Well I think I have a date movie for me and my 5 year old this Christmas!
-
I *love* Felicia Day. It may actually be criminal how much so....

Quote:I have a level 28 (29?) one of these as well. She is fun to play, when I remember that I have her...Ive got a AR/TA corr which I am slowly lvling. So far the redraw isn't that much of an issue. In fact at low lvls I am finding Glue Arrow to be my saviour as I can keep things at ranged to avoid those rather painful melee attacks. And I can't wait for Oil Slick Arrow and Ignite

Quote:Yes, the power rangers has horrible acting, as do both of your other suggestions. Wild, horrifically over-the-top bad acting, which has always made me suspect that maybe is was part of the draw to these shows?Power Rangers has horrible acting? I guess you must have forgotten about the original Street Fighter live action movie, or the Super Mario Brothers movie.
If you don't like Power Rangers, why did you come to this thread?
I read a lot of threads, -=shrug=-, it's what I do.
I mean no disrespect, and everyone is of course welcome to like whatever they want, I am just genuinely curious why this show has any kind of a following?
I remember watching shows similar to this when I was 10 (28 years ago), and thinking it was basically better than going outside. -
I don't understand how anyone can actually watch these things? It is the most horrible acting combined with the most awful special effects in the known universe. Is that the draw to shows like this, that they are so bad that they are considered good? I have never understood this...

See, and *THIS* is why I should finish reading a post before responding. You already knew that. Nevermind, nothing to see here.... -=walks away whistling=-

I run a dual monitor setup and this happens every time CoH loses focus to another application. Clicking on the monitor that has CoH running changes nothing, everything remains frozen. Interestingly enough, if I ALT-TAB back to CoH I am ready for play again no problem.
The only suggestion I have for you to try is to try ALT-TABbing into CoH a second time to see if it responds. -
SS, you and your family remain in my thoughts. I hope for the best for you.

Quote:You sir (or madam as the case may be?),are an absolute genius. That is *exactly* the problem, thank you so much! That's the only solution for now that works. You can turn it back on after you adjust the settings. Just keep in mind that when you exit the game with the tool on, the game will stop responding and you have to force close it.

I used all 6 of Red Fortune set (possibly even twice?), to get the +ranged def in my soft-capped build on my BS/SR scrapper.
There may be better ways to achieve the same result, but cheaper?
Angus McThwack is a new man now that he is nigh untouchable. -
My left hand uses tab, space, and W (and occasionally S). I also use it to activate all attacks in spots 1-6 (and use CTRL and ALT for trays 2 and 3).
My right hand uses the mouse, left finger to click and select, right finger held down to move right or left, and scroll wheel for camera distance.
All the powers I don't use very often end up shoved over on the right in numbers 7-0 and in their corresponding ALT+ CTRL keys. (Things like the O-portal, jump pack, team recall, etc...) -
Quote:Like my good friend Dori says, 'just keep swimming, just keep swimming'.This week: Only one lb down to 250, but getting much much stronger.
Eating regularly and healthy. 12 days without smoking, and breathing much better.
Sunday ended up being a splurge day, ate way too much but every now and then ya have too.
I've been keeping a log for 13 months now, I weigh in every Monday, track everything I put in my mouth, and track my running and lifting progress.
I find it to be a great tool, especially after a month or so, and looking back at graphs and seeing numbers heading down (for weight) and up (for lifting) appropriately!
Great job on the no-smoking thing too, keep it up! -
Quote:Actually... yes and yes. I just run the tool to monitor things, not to overclock or anything, but that's... interesting (and/or disturbing).I know that I'm gonna sound like a broken record here, but does that happen to be an EVGA card, and are you running the evga precision tool while you are adjusting the coh settings?
The precision tool and coh's settings adjustment do not play well together.
I didn't have a chance to play with anything last night (2 kids will do that to ya!), but I hope to fiddle around tonight. Perhaps I'll try shutting off the evga tool.

Problem:
Changing the slide on FSAA to any setting causes the client to hang (not responding) and it must be forcibly closed.
The only reason I noticed this problem is because on test my FSAA was somehow set to 'off' (causing everything to look like trash). On live I have it set at 8x (where in imho it looks purty).
Changing the slider at all causes the same result on live or in test.
Question:
Can I copy my settings from live to test (i.e. are they stored in an .ini file or registry settings that I can just change outside the application?)
System Specs:
GeForce GTX 470
Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit OS)
12gb RAM
150gb HD 10k rpm (primary)
640gb HD 7.2k rpm (secondary)
Live: installed on primary HD
Test: installed on secondary HD
I am running the latest drivers (257.21_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_english_whql.e xe) for the video card, and did a clean uninstall/clean/install per another thread I was asking in.
Is there anything really obvious that I am missing or that I can try? I will post "HiJack This" and "CoH Helper" stuff tonight (I am doing this post currently from work... don't tell my boss!) Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
