Rikti, Rikti, Everyone Wants a Rikti...

So I've just read up on some Rikti Lore, and learned about "The Strange Tale of Benjamin A. Decker", which I'm sure everyone has done. (5 Levels for me!)

And... it made me really want to make a Rikti Character. A former human turned Rikti.

So I'm curious... this is Virtue, the RP Server. Have any of you made Rikti toons? And if so, how'd you manage to do it, because I have no idea how to go about it. I know that if I'm creative enough I can probably pull one off, but I want suggestions.

I've seen it done, but I'm sorry that I don't have a screenshot of it to show you <.<

It did look cool, though.

I briefly had an Earth/Storm Controller who was a Rikti Magus. I basically just tried playing around with the sliders on the scaly/snake face (the one that has discernible eyes/mouth), along with finding a hair style that sort-of mimicked the Rikti skull structure. Then I cobbled together various armor parts to make a passable, if clunky, Rikti armor design using a photo reference.

It didn't really look all that authentic, and I eventually scrapped him for some reason or another.

Wish I had kept my Rikti. Rolled a tiny critter when the zone Invasions were introduced named Chibi Rikti. Brown chitin armor and a bronze helmet. Not sure what the helmet was all about. At any rate, she ran around screaming at the start of Invasions in Atlas about how her parents were coming down to get all you dirty humans. Some long incoherent rambles about winning before falling into happy little emote dances and summoning the laptop emote to play Battleship with the locals.

Good times.

They should so have a Rikti AT in Going Rogue. Since the Rikti were duped by the Praetorians or something like that... I forget how it goes...

But yes, I'll figure something out.

Ohhhh that makes me wonder... does new expansion also mean new Epic AT?

I wrote out an idea for a Rikti AT, but never got around to posting it.
The idea was that you'ld start out as a aconscript type and eventually branch out to Chief Soldier, Mentalist, Headsman Gunner or Comm Officer, much like how the SoA's work.

During the Rikti Invasions Event, I made up a character named Rikti Broadcaster (Used a PB to have Fly) and went from zone to zone heckling the heroes over broadcast. The costume wasn't even close, though. He looked more like Admiral Akbar than he did a Rikti, but heck, who's to say that we've seen everything the Rikti have on thier homeworld?
