A fine bunch of water lilies you turned out to be. I'd like to see anybody make me wash, if I didn't wanna.

*sends TPAM my bill*

I can't show off my set bonuses anymore?! It will be soooo much harder to get chicks now!

Yeah, respecing in general gives me a vulnerable, "naked" kind of feeling. I can only imagine how my character must feel.

Chilblain. A healthy dose of it in your attack chain will typically reduce bosses to hapless xp/inf ATM machines.
Many people overlook its potential and put it on the shelf after they get a hold power. Often those are the same people who spell it with an extra l. -

My deepest condolences, Kheldarn.

Quote:There's really no such thing as "simply a man / woman" in this game. If that were the case, your character would be dead in a very short time.
but if you are simply a man(or woman)with a gun or sword(however technologically advanced), how would that work?
Players who want to believe they're playing a "regular person" need to be tolerant of (or ignore) many things that frequently spoil that notion.
On that note, one should be able to accept the Incarnate System as an additional source of power without much fuss about it upsetting their origin. -
Once there was a lady from Halifax....
Who lived in a fog...

TPBM is now a koala.

KJ would tell me that if he was ever forced to play an MMO about regular people doing everyday things, he'd roll me.
BTW - That's roll as in "roll a character". -
Quote:That depends on the game. For CoH, I certainly don't need (or want) a rich storyline to enjoy being a super hero and clobbering bad guys. It's a genre of unbridled outlandishness and trying to contain it within a main plot can make it more laughable than enjoyable.
So here is my question to you, and those of you who skipped to the end, start reading now: Do you need your games to provide a "complete" experience with trivia, background, secrets and lore, or are you more interested in playing a fun game and following an engaging, but not necessarily plot-heavy story?
