All I see you saying is based on assumptions forming your supposition on what "might, could, maybe" be the problem within a problem caused by a problem when something is changed. As a customer, I do not want to hear that. I want to hear how the company I pay money to for their product will resolve this problem and when. I do not want excuses. I can get those from my kids!

I remember reading this somewhere. What you called a "patch" is not correct. An upgrade to a specific item is not a patch. A patch is repair. An upgrade means an improvement. Do not confuse the two.

Conversely, I am a paying customer. I pay for services that I expect to work efficiently to my satisfaction. I expect a quality product for my money; however, I do make allowances for some issues that can crop up from time to time. What I do not put up with is something that diminishes my satisfaction and enjoyment. The ragdoll affect does exactly that.
I want it fix in an expeditious manner.

As a paying customer, I have the right to demand quality, maintaining that quality, and an expedient resolution to problems exactly like this one. I do not enjoy watching enemies blown into walls, grounds, or whatever else in the immediate environment from knockback or watching them turn into boneless creatures after defeating them. Making up excuses for why they have not address this problem does not satisfy me. They are excuses. I want a solution and I want it as soon as reasonably possible. Just like the others who expressed the same sentiment. Hopefully, that too much to ask.

My Stone/Stone isn't there yet; however, based on my electric armor/energy melee tanker, I recommend fighting too and if possible grab Conserve and Physical Perfection from energy pool. These two powers alone have enhanced my game play and fighting style. Just a thought.

Seriously, this looks like slop, and breaks the immersive nature of the game. Why has this not been fixed in six months time?

And while I'm thinking of it, fix the physics so that things like bullet casings from fired guns and rocks from earth powers are visiable again. It was great to see spend shell casings on the floor after my hero fired his twin pistols at his enemies, but this feature has not worked for about six months as well.
Acroyear2, I agree with you. This is really disconcerting. This problem, in my opinion, takes away from game play and it influences outcomes. How you might ask? When opening my alpha slot on the Trapdoor mission my DP defender knocked him back into the railing in which he landed like a rag doll stuck inside the platform unable to do anything. I defeated him without any resistance. While that might be a great thing, the outcome made me feel like the victory was given to me.

I do wish the Devs would look at the code, find the problem, and then correct it. I do not subscribe to T-Immortalus supposition that changing the code will break something else. That is an assumption on his part without any substantive or qualitative proof. This is what Beta is for, testing changes to see if it corrected the original problem without creating another.

My best friend and I noticed this last night after completing the first story arc. After battling the Knives to save the Midnighters, I received the two badges, he did not. When we exited, I completed the mission; however, his mission did not and he is set up on Auto Complete too. We had to return to complete the last part again. At which point, he received the two badges and mission complete. As mentioned, this happened to me on Shining Stars too. Something isn't right here, that's for sure.

I absolutely love the missions in DA. I do find things that are creepy, especially down in the sewers. Like the big blob of undulating goo that looks like a huge lung cookie or lugie. I found myself instinctively trying to avoid touching anything from the MoT for fear of transforming into some hideous beast! lol. The Dev team knocked it out of the park on this one.

I've always held to the belief that when love strikes, it will do so with stealth and speed at a time one least expects using a 2x6 atop one's head. Congrats Thor & Sassy.

BTW, that is a great picture. Who is the artist?

Like you, I enjoy creating a character who is unique as they are different from anyone else's characters, even if they have the same or similar powers.

The uniqueness of my characters can come from how they obtained their powers to what they were before becoming embued with their special abilities.

Normally, my attachment to the character does not manifest itself until after reaching level 20 or above. Then I have a good idea whether this character is "the" one to keep and play to the end.

The reason for this might be due to trying to 'possess' their target instead of confusing it. Such an attack is more complex an action to actually take control of a person's mind than it is to befuddle them with confusion. That's how I look at it. BTW, I'm loving Dark Control with Dark Assault.

I believe Agility is actually best suited for my character's build. Since I have a number of Performance Shifter sets (3), Agility compliments them. Since slotting agility (now at teir-2) and my last respect, I have had no issues with endurance. Matter of fact, I can confidently run with sprint on with no concerns. I suspect when I obtain tier-4, I'll be able to use Power Sink more as a weapon draining endurance than needing it. Or so I hope.

    Seriously?

For four arcs, villains get to be actual villains instead of someone's errand boy/a greater villain's lackey/the fall guy. Now it looks like we're being corn holed into "the greater good" AGAIN.

.... having to fight Darrin Wade so he won't destroy the universe because "it's the right thing to do"? What crap.
Wait, so what do you want, let Darrin Wade succeed in conquering the planet and enslaving everyone, including character? Do you believe your lowly ole villain is going to escape the wrath of Wade or his Rularuu, do you? If so, you are solely mistaken. Even Wade will find himself a servant of these humanity-hating freaks.

A WISE villain knows when it is time to set aside his plans for whatever and fight along side those he battled for years. However, according to you, that should not be the case here. Okay, what do you want? Do you want your evil genius to destroy Wade, take over, and rule the Rularuu? What do you think Ruladak the Strong or Rularuu the Ravager will have to say about the matter?

So, what can you do if you don't want to "help" defeat Wade and his masters, the Rularuu. You going to sit on the sidelines and let the rest of the Heroes and Villains that join them fight the battle for you. While they are doing that, you going to rob everyone blind, get all the goodies you can? That is not the actions of a super villain. It is the actions of a thug and a coward.

Face it; this is a super hero/villain universe and game. From time to time, heroes & villains, for whatever reason, must join forces to keep their way of life alive and protected. This is the fact of this genre. You could just opt out of not participating in the final SSA and not worry about suffering through "being corn holed into 'the greater good' AGAIN." Then there would be no issue, you can ignore the results and motor on. You do not have to participate if you are tired of doing it because "it's the right thing to do."

So in this thread, let's talk specifically about the possibility of reaching back into the COH archives and getting you those options. IF we decided to do that, what would be your top choices? Also, if given the choice, would you consider this a priority over, say, brand new costume sets, 'lost' costume pieces, and other alternatives? Feel free to weigh in.

    *********************************
    1. Costume pieces similar to what some of the signature heroes/villains have. IE: a belt like Statesman, not exactly like it something similiar where we can have a symbol on it, like the eagle on his belt.

    2. Costume pieces similar like NPCs have. IE: Malta pieces, Knives of Artemis, and Nemesis. Example, back mounted sword sheaths for sword using heroes/villains.

    3. NPC Costumes similar to PPD hard suits and Crey's heavy armored units for example.

    Power Name: Level: Effect:
Poofter 1 Ranged, Minor DMG (Energy), Foe -DEF (All)
Ripper 1 Ranged, Minor DMG (Energy), Foe -DEF (All)
Bucksnort 2 PBAoE, Moderate DoT (Energy), Foe -DEF (All), Disorient
Thunderblast 6 Close (Cone), Moderate DMG (Energy), Foe -DEF (All), Knockback, Disorient
Chaingun 8 Sniper, Superior DMG (Energy), Foe -DEF
    Cramping (Build Up) 12 Self +DMG, +To-Hit
Omnidirectional 18 Ranged (Targeted AoE), Moderate DMG (Energy), Foe -DEF (All)
SBD 26 Close, Extreme DMG (Energy), Foe Disorient, -DEF (All), Immoblize, Disorient, -Regen, -Recovery
Tearass Blast 32 PBAoE, Extreme DMG (Energy/Smash), Foe Hold, -DEF (All), Self -Recovery

They could do the above or they could give us a really cool farting emote like we have for burping. This would involve the emote for Hmmm (plotting), frustrated, then one for raising the hip/butt cheek, and finally finish it off with evil laugh.
