Wow, this is awesome - i just discovered entirely by accident that in some of the Cimerora cave maps you can actually swim under water!
Just had to share that!
Here's to hoping there will be more of that! -
Anyone welcome or just Justice Girls and coalitions?
If not i might drop by again, the last party was fun! -

Incorrect:
Cimerora: You still need access to Midnighter Club first.
Ouroboros: The portal still can't be used if you're not lvl 25.
All the Hazardzones and the RWZ are unlocked though, not sure about the PvP ones. -
Ah, just the question and answer i came looking for myself, so thanks!

I think you even get merits without the badge, i know that my lvl 34 MM got merits last time he joined a Mothership Raid - not that he has any use for them.

Yeah, that's why i went with "something of a heroine", she had the ideals but not the power or influence to do it. (That and i was a bit fuzzy on the matter, been a while since i've ran the arc
)
Also, agreed Eiko-chan! -
Quote:*nods* The very same reason you fight endless legions of Skulls and Hellions, despite them being relatively "small" gangs - game mechanics. This is a point recently brought up in another thread. Basically, bad Crey everywhere is a game mechanic which was needed when the game was overrun with new players and street fighting was frequent. You needed the extra spawns.
The suggestion made was that the devs (War Witch?) rework some of the Crey areas, particularly Brickstown, to have bad Crey spawning in the back alleys and have "good" Crey spawning in the streets, even attacking other villain factions. It would make the point that people are confused for a good reason.
Crey definitely has powerful legal, and possibly media control. There's a whole zone gone toxic wasteland thanks to Crey and folks knew the truth enough to call it Crey's Folly. Despite this, Crey still exists and is even considered "friendly" by most? Definitely information control.
The Crey "wrongdoers" aren't meant to be nearly as common as the game makes them appear, YOU are supposed to be lead star in this story, so YOU come across the culprits and discover they are up to no good (shakedowns, bribes, harrassing poor civilians...).
Those snipers on the roofs are there to take YOU out because you've been snooping into Crey business way too much, they aren't up there for random target practice shooting every hero that happens to fly by out of the sky.
All of them silly game mechanics which can't be helped, since the game would be awfully dull without encounters.
Also remember that Countess Crey used to be something of a heroine, trying to fight corruption through the system, until she discovered that didn't work.
The game only shows Crey's evil actions, but i'm pretty sure they also do plenty of good.
For the Countess the ends justify the means, although a lot of the other high ranking members of Crey are probably simply corrupt. -

No wonder my Stone Armor brute's badge progress barely moves when i monitor it... he barely gets scratched and then heals right back up :/

Quote:It will all depend on what future patches will bring, if the drop rate stays as it is now - or more powerful/useful enhancements make it in game, then yeah - the prices will probably drop even lower.I think purple prices are a ways away from bottoming out. We may eventually get to a point where even the priciest purple set (all 6 pieces) can bought for less than 300 mil if not less.
However if they decide in a future patch that the current drop rate is too high and nerf it again... (part of me suspects they upped it considerably to make up for the AE era which caused the prices to skyrocket.) -

Heya folks, i'm currently considering several slotting options for my Siphon Life.
Now, i'm a Dark Melee/Stone Armor brute - i'm planning on slotting 4 pieces of the Kinetic Combat set (which will boost my Lethal/Smash defense past the def softcap), a Theft of Essence chance for +End and then the final piece is what i'm doubing about...
Do i slot a Theft of Essence Heal (lvl 30) for the extra healing and the +10% Regen set bonus for having two pieces... or do i go for a Perfect Zinger chance for Psi dmg - the latter because Procs are unaffected by the Granite Armor dmg debuff and psi dmg being one of the hardest to resist dmg types in the game.
Any suggestions? -
I put up the disclaimer as well on my arcs, for the reasons you brought up Red
Of course taking them down after they've been played would help as well (but i often forget >.>)
I did get positive feedback for one of them though from a complete stranger lol -
Ohhhh that makes me wonder... does new expansion also mean new Epic AT?
-
Eep! This means there'll be downtime in a good two hours from now!
Yay Halloween event though! And especially new badges!!! -
I think most of the replies here already sum up my opinion quite well.
Currently our VG uses MA weekly to run customized story arcs IC, and for other events as well.
We even ran an MA arc during the Double XP weekend despite the fact that double XP didn't work in MA -
