.

Evil laugh would work pretty good for a transformation like that. The whole bursting into flame and laughing is a nice touch. Actually like most of the new costume change emotes. Peacebringer and WS aren't a big surprise, as it's the same thing you'll see when you switch forms right now (but it works for costume switching, too).

Anyone seen a video of the Vanguard Sigil change? Don't want to waste 100 merits if it isn't cool (and of course, it HAD to be another 100 merits... like it wasn't enough for the costume already).

Grew up about an hour north of the burgh in Wampum and never used yinz n'at, just doing it now to be annoying. Living out in Harrisburg now and getting funny looks when I ask for pop (heck, they can't even spell burgh right.) Have a friend out this way that gets down right irate when I say crick. Telling her it runs through a holler just makes it worse .

Yes, hell has frozen over. That anti-social KT guy that never says anything has started an off topic thread. Making up a big, pot of chili for the weekend and thought I'd share my recipe and see how yinz guys make your chili. Here goes:

Chorizo-Black Bean Chili

Ingredients
1 pound chorizo sausage
1 16oz jar of chunky salsa (I use Ortega medium)
1 15-16oz can of black beans (I use Goya)
1 packet chili seasoning (I use Mcormick original)

Cooking
Grill or fry the chorizo (I use a George Foreman)
Slice it into bite sized pieces
Dump everything in a slow cooker and mix it up.
Let it stew on low for at least 2 hours. The longer it stews the thicker it gets. I normally leave it overnight.

This makes a really thick chili. I either put it in a bowl or use it to fill burritos/fajitas. If I'm taking it to a party I'll make a double batch. Folks seem to like it since they tend to eat all of it.

So how do yinz make your chili?

I know they're not lolcats but it seemed better to post demotivators here rather then start a new thread for them:

Horatus and I made through the ambush, it took Demonic and 8 purples but I was still standing when you guys regrouped and joined me. As far as who charged them I didn't catch that. I wasn't familiar with everybody on the team but someone met the ambush as they were running through another group of Longbow and then things just piled up because of Longbow's long aggro range. I think we were fighting 3-5 groups. I know I was at aggro cap and another 5-7 Longbow were just standing around. Still it was fun but I sorely missed foot stomp at that level.

Architect Restoration Technician in the MA has some pretty good lines if you talk to it:

"Get back in the mission, soldier; never let them see you bleed."

"We use no medicinal herbs or chemicals. The whole process is digital."

"No animals were harmed in the restoration of you or anyone else."

"We don't serve fries."

My favorite:
"The Assistant Manager has uncontrolled superpowers lethal to organics.
That's why we keep her in the power suppression room."


Heard these ones in red side MA's:
Architect Employee: "I mugged this guy on the way in and took his access codes. Can't wait to see what kind of stuff he's created in Architect."

Burning Daemon: "Man, people around here are whimps, saying my missions are too hard. What a bunch of crybabies."
