It's a shame they don't have some kind of public, closed and/or open beta test, allowing users to test things out, and point out what's broken. Then they could listen to that feedback, and fix things, instead of having to run a QA during a live publish.

Awww!! Lurv your kittehs, BBT!! Thanks!!
And Frost, those are Cheep-Cheeps. -
Quote:That's different from /buy_coh. Two different /commands.I have always used "/quit$$dialogyes" for closing the game completely - and never had any problems. The game may be 'crashing' but I have never had any errors, nor any issues logging back in if I change my mind.

Official Announcement
Quote:The North American and EU live servers will be unavailable on April 28th from 6am to 11am Pacific (9am to 2pm Eastern/2pm to 7pm British /15:00 to 20:00 Central European) for the publish of Issue 17: Dark Mirror.
Thank you for your patience, -
Apparently, it went from TR to Freedom to Protector, and back to TR.
-
Quote:Oh. Well, alright then. For some of you whom this TF is too early for, this one is geared more towards the morning player (such as myself).
Good luck with it!!
Quote:Quote:Maybe it's just where I live, but I've found that there's a reason the comics handed out on that day are free... I'd say they suck, but they're not that good...
Blackest Night #0 was a Free Comic Book Day comic last year. This year we get War of the Supermen #0.
They used to have special figures or HeroClix on that day, don't think they do that anymore. -
Hehehe!! Thanks!!
Quote:This may be one of the only good uses of Excel. Now you're thinking with spreadsheets!
Essentially, I've made Excel my ***** for CoH.
Also: Where are mai kitteh pix!! -
Quote:Support Scrapper... Stay back by the Blasters to give them Phalanx Fighting...And just so there is no confusion, the enhanceable part works when ANY teammates are in range, not just other shield users. Of course, it will mostly be melee types that are within 8' of you, but whoever they are they count.

The event ran on Guardian tonight. While I seemed to be moving fine during travel, everyone else, PCs, NPCs, vehicles, all seemed to be moving frame by frame. And I'm sure that other players saw their character traveling fine, and mine going frame by frame...
Combat became a lagfest of press a button, and wait for it to activate. Even with my graphics on the bare minimum...
Remembering this thread, while everyone was in Atlas killing GMs, I went to the Tram. It took five mins. from when I clicked on Kings Row as my destination until it moved to the loading screen...
When I loaded into KR, where nobody was, there was lag there, too. Not nearly as bad as it was in Atlas, though. The vehicles were moving in a jerky way... move forward for a few seconds, pause for one, move forward for a few, etc.
Rather interesting... -
Yup. Part of GR slipping in by accident. During the CB, we had access to the new Alpha and Omega Auras, and could use them at character creation.
I think there was another pattern that slipped in after that, and before Syndicate, but I can't remember... -
It's all back? Neat!! Was busy with Anniv Event on Guardian.
-
Everything should, in theory, work fine after the patch.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Hope it's a good one!!
-
OK, so not exactly boredom...
Anyway, messing around in Excel, using it to recreate some old 8-Bit NES stuffs. Click thumbnails for larger versions.
Super Mario Bros.
The Legend Of Zelda
Mega Man
And then, just to see if I could, a 16-bit version of Mega Man:
It's not too bad, but due to my widescreen monitor, I was one row short for his hair. There's supposed to be a little spike up there...
So.. yeah... Fun with Excel. -
The "quit to login" command is /buycoh. That will open a window telling you about buying the game to upgrade your trial account, and that it will open a browser window with the NCSoft Store in it.
The 30 second countdown is still in effect, and if you try to log in immediatly, you'll get the message that the account is already logged in.
Finally, if you try to set up a bind/macro for /buycoh $$ dialogyes, it will crash the game. -
Huzzah!! With my last Day Job Badge that I just earned, I've hit exactly 600 Badges on my main!!
Congratulations to the other members of the 600 Club!! -
Wooo! My main, MA/Regen Scrapper, just got her final Day Job Badge!! She now has 600 Badges!! Yay!!
-
Huh. Company needs money. Lawsuit ends in settlement. Coincidence? You decide...

Quote:Yes, but the reason Nericus said to grab them after hitting Level 2 is because the Level 1 Contaminated now con Blue, and die much faster. You can gran them at Level 1, but the point was to make good use of them at Level 2.
Before Flashbacks, before Vet Rewards, I'd always do the Tutorial, going mission to mission, only killing the required 6 Contaminated (2 for Parks, 4 for Hicks), and then get Coyote's mission. I'd load in, kill the Contaminated, click the compy, and wait. That mission always sends a wave of Contaminated at you after you complete it. Then, I'd exit, run past Coyote, back to the Hotzone, where'd I'll kill the remaining 80-something I needed for Isolator. Went much faster because I could generally 1 or 2 shot them. -
Well, looks like the changed the roster again. I dunno what server was copied over this time, but it's not Freedom... o_O
