This reminds me of something from years ago... I don't remember if it was a PC, or a NPC, but someone asked "how the hell did they get those skyskiffs throug the doors?".

More, and better, hair options? Yes please!
Of the standard hairs, there's about... 3 or so that I even slightly like. And they're divided between the old-style blended colors and "new" style multi-colors. Being able to first pick the style, then the texturing, would be a nice change. -

"Loyalty", on the other hand... can't really be measured in any way. And in an entertainment item like an MMO, is "loyalty" what keeps people playing, or is it interest? I could remain "loyal" to CoH, but stop playing due to losing interest (and by "could", I mean "did").
Paragon already often does various things to keep people interested if there's excessive downtime (such as ustreams, double xp weekends once it comes up, contests for random prizes, etc). -
No one out there even guarantees 100% uptime anyways... Amazon, for instances, only offers 99.95% uptime for EC2. Because there will be downtime, even when you're paying through your teeth for service.

You get auto logged out after 8 hours of no activity? That can't be true, because I frequently don't have to log in again the first time I get on in a day. Then again, that could just be broken as well...
One thing I've noticed is that following a link from Google to the boards has a high probability of logging me out (I've the Villains theme set, so blue = logged out). Not 100% though, so it might be a perception bias thing (I just tested it and wasn't kicked off). -
The "game with two E's in its name" is a bit of a different beasts, as RMT isn't just allowed, it's a huge part of the game. And I'm not just talking about buying items with money, I mean getting real money by selling in-game junk (you can even buy gametime with in-game money!).

There's an issue with these boards that causes people to be randomly logged out. It doesn't seem to happen to everyone.
The "Remember Me" checkbox generally sets the cookie that contains your user information to be retained for, say, 30 days, instead of only until you close the browser (end the session). -
Is there any change if, in Options -> Graphics and Audio -> Advanced Graphics Settings -> you set Mouse Cursors to "Compatibility Mode" instead of "Color"? You might have to restart CoH for it to take effect.

Have you tried using the Repair (right click on "CITY OF HEROES" -> "Repair (Consistency Check)") option in the NCSoft Launcher?
Could you post a CoH Helper and HiJack This diagnostic log? -

Since you're having issues outside of CoH with the same thing, I think it's pretty safe to conclude that it's not a CoH specific problem.
Neo Shadowdream didn't say a keylogger, (s)he said an Anti Keylogger (an antimalware tool), which is often included by OEMs (generally a with a free, temporary subscription to a paid service). It could be that. It could be some OEM software that handles special function keys on your keyboard (I've ran into that before), or some totally different software. -

To me, it looks like the items are exactly the same, but I might be missing something (maybe they look different in some ultra mode setting?).
