Zombie, I have some important info for you to add to your guide.

On Thursday, August 12, I discovered that the Shield Patterns (i.e. Cheif, etc.) are not broken, per-say. Rather, they're controlled by the Shader Quality setting.

If it is set to Lowest, Low (No world bumpmaps), or Low (With world bumpmaps), you won't see patterns on any of the Shields, except Kite.

If it is set to Medium or High, patterns show up as they should.

Tonight, I discovered that this also affects things like the Resistance "Plaques". I was standing right in front of one in Imperial City, and couldn't see it. Blondeshell came, and said, "It's right there". I saw nothing on the wall, but when I moved my mouse, the cursor changed to the interactive hand icon.

At that point, I noticed a faint horizontal line on the building. Remembering the issue with Shield Patterns, I changed my Shader Quality from Low (With world bumpmaps) to High. As soon as I pressed Apply, and the changes were made, I could see the grafitti I was supposed to click for the History "Plaque".

What? He's clearly riding a horse!!

My thoughts say that if you haven't been having any Endurace issues with DC, then why change?

Unless I've forgotten something, there's no change being made to Consume.

I say wait for the Market Merger and see. Most think that the prices will be cheaper once that happens. Then, you might be able to afford the Moderate build. And it rocks!!

Also, like I said, I paid that much, because I could, not because that's how much it costs. I had quite a bit of Inf on hand, so I generally didn't care about the prices, because I wanted the IOs NAO. If you're patient, then place bids at the price you're willing to pay, and wait for them to fill. It may take a bit, but you'll get them, because eventually, someone will unload the recipe or IO at a cheap price, just because they don't wanna be hassed with playing the market. And there are also people like me. When I have Recipe X, and see that it's generally selling for more than an NPC will give me for it, I'll list it for an amount a couple thousand over what the NPC will give me.

I've almost finished the Moderate build for Elec/SD, and I think I've spent close to 1 Billion, but that was due to 1) For a lot of things, I did the whole, "I wanna buy NAO!!" and overpaid, not really caring, and 2) There were a few times when I accidently overbid big time. Ouch.

Still, at this point, I expect the costs to be vastly different, since they will be merging the markets Tuesday.

I've gotten a list of 2 identical missions on Hero and Villain characters since forever. Once in awhile, I even have all 3 the same mission. o_O

I was wondering how the vid was going. I can wait until the end of the month for it. It'll be totally worth it!!

Also note that of ALL the runs in the Closed Beta, only ONE was a success, and it was by pure accident. General consent is that the CoP is majorly derptastically broken.

I have a Claws/Elec, and while he's a blast to play, I'm going to be making a Claws/WP come Tuesday-ish.

I made a Claws/WP Loyalist during the Closed Beta to test with, and I tore everything up, and then some.

I was out of town, with no way to post. Sorry.
