They updated the patcher for Live. Yesterday, when I went to load up Test, the patcher started, closed down, and re-opened a few seconds later. Live didn't do that. I just checked, and Live just did the same thing.

Of course, the best idea would be for them to routinely stock the Markets on Test with EVERYthing. ALL Recipies, Slavage, Enhancements, Inspirations. Have them all being sold for 1 Inf., allowing us to get whatever we want/need to Test with.
I think that would also make it easier to find bugs with Set IOs, since everyone would have access to them immediatly, meaning more people playing with them, meaning higher chances to break things. That is one of the purposes of the Test server, after all.
(I also think they need to do a monthly Inf and Pres Grant, too... >.>) -
Actually, I think what happened is this:
Character Data from the original Training Room was copied over to Training Room 02. Training Room 01 was taken offline, and Training Room 02 was set to be the defualt server for Test. As such, "purchased" slots didn't make the move, and need to be re-"purchased".
If you have anyone on your Global Friends list on the Training Room, you'll notice that it says they're on Training Room 02. -

There seems to be alot of talk of how necessary these are. Honestly, how necessaray is any badge that doesn't unlock a cool new accolade power, costume part, gadget for your super group, gladiator to play with (if you're into that sort of thing), etc...?
Everything else is just fluff. But hey, they are fun to collect. The count badges have just as much a place in the game as all the other badges, an award for achieving something.
As for the badges and the badge count on the info screen being redundant, i disagree. To me, they serve different purposes. I view the badge count as more of a personal tool for tracking my badge count. I'm generally surprised when someone else bothers to click on my info to access that information for themself.
The badge count badges, i view as a tool for those who want to advertise. I don't generally go around checking the badge count of every person i meet on the street, however if someone is sporting the "i earned 1,000 badges" badge title, i might be more inclined to take a look. -

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts. At the bottom of the list of stuff on the right side, where your pic is, you'll see a link to Change User Account Control settings. Click that. In the window that pops up, drag the slider all the way down to Never notify. Click OK, and close the User Accounts window.
You might have to reboot. I don't remember... I think you'll also need to delete the desktop shortcuts for anything with that ugly UAC shield icon on it, and remake them...
