Griefers
1. People who try to make your life miserable on a MMO. Good greifers will still make your life miserable but you can still laugh at it. Bad greifers would be people who enjoy making your life suck and only the person doing the griefing finds the act funny.

On City of Heroes, come good griefers are Catharctic, Imeco, Sun Splitter, Forgotten

Guardian, Phoenix of Syrinx, Cpt. Mule, and Fo Shizzle; where as the total dickhead griefers

are people like Beef Cake, Grandpa Cath, Cyber Wolf Man, Kickblast, and Poser Cath.

If you have a scrapper/tank/brute with all your all your primary/secondary powers ... flurry, Recall friend, aid other and no travel power.

If you have 5 50's tanks and no vet rewards.

Are curious if slotting enhancements are worth it.

Your on a Thugs/Dark MM and need someone to Tank.

Had romulous run so much one time we chased him to the top of the mountain before we killed him... Now it did make it easier since his healing nictus was running all over too and he wasn't getting heals.

As I said earlier, god forbid people put RL before a game. Even if RL is my friends calling me up out of the blue wanting to go out for a beer. They're more important than some strangers I met half an hour ago through an internet game. Sure, I'll tell you I'm going as well ahead of time as I can, but I'm not going to feel obligated to blow my RL friends off so I can stick around and help a bunch of total strangers play a game.

Agreed if someone puts this game ahead of their wife, husband, RL friends, kids, house work, work ect... You might need to look at your priorities.

If you hold it against someone cause they leave your TF or you "AWSEM" team you just got on. You should be ashamed of yourselves. They do not need to explain their kid got sick, wife saying she wants to do something, husband needs something, a friend wants them to go out.

I enjoy this game and sometime people go away it happens. If I want to continue to play I will find someone else they are not the only ones on game. If I am doing a TF/SF with them. It would be nice if they say hey RL is calling, but not needed or required.

I am from Triumph but if your famous and all powerful "AV killer" is going to be doing this competion I might transfer a toon to help fill or anything. I could use the giggle.

The way it sounded though if she competed it wouldn't be fair to any of you.

If I join a team I normally stay for one - two missions. Now if I join a TF/SF I have always stayed till the end. Even when the fiance was being provocitive I told these guys they need to hurry... lucky me they did lol.

I am the only lvl 50 on a group of toons lvl 1-43 doing a MA mission that auto SK's. I will note most the players and quit before the mission start.

I have a pretty large global friends list and pretty much team strictly with global friends and the people on my ventrillo server. Now I still pug once in awhile but those people have a lower priority then RL and prior online friends.

Yup and I can solo the 8 heros at the end of the LRSF with no temps, inps, or accolades with my Blaster....

Beat lord recluse with my MM on the statesman also.

A level 50 Archvillain has 28,271 hit points. They regenerate 94.2 HP per second. To defeat one in 15 seconds without debuffs would require doing 1,979 damage per second.

Since Howling Twilight's regen debuff lasts 30 seconds, I'll assume you open with that to floor the AV's regen. That lowers your requirement to a "mere" 1,885 DPS.

Tar Patch's -30% resistance debuff will be 85% resisted by a level 50 AV, meaning you only get -4.5% resist out of it.

Let's be generous and assume you can get a Soul Drain on a full 10 enemies, without missing any. The top damage per activation-second power in Dark Blast is Gloom. Fully enhanced it does 126 DPS on a defender.

If you could spam that constantly, with an 80% damage buff from Soul Drain, 18.8% more from Assault, and -4.5% res from Tar Patch, Gloom would do... a whopping 175 DPS. Your actual damage would be lower once you factor in Arcanatime, the 5% miss rate, and the necessity to form a full attack chain with lesser DPA powers. Fluffy will add a little, but not very much.

Even if you brought along a kin/ friend to fulcrum shift you to the damage cap (which would technically not be soloing), you'd still be far, far short of being able to down an AV in 15 seconds. You could pull out Warburg nukes, Shivans, Vanguard HVAS, etc. Even with those I don't think you'd make it, especially since it would take almost 15 seconds just to summon all that.

Oh, and your buffs and regen duff would wear off after about 30 seconds... So good luck with the last 2.

i've found some of her claims sort of odd myself. She will assert that ordinary content that i solo without difficulty with any AT is hard, and then claim she solos one of the tougher foes in the game in an absurdly short time. To me the fact that she refuses to reveal her secret method implies that she's either exploiting a bug/glitch or lying, but that was already suggested in the original thread.

Easy fix is do an ITF with her clear everything but romi and let her kill him in 60 seconds solo, I would even transfer a toon or two to see it.
Make something that far fetched and come off that much of a braggart plan on some people to call you on it.

Stop witch hunting farmers... most sell what they get so that add to supply and bring down prices.

Increase doing missions with rewards 47-52 regular in-game content.

Do TF's and SF's as you are leveling and after... merits are your friend.

This is where you failed. This kind of statement puts you firmly in the category of Picnic Raider, and thus not to be taken seriously, especially if you're not a known successful raid leader on your server.

When I say Picnic Raid I mean the rough equivalent is something like:

"Hey let's go have a picnic! I'll bring the potato salad!"
"Hey let's go raid Hami! I want an HO!"

Even in games with a solid raiding culture, there is very rarely anything like a fully PuG raid that turns out successfully. You have to take the time to plan, you have to build up some buzz, you have to get your core people knowledgeable and familiar both with the plan and each other before you try to fill out the rest of the raid with people off the street.

IF you had a group of SG friends, and IF you knew handful of people who were knowledgeable raiders to lead teams, and IF you knew a bunch of them were looking for something to do, THEN you might have had a reasonable expectation of pulling together enough people to fill out your raid.

As it is, if your server doesn't raid regularly, you need to do the planning to compensate for the rookie factor. The more people that don't know what's going on, the longer your raid takes, period.

H_B can attest when we tested the new raid in closed beta, it took forever, even with experienced raiders. That was because we were all learning our timing. If/until you have several people all familiar with the system and comfortable leading their teams, then you are one person trying to explain the plan and nuances of each role to 30+ others. That doesn't work well.

I wouldn't have gone on your raid. I wouldn't have believed any time estimate you gave shorter than 4 hours. I wouldn't even consider tagging along unless you honestly said you had most of the people you needed and just wanted fillers.

Hami Raids aren't hard, but don't think that means they're easy. Don't blame the AE for that either. It's a community of people who are mostly unwilling to put in even the minimum of planning and effort to learn the raid that makes Hami Raiding as uncommon as it is. Unplanned raids lead to failed raids. Failed Raids lead to people unwilling to raid in the future. People unwilling to raid in the future means you have little chance of succeeding in a PuG raid.

Exactly had a broadcast like that once except Hami spawned and said what the hell I have a good toon and can help out. Waited 3 hours for the raid to get started.
I was thinking I could of done 3-4 TF's including a STF or LRSF in this time and already got a SHO...
Also the pain of the core people disconnecting and leaches sneaking in... just not always worth it for the time invested to do on a PUG.

+800% recovery, +25% to hit, +100% recharge, and only a -10% defense?...

Not worth doing an easy TF? Finding Jack of Irons is more difficult. This is one of the easier accolades to get?!?

Even with killing the AV 10 times it should not last more then 45 minutes.

Same here their was a coalition SG B-day party in Pocket D. I was just standing around and they were like here are the winners... They tried to trade with me I told them to keep the money.

Plus I find most the time it is just people they want to recruit or are already in their SG.
